Ruby came back in the kitchen, to finish the dumplings. The cake was already out on the table, and she knew gran would give her trouble because it might have burned.

Anc followed, realzing through previous meetings with Ruby's grandmother, that it's best to not hide anything: He was in his full hieght and the shades he wore in presence of people were gone, revealing his gently glowing gold eyes.

Gran nodded at Anc, "Mr. Neldaris, it's mighty fine to see you again, young man, though I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out with you and Ruby. I guess it just wasn't meant to be."
Gran looked behind Anc and gaped, seeing Seth in his demon form. "Satan incarnate!" She shrieked.

"I will not hear your words Demon!" Gran held up her silver cross, her old hands shaking slightly. "Begone from this place."
Ruby stood up "Gran, that's the boss."
"Quiet Rebbeca Jo, do not be swayed by the influence of evil. Stand behind me, I will protect you."

Ruby glanced over to Miran and whispered, "Gran's come to visit and she thinks Arch is a saint, and Seth is Satan....and I think she's trying to excorsize our boss from the HQ."

Ruby rolled her eyes and pointed to Seth's horns/claws/blackwings...etc....
Gran stared at Seth She grabbed some table salt and spread it in a wide circle. "Into the circle Rebbeca Jo. It will protect us."
Ruby shrugged and walked into the circle. "Gran, he's not Satan, he's a former hero, just like us....just a little bit more 'former' than the rest of us." She added at the side of her mouth.

Stares at Seth and sighs. "...Seth what on earth gave you that bright idea?" He asks seth outloud and then shakes his head and leans against a nearby wall. "Honestly..."HE mutters to himself.

*extremely amused, he changes to his human form his wings, claw, and horns asorbe into his body as his eyes change from orange to gray, and he simply places one foot on the salt and breaks the cirlce by sliding his foot back*
What a pathetic excuse for a magic circle.........Ruby I think your grandmother has seen those foolish exorcism movies too many times......

Ruby shrugged, holding Gran back, as she tried to attack Seth. "Give me some time, Sug, and I'll have her calmed down. Oh, and cake and dumplin's on the stove, help yourself, Sug."
