The music stopping threw her off for a second and she just stopped in the middle of her walk and tried to listen for it. It then began again and she started to follow it through the house.

She finally made her way to the basement door and raised her eyebrow. The music was coming from the basement and she opened it so she could start her decent down the steps.

*he continued as she walked down the steps. he sniffed and smelled her coming. quickly he put his gitaur away, hoping she didn't see it. he didn't want her to hear the song until it was finished*

By the time she reached the bottom step and he was in her sight, she hadn't caught anything. She just seen him and looked around. A look of confusion on her face. She was sure she heard music, but there was nothing that could have made it.

Mari raised her eyebrow at him in confusion and pointed at him. "Were you.. Playing music or something?"

For some reason she had this feeling he was playing dumb with her and she just gave him a small glare. "What kind of things?"

well uh..
*he turned around to reach for something but stumbled and knocked over the gitaur. it let out a noise as it fell and all her could do was stand still as his teeth gritted nervously*

Mari walked over and picked up the guitar, looking at it. "I never knew you had a guitar..." She held it in both hands and strummed it a bit curiously with her right.

Her face was filled with surprise and she held the guitar out to him. Still having the smile on her face. She didn't think he hid it from her because he wanted to surprise her, but that he hid it because he was embarrassed. "You didn't have to hide this from me, silly. I don't care if you enjoy playing an instrument."
