Journey smiled and shook her head. "No, I think he more said I'd be like Joan of Arc if I was ta join you." She tilted her head in pleasant amusement. "Medieval super heroes? Neato!"
She threw her head back and laughed when Kai mentioned her accent. "Thanks mate. I'll answer your question before hand. No, I don't know what it is. I get a lot of hassle for it. Someone said it's like three accents rolled inta one." She shrugged playfully. "But I don't mind it. Long as you can understand what I'm sayin."
Garaden looked over as Blair lay next to him, and sidled closer to her. "As long as it's not the same as the last song you sang to me. I didn't go to sleep that time." That song had most definitly not put him to sleep. Only made him crazier about her.
He picked up his head to squint tired eyes at Nimue. "Maybe we should hear what she has to say first." He said with a yawn.

Hiro yawned. "I'm tired and hungry. Let's go have some melon bread. That always tasted good." He then went out the door in a flash.
Setsuna sighed while smiling. "He sure never changes." She watched him leave and looked back at Naito. "Well I'll be off to make sure he doesn't get into the wrong container." She lightly laughed. "See ya later." She then left following him too.
Naito laughed a bit. "Sure thing." He then looked as Nimue arrived. He wondered what the surprise was. Nonetheless he waited to see what awaited.
Lorien was way behind Nimue trying to stay hidden. For some reason she was feeling really nervous and she didn't know why. Perhaps she still had a twinge of fear from her past. The light brown wolf bit her lip then released it. For a second she thought of summoning up a vine to cover her completely up, but if she did that she would probably create a scene, not to mention make the room look like a jungle. Nonetheless, she stayed behind Nimue as best as she could.

"Ah, well, that makes more sense too. I don't think I'd want to be compared to her considering how she died." Kai grimaced and shook his head. "Anyway, one of the main things we do is things around for people. Just to be nice and helpful." Kai listened as she explained her accent and he laughed. "Journey, if I could understand what Rudolf says, I'm sure I can understand you."
Endless' tail was wagging excitedly at Rudolf's words and she stood shakily, nearly knocking herself over. Taking a deep breath, she gained control over herself and moved towards Rudolf.
"Yes, I'm ready Rudolf." She stepped towards the door and nodding goodbye to Atreyu and the others in the room. She looked back at Rudolf and smiled, flicking her tail. "Let's see who makes it to the front door first..."
(( Endless- to town whee --- Where exactly will town be? The back porch or the main thread? ))
"I didn't intend for you to sleep last time." She whispered, smiling at her mate. She heard Nimue and turned back to the others and noticed the wet female.
"Alright then, afterwards, I'll sing you a lullaby but uh, why is she wet?" Blair wondered aloud.
Atreyu looked towards Rudolf and Endless and nodded his head.
"Have fun you two!" He called to them. "And be careful..." He shook his head. "Ugh, I sound like a parent."
He looked towards the door and noticed Nimue and he let out a sigh of relief. She was alright after all- wait, a surprise?
"While you were all off on your own adventure, I bumped into a young earth elemental I would like you all to meet." Nimue looked down at her and smiled. "The first lesson starts here Lorien. Lesson #1, be brave." Nimue looked back at the others and shook herself to get rid of the excess water. "I'd like you to meet my apprentice Lorien."

Rudolf nodded goodbye to everyone and walked out with Endless. "Okay. Door front first see." He said starting to run.

Journey nodded. "Be helpful. I can do that." She tilted her head and smiled. "I haven't really spoken to Rudolf, so I'll take your word fo' it."
Garaden smiled and leaned over, licking Blair's cheek. He turned back toward Nimue. "I don't know." He arched his neck slightly to see the pup hiding behind the blue female. "Hi Lorien." He said, covering his muzzle to hide the following yawn.

Lorien listened to what Nimue said. She looked down for a bit then walked forward a bit nervous still. Why did she have to say the exact same words her mother used on her when she left her with the bracelet. Nonetheless she just stood there hoping no one would mind that much. "Hello."
Naito looked shocked. It was Lorien. He had seen her before in the pack, but he wasn't expecting her to be this formal since she normally kept her nose in a book and read a lot.

