I don't hate people that like Cloud and Aeris as a couple, I hate people that come up with BS argument to say that there cannon.

For instance Claeris like to use the "Destiny Fulfilled" site as proof to make their couple cannon. The site basically says that Cloud and Aeris are the cannon couple because of 'Japanese Symbolism.' That's completely stupid since SE has never stated that FF7 was simplistic in any way, not to mention that there is nothing on that site can be backed up by SE. So none of it can be considered proof.

Also when Claeris do chose to use actual SE material they only use what they want and forget the rest.

For instance, you claeris say "After Berret left Cloud and Tifa's relationship fell apart." Wrong! Cloud and Tifa lived happily together for several months (several meaning seven or more) before he started feeling guilty. In all that time he never thought about Aeris once. Only when he got flowers from Aeris foster mother did he start feel guilty.


It's been several months since they opened the bar. There was a call from Cloud who went to collect their supply of ingredients. He wanted to discuss the privilege of how much one person could eat and drink for free during their lifetime at Seventh Heaven.

Here is another one "In The Maiden Aeris said that she loved Cloud and not Zack" Yes she does say this and no one is saying that she didn't, but I guess it's just convenient for Cleris to forget that she ends up contradicting herself near the end.


In truth, Aerith really wanted to do it herself. But she couldn't carry out the task. That's why she entrusted Tifa with it. She entrusted Tifa with all the feelings she had for Cloud in her heart. She entrusted them to the one that was going to "live" together with Cloud...

And so, Tifa accomplished the task. Collating her own memories with that of Cloud's, she looked for the things that only the real Cloud could know. Proofing it all, the closed door was opened. Not leaving Soldier allowed Jenova's power that was implanted in Cloud to copy the Soldier traits of his close friend, Zacks. Drawing out the deep memories that were firmly clammed up inside all of that, she reconstructed his original character instead of the fake character he created to protect himself.

"You did it, Tifa. Thank you... I'm a little jealous of you but, do take care of Cloud and the upper world."


Aeris herself has given her blessing to Cloud and Tifa and notes how "live" is emphasized by quotations.


Tifa embraced Cloud tightly as he returned to his senses. Aerith watched as both of them returned to the surface while smiling like an affectionate mother.


And here is one more "Cloud and Tifa were not childhood friends." Well, then I guess the people at SE have been lying to everyone since it's stated in both the FF7 booklet and the Reunion Files, that Cloud and Tif were in fact friends.

Anyway I could name more examples but then I would be writing forever, the point of this whole rant is that all of you claeris have given nothing but weak, twisted, and over-analyzed arguments and proof to support your so called cannon couple. If you're going to say something then make sure you have proof from the actual source.

Oh and one more thing. I will continue to come back here as long as Pink or any other Cleris continues to violate my thread. It seems that people from this thread only post in our thread when we say something rude but you don't see me going in you're thread every time you guys are rude. That's called trolling and it's not allowed. Also please don't talk about Clotif's being rude when people on this thread have been just as rude in the past. That's like the pot calling the kettle black.

Well' I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from Lutearina and you're right two wrongs don't make a right. I just get pissed because this is like the 5th time I have had to come here, telling her to stop trolling my thread. Anyway I'll just let this die and take my leave and again thank you for understanding.
