Bert placed a hand on her cheek as she slept. He wanted to see her well so he decided not to disturb her sleep. As the hours went on Bert also became tired and he laid his head on Kaori's bed and went to sleep.

Kaori woke up the next morning with a headache and saw that Bert stayed with her all night. She very gently moved his head and got up to make him something special for breakfast. She tip-toed down the stairs and walked to the fridge and began to get out ingredients.

Bert yawned as he saw Kaori was out of bed. He then hurried downstairs and said "You all right Kaori?"

"Oh, yeah I am fine, I didn't mean to startle you. I just wanted to make you something special." She said cracking eggs into a bowl.

"Smells good, looks like you got a good cook on your hand Bert." Dart said from behind him, seemingly coming from nowhere.

"Whoa." She said turning to see Dart and accidentally slamming an egg on to the counter. "Where do you come from?" She asked sarcastically cleaning up the egg.

"Lets just hope it tastes as good as it smells." She said sniffing it. "Normally I can't cook either but I can smell better now so I know what smells good together and they say that smell and taste are about the same." She said finishing off their breakfast. "There!, Done." she said lying it on the counter. "Dish up."
