Amberpelt quickly caught a thrush and another squirrel before heading back, dropping the thrush and vole on the fresh-kill pile and keeping the squirrel for herself.

some time later dewdrop came back into camp holding a vole, a mouse, a shrew and the squirrel that amberpelt gave her earlier. she dropped the mouse and the squirrel and the shrew on the fresh kill pile and took the vole to a clear spot and started chewing.

Amberpelt was already there, and peered up at Dewdrop from her fresh-kill. "Nice catch," she complimented. "The prey's been running well, I can see."

"thanks and yes i know they were really easy to catch especially the vole" she said looking down at it while sitting on her haunches.

"ok" she walked over to her den and layed down on the soft clump of moss and closed her eyes.
