"The life of one who is no longer alive is worth as much to you as your own young life?" She put her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Would Camthalion have wanted you to put yourself in grave danger...for a corpse?"
She withdrew her hand suddenly, shook her head and backed against the wall. She put her palm to her forehead, now clammy with a sudden onset of cold sweat, and closed her eyes, breathing heavily.
"I'm...I'm sorry. It wasn't my place to judge...to say..."

The thought of Camthalion being nothing but a "corpse" was offensive to her, but she knew that she had a point.. Camthalion would not have wanted Yousei to risk her life for him, but she was also certain that he would not want to rot in a place like this...
Yousei looked up as Julianna apologized, and replied, "It's all right. You were only trying to talk some sense into me, but I know what I must do. I cannot leave him here, in this place.. Surrounded by his murderers.. And if I were to die here, I'm certain that I would want my friends to do the same for me."
She smiled and looked to the corridor that was now completely void of soldiers. There was no one to stop them from continuing their search for Camthalion's murderers. Yousei turned back to face Julianna and smiled once more, "We should go while we still can."
(Sorry, but I think I'm gonna have to make this my last post for the night... I'll be back on tomorrow, though, if I can! Goodnight, Bunny!)

Aeronwy quietly listened in on the conversation. So that's why we are going through all this trouble. Still seems kinda pointless to me though...
"So, uh, what exactly are we looking for again? It would help to have a description."

Witium turned his head as he heard Julianna's remark about Camthalion being nothing but a corpse, "Humans have no respect for the dead." He shook his head in fustration as he made his way down a second corridor. All the while he mumbled to himself, "I'll put you in a worthy grave Camthalion." The elf patted his dead friend and moved on. After walking away from the group for a couple minutes there seemed to be a rather large hole in the ceiling, "Hmm, better take a closer look." Clearly it seemed that the hole went through all the floors above it and below, "Whoa...that's weird."
Quickly he ran back to his friends and pointed to where they were headed, "I think we might have to deal with something big soon. Maybe another dragon."
Sagor looked to Kraid confused, "I'm surprised you didn't kill her while i was dead Kraid, guess your losin your touch." He yawned and stretched his legs, "So, where is the little elf girl these days anyway?"

"About two floors down," Kraid spoke to Sagor, glancing to the door on the opposite end of the room.
Miles looked to Yousei and grinned, "You've got to stop scaring me like that. He placed his arms around Yousei's shoulders and supported himself with the boomerang under his armpit. He placed his head on her shoulder as he listened to Julianna. When she'd finished he lifted and shook his head. "We didn't come here to retreive the body. That wasn't the plan. Happened to work out. We came to destroy the cult," He corrected her, holding out an open palm. A small flick of fire turned into a small version of a large city much like the one they where in. He moved his index finger slightly and the firey buildings collapsed.

"Ah. That makes much more sense then. Where shall we start?" Aeronwy asked. "And who do we need to kill to make this cult collapse? Or do we just wipe them all out?" Aeronwy sincerely hoped it was the last one.

The Brother-Leader smirked at Kraid's response. Yes they were two floors down, but he knew his armies had been defeated, especially with the newcomers entering last minute. Again, he wasn't worried.
"Before jumping from your seat and charging head on, we need to formulate a strategy to defeat them. The company has grown much stronger since then, and we must be mindful of our current actions. I have a plan thought out that will guarantee our victory. But before I say, let me introduce you to my second in command, Ju-Hades."
Through the large orange double doors enter a rather weak and frail man who looked much like a priest from the humanlands. His white garments certain made him appear to be priestly, except two key features. He appeared to be very young and had white hair, and his smile was the length of his entire face, the length of the devil himself.
"Hello, gentleman." His voice was unnaturally high for someone so young.

Sagor winced at the high pitched voice and picked his ear, "Gah...how annoying." He turned to see where it came from. The giant binked a couple times before looking back at the brother-leader, "THIS is your second in command...you must be running out of good help huh?" The giatn turned again to examine the frail human, "I hope there's something special to you, little one."

"Oh. Is that what you think, half-giant. My purpose primarily is to heal, as I am a priest. But, seeing that I am working for the Brother-Leader, you should not assume anything."
In a flash of light, he had vanished and appeared on the giants head with a kodachi leveled with his throat. His already extreme grin grew even more, as if he was getting pure enjoyment of showing off the half giant his powers. "Again, do not underestimate me. I would have pierced his kodachi into your throat with ease if I wanted to." He removed the sword from his throat, which was trickling blood.

Sagor touched his neck, wiping the blood from his neck, "A healer huh, that'll be a plus." He looked to his hand and quickly tensed his entire body as he made a fist. Purple sparks radiated from his body constantly and if the Priest were still touching him he'd feel a very shocking surprise.
The Half-giant turned to the Brother-leader, "So...whats this plan of yours? Hit them until they stop screaming, I always try that one."

"A healer would be helpful," Kraid began calmly. "Except the fact that I cannot die and my partner can fight through the pain of muscles bursting from the bone," He finished, growling. "A healer would slow us down"

No! That is no longer the case. If my assumption is correct, they will soon be going through the Dragonlands, and if that is so, even a Shadowed can be hurt. The aura of that region is much different from what we are accustomed to. This will also effect the company, except for Seg and Yousei's dragon.
However, this is why I am bringing you Ju-Hades, Kraid. He has been trained for this occassion. Through his priestly training and his kodachi fighting, he has perfected an art that will tend to your wounds with every touch of his sword. On anything, might I add. Not just humans or elves, but dragons. Unless Ju-Hades loses his kodachi or his body is mutilated, he can not be defeated in the Dragonlands. Do you understand?
As for your question, Sagor, that is up to you three to decide. Kraid is a much greater strategist than I, and I still have a cult that needs to get their hands on more elves. Ever since we killed the old one, the cult has been demanding more execution of elven lives. I must obey as the Brother-Leader's duty. Good luck, my brethren.
With those final words, the brother leader vanished, leaving his empty chair and desk behind.
