Layton almost jumped for joy when he finally spotted the snitch, until he realized that he was on a flying broom hundreds of feet in the air. He held on tightly to the front of his broom, darting towards the direction of Danica, who seemed to be right on its tail. With any luck, those bludgers would gravitate to her instead of him.

When Axel threw at the goals, Gid bit his lip, but the Keeper caught it. Aww darn it. When he passed toward Cathy, the Hufflepuff Captain, Gid wasn't sure if he should even try... but as the ball was midair, that was his best shot. He flew after the quaffle, hoping to nab it before Cathy could. ✯Ƈнαѕєя✯

Cathy smiled at Gideon, Iris's pet as she considered him (and in the kindest of ways), as he failed a steal from her. The smile was a hair more comforting and supportive than her usual cocky smile when playing. She admired the second year's gumption. It was adorable and honestly a bit inspiring since he couldn't walk all that properly; however, just because he couldn't walk didn't mean he couldn't fly. He just was no match without the experience and raw talent Cathy considered herself to have. She continued down the pitch, smile still on her face.
