I field Cadians, whom are not reknown for their use of Abhumans. Besides, the Ratling and Ogryn models are soo bloody dated.
Besides, best thing of the "weak" mortar and sniper rifle is that they can pin.

Everything has a use depending on whata IG you play I suppose, personally I want to try a Deathworld Vet force with IG, I'm still looking for a clarification on how you can use them combined. ((As in Catachan Snipers with a nice Leman Russ fielded together, A guy working at GW said all I needed to do was to field any and all Troops choices for Death World as Elites to get it. I do wan t some extra confirmnation on this.

Try downloading the Catachan codex from the GW site, it has the proper clarifications on how to field a mixed army of death world veterans and normal guard choices. and if you have down loaded the catachan codex you will notice it says to use catachans in a regular guard army USE the doctrines.

Dubyamn What reason is there for hating the Ratling models? I mean I took one look at them and I just fell in love. The are hobbits with guns. How could you not love having 10 hobbits with sniper rifles on the battlefield? ratlings are cool and all but the Gw or Forge world needs to make a better model of them because they look a little wimpy and it looks like they have p shooters

I like them, its about time we see different creatures in the 40k universe, adds diversity and makes it seem more real.

It's what the converted models in White Dwarf 263 are based upon. Only minor greenstuff sculpting was used.

It's what the converted models in White Dwarf 263 are based upon. Only minor greenstuff sculpting was used. All you really need to do is to sculpt skulls onto their masks, like in the Armageddon Codex. Or you could just paint them Krieg colours: grey and black. I just wish Steel Legion models were cheaper. rolleyes

Forge World will most likely be doing Death korps resin models sometime this millennium. Trust me, I'm pretty damn sure about it.
And on those Mukaali riders, they are neat. I even like the steeds, the big mix between an elephant and camel that they are. I mean, people were begging for other mounts then horses, FW presents the Mukaali and all of the sudden everything is wrong again? xp What do we want next? The moon on a stick!
Anyway, GW should really get started on another plastics regiment as soon as they are done with the Orkses. The Valhallans have been dropped alot around the internet, so no surprises if this year we'll get to see green stuff mock ups of them.

Rumor holds they are GW but pictures suggest FW as the models appear to be resin not plastic...
