He opened his eyes but narrowed them. Shin raised his hand and motioned for Tenma to sit.

"Of course by now you are aware of the mess Leviathan Stadium is in."

He paused, taking a sip of tea before continuing.

"The Kyonuske are in no better shape as it would appear. Having to wait like this... what are we? Are we running, waiting? I wish it would end, I wish we could do something. But alas, it is but wishful thinking. We all have our orders, even I... and we cannot ignore that."

He set his empty cup down on the table next to him, taking a sigh and hanging his head down between his legs...staring off into space. He looked up at Tenma, giving him his attention.

"So, why are you here. Why do you continue this life as Kyonuske?"

Enki Leviathan
*Enki watches the beautiful Siren at work in the water, his eyes starting to glow a soft blue. He contently listens to her sing her song and smiles as she starts returning back to the shore. Once upon the shore, she collapses to her knees. Instantly, Enki drops to his and wraps his arms around her to help her*

Is there anything I can do to help?

Besides from guiding me back to the tents...or maybe carrying me.., she added for she simply didn't manage to stand up after the water spirits had left her, No, I'm fine for now. Just need some rest.
If it was possible to rest at all in this mayhem taking place in- and outside of the stadium...

Lucind placed her arm around Enki's neck and sighed.
I still don't even know who gave me a lift from the merchant's ring...and what the hell is really going on there. I mean, the Destroyer's appearance was only a side effect. But I saw two persons down in the very center of the arena and...

She blinked. Have you seen Sunstrike? He fought against the Destroyer, but I'm oblivious to almost everything around once I start to slip into someone's mind... I hope he's fine...

*Enki picks Lucind up once more and begins heading back toward the tents*

Sunstrike? Oh, that guy's fine. He's been up against worst then Maximos... As for what's going on... far as I can tell, someone named Provindence is trying to exact God's revenge upon the people in the stadium, or something like that. My brother, Efreet, was fighting him last I checked... I have been busy getting stander-bys out of the stadium so I know not the details...

*He leans down and gently presses a kiss to Lucind's forehead, a small trace of moisture left where his lips were. When he reaches the tents again, he walks into a vacant one and places Lucind down onto a cot. He then kneels beside her and smiles hopefully at her*

Hmm...hope you're right. Maximos...he conveyed me a kind of last words for everyone here he might have hurt unintentionally...being the Destroyer.

Once again, Lucind saw young Maximos saying goodbye to her, and when he spoke: Please...tell them I'm sorry.

She could hear excited voices, moans of the wounded. The smell of blood.
Lucind felt Enki kissing her. She closed her eyes and mumured:
What a wicked, crazy day.

*Enki needn't hear the words to know what they were. Maximos' last goodbye. He lefts out a soft sigh and gently lays his head down against Lucind's arm*

A day I hope will soon end... I may have to go back into the stadium and help, I don't know how the situation has gotten...

She nodded. Okay. But take care. Maybe the worst is still to come...

Rather to herself, she added thoughtfully. I was just about to leave the stadium, to live somewhere else. And now this.

She drawed up her leg and smiled back at Enki, but a trace of bitterness was mingled in her voice.

Eien just nodded again listening to Arina as she spoke, telling her of her family and her life. How she grew up in Barton and her husband was missing now. She asked Eien about her life but kept forgetting that the eiehian maiden could not talk. Babbling on about wondering how Eien's baby was doing as well. "Oh Ceres, I know you would just lov..e...a...ahhhh....so..rry...coming again..."

Eien, now nicknamed Ceres for the time being squeezed Arina's hand. Comforting her as another wave of pain speard through her as the baby started to come forth again. It would be here in time, just a few more moments hopefully before she would start the birthing stages. Looking around for the major utensils that she would still need. Warm water, fresh clothe. She would get it when she needed it, for now she just relaxed and tired to put Arina's...rather talkive mind at ease.

With a slight groan, Night stands up, dusting himself off and rolling his neck, then he looks back at Alexial and Daemon

"I'm going to go and see if I can find out what's going on at the stadium. You're welcome to come with me if you wish."

He pushes back his jacket, pulling his USP Tactical from it's place in his shoulder holster, he pulls back the slide, letting it go forward of it's own accord with a satisfying click as it loads a round into the firing chamber and replaces it back in its holster

"Just wish I had some way to go in with more than a pistol and a few grenades... I have a feeling I'd like my full combat loadout for whatevers going on."

The buzzing sound that had been present for a few moments from deeper into the woods, along the road that lead to Barton, was growing steadily louder.

