Remmy took a few minutes to sit up and then walked slowly to the door, looking out she saw that Nia had come with a friend, who looked about to freeze! Her heater was on in the living room so the girl would be warm. She almost flung the door open. "Come in, come in. Just take your shoes off before you go into the living room please." she said.

thanks... c'mon Bren ::showing more gentleness with Bren than Remmy would have seen from her, she leads her friend into the house, pausing so they could take off their shoes then into the livingroom:: you have a few blankets?

Remmy nodded. "Let me go get them really quickly." She went to the bedroom and pulled out several of her thick wool blankets. She came back out and handed them to Nia. "I have more if Bren needs them. I'm Remmy by the way." she said to Brenna.

She follows Nia in giving a small smile to Remmy while still chattering and starts to gaze around at the inside of the house.

::taking the blanekts from Remmy, she wraps them around Bren and tucks the corners under her as though tucking in a small child then puts her hands on Bren's cheeks:: any better?

She closes her eyes for a few seconds savoring the warmth before opening them and beaming at Nia brightly "I feel much better!" She looks at Remmy timidly and a little nervously "Thank you.. sorry to be so much trouble and nice to meet you Remmy I'm Brenna!" Then ducked her head in embarresment

Remmy shook her head. "No problem at all, it's nice to meet you. Would either of you like rose tea? Or any kind of tea, since I probably have it or can make it." she said, shaking her head. She actually had lots of tea that was good for people who were cold all the time. I hate to see what she's like in winter, poor thing. She hadn't noticed Nia's clothing yet.

whatever you've got would be great, so long as it's warm... ::sitting on the couch beside Bren, wrapping her arms around her both to keep her warm and to keep her safe... or at least give her the comfort of knowing she's safe::

She snuggled into Nia's embrace.. and extra warmth. It did help her feel better about being in a strange house "Tea would be nice... whatever is conveinent.. I don't want to cause any trouble!"

"Alright then." Remmy went into the kitchen and found a jar with her warming herbs in it. They were fresher than she usually would use since she didn't need them until winter but she scooped some out and into a tea pot, putting water in it and then putting it on the stove to boil. "I've got some fresh blueberry muffins in here if you guys want them, they are still pretty warm." She had only been laying down for about two minutes when Nia had knocked on the door, or rang the doorbell, or whatever she had done since Remmy had been to tired to rememeber. It was a good thing she'd stashed her outfit.

She smiled and nodded "Yeah muffins sound good!" Of course Brenna adored any kind of baked good... but blueberry muffins happened to be one of her favorites! She looked at Nia "I should've brought something so your friend didn't have to prepare anything! I'm inconsiderate!" She started going down her self-reprimanding road that Nia knew she tended to do when she felt she didn't meet the standards she felt she needed to live up to!

::because Nia's hands are positioned in Bren's line of sight, she can see the small sparks that flicker at the tips as Nia reconigizes what's about to happen:: you don't even know Remmy, you don't have to be considerate. besides, i dropped the visit on both of you. you just stay warm, kay? and DON'T do that to yourself! or i'll have to scorch ya! ::this last said jokingly, since they both knew her temper flames wouldn't hurt Bren. another reason she was so important to Nia:: i'm gonna go help Remmy

Remmy came in with three tea cups and her muffins balanced on a tray, along with the tea fixings. "Don't trouble yourself about it, I've always got herbs ready for tea and I bake things all the time. The blueberries were even homegrown. I like to cook and garden so don't worry about it, I'm glad I have guests to prepare food for." she said, smiling warmly. She'd have cooked them breakfast if they'd asked her too. She was pretty outgoing and it didn't ever bother her to do things for others.

She figeted and nodded finnaly "Sorry... and you do? I LOVE baking and cooking!!! It's one of my favorite things!!" She smiled at Remmy... the first smile she had given that didn't have nervousness behind it.
