"Right," Jack said. "Hey, Harry! Hand me my guitar, will ya?" One of the men grabbed the guitar and tossed it to him. Jack flipped a switch on the electric guitar and then held it steady. Soon, he took out a pick and began to gently pick the guitar strings. However, he knew it would grow harder. Everyone instantly knew what song he was playing: The Diary of Jane.

Astarte moved her foot to the beat. She laughed at thesheer wonder of being in a subway in New York, listening to her lovers band. "What a pretty song."

"Oddly enough," Jack said. "Minus those parts when I screamed."
He looked over at the guys and gave them a thumbsup. They simply gave him a jokingly dirty look. He rose an eyebrow.
"What?"
"We're trying to figure out why your the one with the girlfriend."
"Ah shut up!" Jack replied, trying to keep himself from laughing.

She stood up and walked over to them. She smirked at the guys and flashed them a quick look at her fangs.

"Like I said, she'd suck you dry!" Jack replied with a grin. "Next song... shall we? One or two more for the night?" The members nodded, now a bit nervous. Jack closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He heard a chanting sound in his mind. Soon, he struck a single chord with the bass. His next song... another one he liked: Blow Me Away.

Astarte began to dance with the song. She was dancing alone, but good. She did her famous moves. She looked over at Jack with intense eyes, seducting the band. She smirked.

Jack almost lost his concentration when Astarte began to dance. The whole band almost lost it. When they finished, Jack laughed quietly.
"Well... now we know one thing that could possibly distract us during a performance," he said, his face red.

Astarte stopped as they did, she laughed hysterically when she saw their red faces. "Oh man, you should see how you guys look right now!"

"Not exactly necessary," Jack replied.
Jack looked at the band. He discussed which song he'd go over with them. They soon decided in a matter of seconds.
"Last one tonight?" Jack asked Astarte.

"Friend of mine," Jack said almost instantly. Jack set up the guitar. He took in a deep breath. This song was a bit different. Unlike the others... it became a hard song right away on the first note. So was the melody of Firefly.

Instead of dancing, this time she stood perfectly still, she closed her eyes. She smiled, this was her favourite song so far.

Jack let out a small cheer.
"Great job guys. Yo, I'll see you later, all right?"
Jack gave them a wave as he held the guitar and put it down. He walked over and wrapped an arm around Astarte. He kissed her as they began to leave.
"Where to?"