It picked up in volume, though dropped in pitch a bit, as the lone motorcycle that violently screamed down the road towards the Leviathan approached. The trees began to give way, a bit, and then eventually vanished entirely when the landscape opened up to the large open space in front of the Leviathan.

A sudden screech of the tires and a puff of white smoke coming up from behind the bike, and the motorcycle skidded to a stop in the center of the road, with the lone passenger sitting motionless upon it; save for slowly turning his head from staring up at the stadium walls to, instead, looking at the camp of refugees that had gathered outside of the forest.

Not really waiting for a reply, Night moved swiftly on through the forest towards the stadium, picking up his pace a bit as he neared it. Seeing many people huddled around some fires on the edge of the treeline near the stadium.

The stench of death seemed to grow as he neared the stadium.

As he walked by a few people gathered together, he stopped and asked what happened, getting a rather distorted and most likely unreliable, brief account, as most traumatised eye witnesses give, he nods and continues on towards the stadium entrance.

Being told by some others that the entrances had all collapsed, he went on, deciding to see how bad it was and if there was some way he could get through the debris. Once he got to the main entrance, he sighed, seeing there was no way through with what he had on him. A well placed remote charge would do the trick most likely, but the closest spot to get those was the GSF HQ. And he had no way to get there quickly...

Or did he?

He looked up towards the whining of a motorcycle, having heard the screech of it stopping before he got there, but having not paid much attention to it until now. The HQ wasn't far from here, and it had everything he could possibly need. So maybe this guy would feel like helping...

And so he started walking towards the lone man on the motorcycle

It was rather strange in Eien's mind that Arina talked herself to sleep. Weary from the pains within her mind from the child that the tanned skinned woman would give birth too soon. She was kinda happy to take a break for a moment as well, a young haired doctor came over and checked on her. Nodding to Eien as if she was any volutneer and this made her blink a few times. Good, she would go unnoticed and help with what she could. Sitting up slowly she winced after her own baby kicked in protest for sitting for that long.

Eien strenched before wandering over to the med table in the corner, clean towels and warm water. Perfect she noticed, this would help in preparing for Arina's birth. Should just be within the next few hours or so, knowing how long the contractions where now.

Taking a wet clothe she nodded to a passing nurse that she was taking one since most of some of the supplies were limited and making her way to Arina's bed again. Taking her seat on the small stool, she wiped the sweat from the young woman's brow and place a hand over hers again.

The clothe on her brow still covered her star, that glowed under it on her brow. Yet aloud for her hair to still cover her pale face, not allowing anyone to see her ethereal features. And the people were nice enough to allow a simple skirt and shirt for her to wear instead of her tattered wrap, both long enouth to hide her lovely silver tattooes.

Patting Arina's hand again she closed her eyes till her new friend awoke and listening to the soft cries of the others within the large tent. Place a hand on the silver necklace that hid in her shirt, mouthing a prayer to the sins and virtues.

Rest, beautiful Syren. You're angelic voice is sounding worn and tired... I'll come back to help you, I promise...

I thank you.
Drowse flooded her body, her eyelids went heavy.
She turned onto her side, slightly pulled her legs towards her chest and breathed in deeply.

As soon as my body obeys me, I come and see if I can help, too...

A few seconds later, Lucind was asleep.

Nighthunter
So maybe this guy would feel like helping...

And so he started walking towards the lone man on the motorcycle

The figure that sat atop the motorcycle, covered entirely in black, did not dismount from the bike; nor did he make any movements towards the refugees in the camp. The only real movement that was made was the raising of his right hand to the side of his helmet, where a knob was turned and a button was pressed.

The viewer inside of the visor that the rider wore beneath his helmet zoomed in a little closer upon Nighthunter as he began to approach. A small box outlined the man's face on the viewer, and then drifted up to the corner of the screen as it accessed the satelite linkup from the transmitter worn, among other items, upon the rider's back. It took only a moment of searching through the database at main HQ, before a match was found for the image:

[ GSF ]

"Do you require assistance?"

The man upon the bike spoke only this sentence, not directed at the refugees in the camp, but intended solely for Night. As a lawman, it was expected that the situation was under his supervision, and any time spent trying to gether information that can be readily obtained through an available source was simply time wasted.

Night nodded as he approached the biker, stopping about five feet from him and heard his words. Even with the visor, he knew the words were addressed to him, and as he had neared the man, he felt like he was being studied

"As a matter of fact, I do. I need to get into the stadium, but the entrances have collapsed. So I need to get to a place where I can get a 'key' for this sort of thing."
