Damien turned toward Miyuki's voice. His eyes softened as they landed on Miyuki. He smiled and his heart warmed at the sight of her. "Miyuki," he answered. His eyes widened as Miyuki threw herself into the building. There was no doubt that she would have glass all over her from that. Damien winced at the thought. He quickly brought himself back to reality and jumped into the building behind Miyuki. Even though Miyuki had gone through the window before him, he receive several cuts from the glass. "Miyuki?" he called. "Are you okay?" The stench of blood filled his nose and he had to try hard to keep himself from vomiting.

Kyo wasn't sure whether he should run or scratch the vampire's eyes out for referring to him in such a manner. Of course such an action would be foolish. He was still injured from his earlier fall. The cat quickly turned and jumped out the window two stories down. He considered turning back human, but that he was much faster as a cat and a larger form only meant a larger target. He could turn into a bird, but there was no way he could outrun an angel. And so, Kyo took off down the alleyway and headed back into the main road, hoping to get lost in the crowd.

 A love deprivation
I've got a jet black heart
It's all ******** up and it's falling apart
Miyuki hissed as the cat ran, she heard Damien's voice but something about the boy caught her eye just as she was turning to run back down stairs. He was small, a brunette with big fat tears welling up in his round eyes. It was as if he soul spoke to her. She reached out to him her eyes stinging as she took him in her arms. "Brother.." She murmured softly as she stroked his hair. The child seemed lonely her laid in her arms holding her tightly, his small hands gripping her shirt as he sobbed. "Kitty go byeee!!" He whined. Miyuki winced as she heard Damien again, slowly she released the boy, prying his hands off her she turned and jumped down the flight of stairs to look at Damien with out so much as a wince, but her eyes were pained. "Damien.." She called to him softly to get his attention. "He's running, toward the main street, we have to get him. Right?"

Damien looked up to see Miyuki. She was covered in blood, the glass still clung to her clothes. He smiled at her and started to brush the glass off his clothing. "Yea," he sighed. "Go get him, I'll follow you from the sky," he added quietly but loudly enough that Miyuki could hear. Damien carefully brushed the rest of the glass off his clothing and stood. He ran toward the stairs following Miyuki's lead. ♠-Hikaru-♠

Miyuki bit her lip. "Wait.." She stopped turning to him. "Who is that?" She shook her head abruptly. "Never mind tell me on the way!" She sprinted up the stairs, following the cat's aura she found the same window he had jumped through and kicks it out with her foot this time. She smirked, proud of her better usage of her brain, and jumped she fell easily, landing on her toes she made a sharp turn to follow the cat. She was a ways behind it when she saw it stop momentarily. She tilted her head for a split second and it was gone again. "Damn!" She yelled. She saw something dark turn and follow it as well, and then she opened up to read its aura. "Damn!" She screamed louder this time. "What the hell is that guy doing out here!" She growled.

Ryuu walked slowly along a side alleyway as he tunked in his wings. He adjusted his shirt so it would fit naturally against his back. He walked slowly out of the alleyway, and looked out onto the main street. The street seemed filled with people, and he could almost feel his blood-lust pulling him to them. He shook his head as if the shake the thoughts of drinking out of his head. He walked into the crowd, and walked at a stead pace, easily blending into the flowing current of bodies. Now, where was that little girl? I know she was- just then, familiar auras hit him. With blant disgust, he realised the auras to be the angel's and Miyuki's. Another powerfull aura hit him as well as he continued to walk. What the..?

Kyo weaved through the forest of legs in his plight to escape his pursuers. 'Damn, I need to find some place to wait this out. I can't go back to the hotel, they know about that. So where?' He thought. As he ran through the crowd, he sensed a hidden aura similar to the angel's lover. For a moment, the cat stopped and stared, finding the man eerily familiar, then he was off once more.

Ryuu stared at the cat for a moment as froze as it met his eyes. Something like recognition seemed to flicker in the cat's eyes before it ran off. What's going on here? he wondered. He turned around and ran after the cat, not bothering to dodge the people on the street. A chorus of 'Hey's and 'watch where you're going's erupted from the crounda s he raced after the cat. He could slowly feel the creeping feeling of Miyuki's aura aproaching him from behind. He cursed quietly under his breath as he ran after the cat. What was that thing? he pondered, well, whatever it was, it obviously isn't a normal cat. He ran into a less crowded area, and with a running start, he released his wings and flapped. He flew quickly as he tried to spot the cat again. Damn. Where'd it go?!

(well of course it isn't human, it's a cat XD)
It seemed that another person had joined in the chase. This was definitely not good. As soon as he could, Kyo charged into an alley way, only to find that it was not an alley way at all. In front of him laid a large building, obviously cloaked for some unknown reason.
Kyo knew that he needed to move along, but his theif's curiousity got the better of him. Why would someone set something like this up unless they were hiding something. In his cat form, it was child's play to jump from window to window until he reached the uppr levels of the building. Once again an open window served as his passageway as he entered the house. He appeared to be in a bedroom and he could sense that someone was in the room.
Seeing as the door was closed, he decided to see who it was. He lept onto the upper bunk to find a sleeping boy, whom he once again recognized. But this was not what intrigued him, what did was the necklace hanging around the boy's neck. He recognized the symbol as demonic, more precisely, the mark of the demonic seer who had died almost fifty years earlier. 'He must be the one who set up the barrier. As long as I stay with him, those fools won't touch me' Kyo thought then rolled up into a ball at the teenager's feet.

Ryuu jerked his wings to turn into the alleyway to follow the cat. He ran into the alley only to find it wasn't an alleyway. There was a cloaked building in front of him, and he stared at it in curiosity for a moment. He could feel a familiar aura again. He stared at the building a while longer before spotting the movements of the cat's tail as it lept into a window. Ryuu sneered as he flew after the cat. He came near the window and peeked in, only to find the cat curled up at the feet of a person's feet. He couldn't make out the person's face, only that the boy had a familiar aura. Who is that? he wondered. Better yet, why am I chasing the cat? he pondered on his thoughts, and instead of entering the building shrank back into the shadows. He flew slowly to the floor, and waited for Miyuki to come join them. He knew she was following him, and he was determined to spot her before she spotted him.

Lidi quickly finished off whatever food she had left on her plate and watched as Jake climbed up the stairs. She placed her plate on a counter and looked around. She had to rest, she knew that, but she would rather stay down here. Finally finding a place, she sat down beside an old sofa and leaned against it. She coughed slightly as the dust came up and settled down, but she eventually found it comfortable to just lean against the sofa while sitting on the floor. Soon after she began to doze off, only to wake up a moment later.
