Not thinking he could mimic her position, Nikolai simply remained floating there. "There is not much to say about me...," he started, his eyes looking down for a moment. "I have never had friends except you and I do not remember much about my family other than being an only child." As for what he liked and didn't, there still wasn't much to say. "I like to read and write. As for what I do not...well..." He looked down at himself and sighed. He didn't like what he was. It felt like more of a burden than anything else.

You like to read and write? Misaki said with a bright smile, in attempts to lighten the mood. My little sister likes to write poetry, she gets it from my mom, who also really loves to write, she said nodding. Unlike you, I've got fifty trillion siblings, she said, rolling her eyes in exagerration. I wish I were an only child.

Nikolai stared at her for a moment, hoping she was jesting with such a number. "That is...an overwelming amount of family." He tilted his head at her, thinking that even a few siblings would be nice. "Being an only child can be very lonely at times, though."

I was kidding, not that many, Misaki laughed, leaning back to look up into the clouds. I do have three full siblings, and at least fifty others, she mumbled. Not to mention the aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, she went on, sighing. Sometimes I just want to be alone and can't. At least I'm away from them all now... she said, looking to Nikolai. But I love being around you, she admitted with a soft blush.

Nikolai rubbed the back of his head while trying to imagine, yet failing, having so many realitives. "I suppose if you put it that way then I would understand how you would want to be alone." When she said she loved being with him, he gave an awkward smile and looked down. "Why with me? What about the man you were with when you first found me in the library?"

Jeika? Psh, Misaki sighed, shaking her head. He's... rude. And conceited. And harsh... I was just with him to look around... he's my cousin, she said, smiling to him faintly before her eyes moved back downward. I don't know why with you... but the thought of leaving your company makes me a bit sad, though I know I'll have to soon, it's late...and you probably are getting sick of me.

Nikolai slowly shook his head. "I do not think I could ever get sick of you, Misaki." He moved a little closer but not enough for contact. "If I had a place, I would invite you over so that you would not have to leave so soon...but I would not want to keep you for risk of upsetting any of your family or anything."

Misaki closed her eyes for a brief second, before looking to him. My mother would like to see me, but she has company now, so she wouldn't mind if I stayed out a longer while, she said before looking into Nikolai's eyes. Are you sure...? I feel like... maybe I am boring you... or that you want some time to yourself, or with the woman you were sitting in the library with when I ran into you...

Nikolai tilted his head a little, almost forgetting about Sinya but he just shook his head again. "I do not know where Sinya is but I am sure that she has found company elsewhere. And you do not bore me. I enjoy your company very much," he said with a warm smile.

Misaki smiled brightly, laughing softly before giving a hug to him. Thank you, you made me feel very happy, she said with a chuckle. So... where are you staying in the underground?

Nikolai smiled in return. "I am glad." When asked where he was staying, he looked down for a moment before shrugging. "I have not found a place yet. I will probably stay here in the forest for tonight and look for a place tomorrow."

The corners of Misaki's mouth pulled downwards into a frown before she shook her head. That's not very comfortable, she said with a shy smile. Why don't you and I head over to the lakeside cabins and spend the night there? If you want, I mean, she said with a deep blush.

"I have slept on the ground plenty of times." It's how he had slept for most of his life but he wasn't complaining. He was just used to it, that's all. "There are cabins? I did not know that... Do I need to pay a fee to be able to use one?"

Misaki pouted, shaking her head. No, I don't want you to, I don't care if you have a lot, I don't want you to anymore, she said stubbornly. I'm not sure if there's any paying involved in staying in one of them, why don't we go seeeee?

Nikolai opened his mouth to argue the point but decided that it was best not to. Plus, the idea of sleeping on a bed was too tempting. "Alright, let us go see. Do you know where they are?"
