Ghost immediately stood back up and flared his wings, his ears pinned back. "Diamond, I've had enough of your talk. Drop it." He said sternly, then laid back down beside his filly.

Glareing at Ghost, She tossed her head. Sounding like he was trying to avoide her question. She turned her head, making her cuddle around Storm and Jewel. She snorted in fusteration and tried to get some sleep. Hoepfully things would be better after she woke up...

Lithea snuggled into Ghost's side more, unsure. She nickered tentativly back to Storm, and to Prince.
Prince trotted back to Ghost, looking up at his father. He copied Ghost and streched out his wings, holding them out for a breif second before shaking them and folding them back. He stood beside Lithea, still acting as a watch dog.
Kipcha flicked her ears and woke, standing. She curiously watched Diamond and Ghost then walked over to Ghost and laid beside him, resting her head on his back.

Ghost nuzzled Lithea again, then Prince. "That's my boy. Soon, you'll be able to fly too. And you as well, Lithea..." he said with a proud smile. He looked back at Diamond and sighed, perhaps he had been a bit irrational...but what was she to expect, he was a new father and bound to be protective of his foals. "Diamond?" He called to her, then turned his head to nuzzle Kipcha. "You feeling any better?" He asked her.

Slowly waking up, she blinked at Ghost. Remebering of their arguement, she sighed and looked at Ghost. "Yeah?" She asked protecting her foals, but keeping her head on the ground, to tired to move it.

Kipcha looked at both of her childern. "A little better. How are you doing?"
Lithea looked curiously at Ghost and curled up, nipping Prince's leg to get him to lay down.
Prince stood proudly and nuzzled his father. When he felt his sister's n** he snorted but then curled up around her, so that his head was over her neck and her head was laying on him. With in a few minutes both the foals were fast asleep.

Ghost smiled a bit tiredly and looked at Kipcha. "I'm feeling alright...Prince is quite protective of his little sister." he said with a chuckle, shifting his wing to cover both of his foals for warmth. He then looked back over at Diamond and sighed. "I'm sorry about flaring up. It's just...being a new father...I'm just quite protective, surely you can understand that.." He said quietly.

Kipcha laughed, "I would except nothing less from him, knowing how his father is. You should get some sleep you need it as much as I do." She looked curiously at Diamond wonder what had happened but not asking about it. She nuzzled Ghost resting her head on him.

Ghost laughed. "Was that a compliment?" He asked Kipcha. He nuzzled her as she rested against him and then he curled his neck around his sleeping foals, his head resting on the ground.

"It can be, love." Kipcha's eyes started to drift close and she shook her head to keep them open.

Ghost chuckled. "Alright then I take it as one." He said, raising his head to nuzzle her. He saw her getting drowsy again and smiled. "Hun, you need to sleep. Prince and Lithea are sleeping, you can get a good nap in until they wake up. I think I'm going to do the same for a short while." He said, nuzzling her once more, then laying his head back on the ground, curled around his foals again.

Kipcha yawned, "Be sure to wake me if they get up." She normaly would wake if either of the foals got up, but she doubted that she would this time, she was too tired. "Sleep well Ghost." She lied her head down and closed her eyes.

*Dreamcloud watched the herd. First Diamond laid down, then Kipcha and Ghost, and Sepsis had her back turned..What would stop her from going to find some other stallion? She thought obviously about it, looking strongly to the west and back at the herd, then to the west again, and routinely back to the herd, slowly for several long minutes.*

Diamond listend to Ghost. All she did was nod. She curled around her foals again and laid her head down to go back to sleep. She was so tired.

Evander snorted and nickered to Dreamcloud, pawing at the ground. He still wasn't quite sure of what to say to her, but nonetheless, he knew she wanted a foal, and he would give anything for one of his own as well...