Kai heard Rudolf and watched him and Endless leave. Yawning and stretching, he looked back at Journey and gestured to his paw towards the door where Rudolf had just left.
"Trust me, when he gets back...just talk to him and you'll see." He tilted his head. "Well, if you can do that.... you'll be fine Journey."
Blair smiled as Garaden licked her and stared at the little puppy that Nimue had brought along with her.
"Did-did Nimue have a kid?" She asked, looking around the room at everyone.
Atreyu stared at the young puppy and stepped forward. He bowed before Lorien and gave her a warm smile.
"Hello and welcome Lorien. I hope you enjoy yourself here." He looked at the others and smiled as they welcomed Lorien. He heard Blair's question and then looked at Nimue, wondering why she was wet as well. "Why are you wet?"
"I'm wet because someone dropped water out of one of the windows on me." She shook again and stretched. "There has been a lot of weird stuff going on around the house but I hope it isn't anything serious."
Nimue looked down at Lorien and smiled. "Hey, don't be afraid." She pawed gently at the young earth moonlit and wagged her tail.
"Weird things?" Atreyu tilted his head and frowned. "Where did this happen Nimue?"
"Near the front porch." Nimue said with a nod. "Don't worry, I'm sure it isn't anything. So, did you all enjoy your treasures?" She asked everyone in the room, sitting down and wrapping her tail around Lorien comfortingly.
Atreyu pondered that for a moment and then nodded.
"After everyone rests up for a bit, we will go and investigate this. We cannot afford any trouble around here but for now, enjoy your break." He glanced over to where Journey and Kai were and he barked at the two. "Journey, if you are serious about becoming a knight, then I would like for you to accompany us."

Journey smiled thankfully to Kai. "I hope so." She looked up when Atreyu called her name. "Sure thing mate!" She stood up, tail swaying behind her. "So, pahrdon me, but where are we going? I was listinin' to Kai."
Garaden tilted his head. "She doesn't look much like Nimue."
Hearing that there was now something else for them to go see, he was about to start groaning when he realized Atreyu said they could rest first. "Good." He said, eyes already drooping closed.

"Sure thing." Naito then listened to the whole conversation. "Dump water?" He tried thinking of moonlits that could do that, but there were too many so he just gave up the idea.
Lorien still was her quiet self. "Thank you." She lightly bowed back to him hoping that would do. She then sat there and listened in on the whole conversation.
Just then a dark colored wolf came in that looked like he was part dog as well. "I'd watch it out there if I were you. They did the same thing to me." He then sat beside Naito. "So! I see you've been here this whole time." He looked at all the knights. "Pleased to meet you. My name is Balto."

"Wow, we really must not have been paying attention. Nimue is back." Kai smiled back at Journey and noticed a newcomer into the room that sat next to Naito. He stared at the two of them for a moment before wagging his tail tiredly.
"Hello!" He called to Balto. He looked different somehow to him.... he wasn't entirely sure how but it was strange. He gestured his head towards Balto as he looked towards Naito. "You know him?"
"Hm.. I guess you're right."
Blair heard that Garaden would have something more to attend to and she smiled down at him.
"You're such the busy-body." She noticed his eyes and laid herself beside him, lying her head near his as she began to hum softly. "Would you like that lullaby now?"
Atreyu smiled at Journey and shook his head.
"It's alright Lady Journey, Kai is known for causing distractions." He ignored Kai's huff and his snappy 'I heard that!' and approached her. "I've decided on your test. I believe that I'm going to have you tag along, once everyone is rested, to check out the weird things going around the house. That is, if you still wish to become a knight. The choice is yours." He sat down and stared at her for a moment before he heard a new voice. He turned towards the door just as Balto entered and he barked a friendly greeting. "Hello Balto, I'm Atreyu and welcome to the sitting room."
Nimue looked down at Lorien and gave her a curt nod at her bow. She looked to the others and then back down at her.
"Now that was so hard now was it?" She patted the young pup on the head and nodded her head when Atreyu said that they would investigate it. "If you do investigate it, do be careful."
She was beginning to have a bad feeling about something happening in the future (not the near future but the just the future in general).

