((I'm sure Gazali thinks so whee ))
"Oh, yes. Very transparent, I can see right through you," Gazali said, sarcasticness just showing through, he shrugged though, trying to make it seem as if he didn't care, when the curiosity was tearing at his brain, as if trying to escape through the back of his eyeballs. That, in itself, would be rather unpleasant, so perhaps he should stop thinking that way.

"Ask any questions you may have, and I'll do my best to answer, Gazali-san. I have nothing to hide," Seishirou smiled that distinctly distint smile. "After all-- I'm merely attempting to assist you."
For now. Seishirou had his plans, yes. But it took one step at a time... and then Gazali would meet Sakura-san in truth, one way or another...

((Aha! I found it u.u))
Gazali didn't know what he wanted to ask. The questions were there, he just wasn't sure how to word them. He crossed his arms, almost protectively, for whatever reason, "Why did you offer to 'assist' me? Not many people would care if some random demon got lost for a bit."

Seishirou laughed. "I was planning on going out anyway, and you intrigued me, Gazali-san. On top of which, I'm rather helpful by nature." It wasn't a complete lie... it just wasn't the complete truth either.

((Eeek, sorry to be here at the same time, dearies. Hope this doesn't get confuzzling for raven xp ))
At least the majority of uncomfortable feelings associated with this place were beginning to dim. They'd been here for a long time now, the surprise of things wasn't so... potent. There was time to lean back and smell flowers again, which had admittedly distracted Tsuzuki a tad on the way to the Nest though he had rather quickly (by his own estimation) gotten himself back on track.
Strange to have a 'mission' again though. Familiarity with this place had grown, but maybe not that much. Or maybe he was just disinclined to work again. An equally valid and highly probable hypthesis. Not given much to thinking too hard about work, even if it was thinking about avoiding it, Tsuzuki knocked on the door.

((It's unlikely to be confusing for me, as long as you two can keep it straight. xd )) Tatsumi opened the door without looking up from his notes, motioning for Tsuzuki to follow him through the halls and into the Conference Room. "I need you to bring your partner down here-- he's upset about something in his room, and I'm certain you'd rather deal with him than have me do so," Tatsumi informed the wolf curtly. "Bring him here and I'll explain what this is all about, since this is mainly to do with what he's upset about."

"Wait--Hisoka's the mission?" Tsuzuki interjected in the middle of the explanation, though Tatsumi, apparently well practiced with this sort of interruption, merely continued.
Okay. So the mission was already bothering Hisoka, which suggested it had to do with... well, anything. The kid was just touchy like that--not without good reason of course, but he was still a good deal more sensitive than Tsuzuki and not just emotionally. Perhaps a better way of putting it would be especially emotionally considering... Hisoka's empathy...
Subconsciously noting to himself that Hisoka's room was not synonymous with the Conference Room, he headed off in the general direction he supposed it to be in, inflicting neither complaint nor further comment on Tatsumi's easily irritated ears.
Surprisingly (to himself), he managed to find the room with little trouble. Things really were becoming familiar around here, weren't they? "'soka~, it's me~"

"I intrigued you?" Gazali wasn't used to being called interesting, or intriguing, or anything of the sort, but he was quickly getting used to it, even if he didn't understand why one would think that, "Helpful by nature? I suppose that's a good thing," And I'm not too sure I completely belive that.

Seishirou laughed. "You sound disbelieving, Gazali-san. Yes, you intrigued me-- and I have a tendency to assist others when it seems the fitting step to take," the Sakurazukamori explained. "After all, no good deed goes overlooked."

"No, I guess it doesn't," Gazali's eyes narroed a little, but not so much in a suspicious way. "Suppose I should thankyou, and ask you whether you had anything in mind as a means for me to repay you for your act of...kindness?"

"Nothing except the pleasure of your company," Seishirou smiled. "Perhaps you would consent to meet me once in a while? I fear that although the characters at the Nest are many, we tend to feel the need to meet with others we aren't so... close to."

Hisoka burrowed deeper into the disheveled blankets on his bed. He didn't want to deal with anyone right now-- especially not Tsuzuki, who would be far too sympathetic.
The kitten could still hear the screams of the already dead as their souls were swallowed by that fiery beast... could still feel the fear and pain and rage as they were torn from their bleak semblance of existance and allowed a brief stint in the world of the living before they were devoured in fire...

A creeping fear of Tatsumi being wrong (which went against most laws of the Universe--well, sometimes it did, sometimes the grump was just wrong) tucked itself into the corners of Tsuzuki's mind. He rested a hand against the door, leaning against it in hopes of hearing movement. Hisoka was in the room, right?
Then again, non-response wasn't that odd. He could just be sleeping. Knocking, "We've got work."

Work. Great. One of the last things he wanted to even think about right now. Not talking to Tsuzuki would worry the wolf-- talking to him would be an invitation. Lose-lose.

That had been... the sound of silence. Which meant nothing. He might be talking to an empty room for all the response he was getting. Ugh.
"There'll be coffee?"
