((Well, it depends Streak....
But I'll listen to almost anything Heavy, like Rock, Metal, Industrial Rock, and stuff like that, I'll listen to Alternative rock...some country, not much, a little techno, no disco, some blues, some classical, not really swing or jazz...))

((Heh, give me a moment kiddo, and I can talk your ear off on what makes quality music, and also the cultural response to certain genres, the different musical reactions to historical events, the development of folk music and its essential part in our history, the evolution of that folk music into other genres in the current day, there's also the different international music and the effect of language on music, oh and you have to love the symbolism and the like written into music by some of the great composers. Those are just some of the stuff I could gab about, as for what makes good music? it's like asking what makes good art....and there are a lot of categories that fall into what makes good art, and with every era the definition of art evolves even more. Honestly, how can someone take a Monet, and say that it is bad art compared to a Da Vinci? they're so different, they appreciate different visions, and focus on different artistic qualities?))

(I dont bother arguing about music anymore because people have already made up their mind on what they think and wont give it a chance if they already decided they dont like it. So while I argue a VALID reason they normally counter with the following bullshit.)
((Rap music sucks because its about nothing other than degrading women and gloating about how much money they have.))
((Country music sucks because I've only heard two country songs and I didnt like them.))
((Rock music consists of a bunch of devil worshipping evil people so that sucks.))
((Classical sucks because its boring))
((Techno sucks because its repetative))
((Emo music is too bitchy))
((Hardcore sucks because I dont understand what they're saying))
((So why bother arguing about a music you think is good when that person has already made up their mind that the music sucks.))

((This has been a full week for me, major HW going on. Blah...had to write a non-fiction narrative, read a 100 page play, 75 poems--not short ones either, four short stories, take a roll of film, paint one stupid picture, translate a poem, write a three word poem, Anyway, holy frick...the weeks just started too. T-T This is also not counting the scooby doo play I've promised to write, or the other creative piece I'm working on, or the pictures I have to do for peoples, and the tags, etc, etc, etc. *sigh*))