"Nimue?" 'Ah, that's the blue gal.' Journey snickered at Kai's reaction to Atreyu, then held her head back up when Atreyu spoke to her. She nodded enthusiasticly. "Yeah! I still want ta join."
Garaden smiled as he felt Blair lay next to him. "I like lullabies." He muttered sleepily. He cracked an eye open and looked at her to show he was awake enough to at least hear part of her song.

Balto nodded at Kai's question. "Yes. We share the same owners, but I only came here recently since I've been doing sledracing for the main part." He then looked Atreyu. "Thank you and if you don't mind me asking, what are the knights exactly?"
Lorien shook her head in response to Nimue before talking to her telepathically. "Is something bothering you?"
Naito nodded his head in understanding. He then looked at Balto. "Hey there." He shrugged. "Well I only got to know him recently, but that's about all. He never really hung around much during the winter."

"Sled racing? Interesting." Kai said. He shook himself to fluff out his fur before he settled on the ground and curled up into a ball. Lying his head on his paws, he listened in on the conversations around him and before he knew it, they had all jumbled together into one sound. Groggily, he looked up at Journey when she answered Atreyu and he smirked.
"Oh wow, the first girl knight... she should get her own crown." He said sleepily to her and Atreyu
Blair nodded and closed her eyes, humming first the melody that was forming in her mind before saying the words.
" There must be something more to us than you and me
It must be tangled up somehow with destiny
I used to think the sum of one and one was two
But we add up to more, me and you..." She continued singing the rest of the song to Garaden as she moved closer to him and began to stroke his tail with hers.
Atreyu let out a few barks and wagged his tail.
"Alright then... this will be wonderful." He walked towards Journey and tapped his paw on one shoulder and then the other and bowed to her. "You are no officially a squire of the round food bowl."
Hearing Balto, Atreyu turned from Journey and tilted his head. "Well, we the protectors of this shop and this house and we have a duty to make sure that everything is running in order and to protect everyone from evil and trouble makers that may make themselves known. We help out whenever it is needed... like King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, we are willing to serve." He bowed to Balto. "And if you don't mind me asking, was there an particular reason you sought us out for a visit this lovely night?"
Nimue looked down at Lorien and shook her head 'no'.
"No, nothing at all is bothering me... I just had a strange feeling. Maybe something important...I don't know." She answered back with her mind. She was surprised the young pup was able to do so.

Journey frowned slightly, wondering what Atreyu was tapping her shoulders for. "I'm a squire? Cool!" 'Of course, like in place of a sword.' She giggled and turned to Kai. "Crown? That won't be neccessary." She smirked to herself, looking up dreamily at the ceiling. Her voice contained a hint of her sarcasm. "Although... one of them big diamond an' gold necklaces would be dandy."
Garaden smiled gently listening to her hum. He closed his eyes with a deep sigh, using what energy was left to reach over and lick Blair's cheek as she sang. He snuggled into her fur and fell easily asleep. It was a dreamless sleep, but he could sense a feeling of contentment.

Balto shrugged. "Well I wanted to see what my packmates were doing at first, but now that I'm here it looks like you are busy." He looked at the ones who were discussing things. "Oh so you're going to have this as a test for the female?" He thought a bit. "If you don't mind, would you mind if I tagged along. I mean...I like to help others and that as long as they don't find my appearance scary since when I was dogsled racing they would be terrified of me."
Naito smirked. "You know you should. That way I won't be ignored in the group." He realized what he said. "I meant...that way I have someone to talk to."
Lorien nodded her head and responded back telepathically hoping no one else was able to hear her. "Alright, but if there ever is a problem, I'm sure these knights could handle it if you made them sound as great as they are."
