Lacuna smiled and waved to Jakkin she joined them at the table and smiled at the familiar face from the other night.
"Hello", she said to Ophelia taking a seat at the table.

She shook her head lightly.
"It's not that. I just . . . I mean, I know I'm decent looking, but I seem so completely drawn to people that are going to hurt me, people I KNOW will probably hurt me. I'm a fixer. There have only been two or three exceptions to this my whole life. You, Rohan . . ."
She turned her eyes down to her coffe, choking on his name.
" . . . . and a nother guy."
She noted the approaching figures with apprehension. It was only Jak and Akki and another person, but she hated crowds. They made her feel like running. Like she was gettign lost.
"But, unfortunately, we'll have to finish this iscussion another time."
She picked up her coffee and stood, starting to slip off.

"Oh, no you dont!" Jak grabbed hold of her hand as she tried to slip past. "Please stay and sit with us."
Akki grinned as she reached the table and saw Ophelia there. "Hi! I was hoping to see you again. You should come back to the bookstore sometime."
Jak ruffled Akki's hair affectionately before turning to Lacuna. "Hi there cutie, feeling better today?"

Lacuna raised an eyebrow at Opehlia. She seemed to be in a hurry. She sipped her coffee quietly trying not to say the wrong thing, she had a knack for that.
She smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'm so sorry about last night.. I just.. She glanced at Ophelia and got quiet starring in her cup.

Phelia looked down at her hand as if it were a foreign object, then at the assembled. She blushed hard, and felt like squirming away, but sat, a little heavier than she meant to. She looked up at Akki, feeling awkward, especially after the daggers Lacuna had been staring at her the other night, and nodded, mumbling, simply,
"I think I'd like that."

Mikey noticed that the girl that had been sitting with Jakkin try to leave as two more arrived, he decided that it probably wasn't the best time to try to talk to him, so with this thought he carefully tore the picture he'd been drawing from his sketchbook and scribbled something down on the corner of the page, he stuffed his book back in his bag and stood from the couch. He put his bag over his shoulder and started toward the table where the group sat, picture in hand.

Jak watched regretfully as Mikey got up to leave...maybe another time...his eyes following him curiously as he moved towards the table

Ophlia nodded to Lacuna, politely, but didn't speak, her throat firmly closed. She took a drink of her coffee, hoping it woul clear up the problem, at least a little. It didn't. She only suceeded in burning her tongue and making her hangover worse from fighting pain tears out of her expression.
When she looked up and saw the other boy coming over, she whined lightly. ANOTHER one?! She felt like she would sink through the floor. Still, maybe this would be her chance to slip away from JAk. He didn't understand. Akki would. Maybe.

Lacuna sipped her coffee. She felt a little uncomfortable around Ophelia and Mikey, but she shrugged it off, or atleast tried to, she hated the way she had acted at the bar the other day. She looked at Akki with that 'I'm-Trying' look.

As Mikey reached the table he held the picture out to Jakkin, it was a sketch of him with a border of spiderwebs drawn around the edge of the paper in one of the corners, scribbled over the spiderweb was an address, barely readable unless you were paying attention. He smiled to Jakkin and waited for him to accept the picture.

Noting the pause in action while the boy waited for Jak to accept the paper, Ophelia stood up, a little too quick, and nearly spilled her coffee all over herself
"I should go. I have like things . . . yeah. Sorry, Akki, Jak. Nice to meet you."
She nodded to Lacuna and slipped away fromt he table, quickly, and out.
((I really do have to go, I have to call my boyfriend, but I'll be back.))

Jak accepted the drawing, studying it closely before putting it in his pocket. "Thanks, gorgeous," winking at Mikey, he smiled back.
