Asher just grinned wickedly as he was pushed out, before he chuckled and walked a little ways down the hallway.
Julianna was in her room, seated and practicing her violin. He puased outside the door to listen.
Alexis giggled and tugged at little at her dad's hand, trying to reach for anything she could get her free hand on and got nothing but water as she'd slip and catch herself from falling, with her daddy's help.

Jay smiled at Alexis and took her out first, wrapping her in a fluffy pink towel and then took Joshua out. He sat cross legged on the fluffy white bathmat and towelled both of them dry, making sure they were totally dry before he put their diapers on and dressed them--he dressed Alexis in a pink pajama set and Joshua in a blue one, which consisted of a long sleeved top with white and blue/pink striped arms and a pair of plain blue/pink trousers.
He placed them back in the pen and put a few of the bath toys in with them, so he could shower and make sure they were occupied. He didn'tt ake more than ten minutes in the shower as he was feeling a bit uneasy about letting them out of his sight. Luckily, Joshua had settled with shaking a rattle relentlessly for enjoyment.
The paint came out his hair easily and he sat on the stool that face a sort of large retangle hole in the wall. It had some of Jay's things on it--mainly straighteners, hairdryer and a few hair care products and some moisturisers and lotions.
He blow dried his hair while watching hsi children play and opted to tie it into a high ponytail using a white ribbon. He wore gray faded jeans that were ripped at the thighs and frayed at the bottom of the legs, a belt with a large skull buckle and a white tightfitting tanktop with attached armwarmers--attached using leather strips--he picked the twins up and coddling them a little left the bathroom.

Alexis snuggled in her daddy's arms, nuzzling him and gripping the shirt as much as she could. She reached back for his hair but settled for grabbing her brother's foot and holding onto it, cooing softly with her pacifier in mouth from when it was in the playpen.
She suckled away at the pacifier, occassionally giving her daddy a dimpled smile.

Jay smiled at Alexis and looking to Joshua, chuckled when he saw the tot was drifting off, his little head leaning against Jay's shoulder and his hands gripping Jay's shirt, just like his sister was. He looked around for Asher and Raven, as Alexis didn't look sleepy, but decided it best if he looked after her for a bit.
"c'mon Alex, time for a nap" he murmured happily, going into his own room and lying the twins on the bed. He'd had a bed guard installed on the side facing away from the wall. As he had been prone to nightmares and falling off the bed after he had come back from the Sanctuary. He crawled on the bed with her and lay down, Alexis next to him and Joshua next to her, now fast asleep.

Alexis just grinned, giggled and made those happy baby sounds as she snuggled close to daddy, no way tired even after the nice bath. She would sit up and start crawling about on the bed.

Jay sighed and grabbed Alexis when she attempted to crawl away from him. He hugged her close to his chest, whispering soothing sounds in her ear.
"c'mon Lexis, daddy's tired" he mumbled, cracking his pale grey eyes open to study his daughter.

She smiled sweetly. Her activeness was really when she was tired and she was fighting sleep.
She reached over to play with Daddy's face.

"Lexis.." Jay grumbled when her playing with his face snatched his sleep away again. He rolled his eyes and then opened them once again, rolling onto his back he let ALexis lie on his stomach, his hand running through her wispy hair.
"go to sleep little love" he murmured tiredly.

Alexis cooed, still fighting sleep.
Peu de lexi, go to sleep for your father, jeune dame. fluttered her little mind and rather then fight that, she curled up with her dad and closed her eyes.

Jay smiled and waited for her to sleep, before he shifted her to sleep next to Joshua, who was sleeping soundly. He carefully crawled off the bed so he wouldn't wake them and switching the sound monitor on, clipped the other reciever onto his belt. He had to pull another all nighter to replace his ruined project.
'ah well, kids will be kids...' Jay thought with a grin and shutting the door softly, he went downstairs and shut himself in the studio. Cleaning it up and staring at another blank canvas, fishing for inspiration.

Asher opened the studio door to poke his head in. "Aye kids will be kids..."
He spoke softly as he entered a bit and looked to the blank canvas. "What's the theme?"

"I have no idea...I never repaint old work..." Jay whined, resting his head on the canvas with a sigh. He was blocking and the assignment was due in on Friday. He slouched down so he lay on his front on the floor and shut his eyes with another sigh.

"Here's an idea....why not paint the twins? Or Joshua covered in green paint?"
He settled down beside him and looked at him, occassionally glancing at the blank canvas.

"that's got nothing to do with emotions Asher" Jay mumbled from where he had buried his head in his arms. He hated blocks they frustrated him, he ruffled his hair, the long silvery-blonde strands falling freely around his back like a sea of white gold.
