Kalnar gave Gunther a gentle pat on the shoulder, and turned his attention to Aurora. "I have trained the boy since he was young, and I forsee that he'll be a fine knight,"
Gunther gave a slight blush as Aurora ruffled his hair, and gave a bow in response. "I'll do my best to be careful," he stated.
"Given the disarray the Order is in, I cannot guarantee speedy results," Kalnar chimed in. "Still, we shall attempt to uncover what we can,"
Gunther looked behind, though his father's casket was now out of sight. A lone tear escaped his eye, which he wiped. "To honor father's memory, I shall do my best to live up to the prediction Master Kalnar has spoken,"

Freya then walked over to her brother, with Rusty in tow. As she lifted the dark veil she donned for the occasion, her eyes reflected deep sorrow, to be sure. But, again, there was determination.
"Don't you, like, totally die on me too ... okay?" Freya sighed, before wrapping the padawan in a clinging bear hug.
Gunther reciprocated the embrace. "I shall be fine, my sister." he said. "To that end, I shall become a Jedi Knight, and strive to bring the light where darkness reigns,"

((Sounds Great))

Iust had his chance, now was the time to punish this scum. Walking over to the fallen Derith, Iust placed his foot upon the fallen man's chest and placed one of his blasters on the man's head.

"I am the harbinger of death to the wicked, the cries of the innocent reach my ears and they cry for justice, you who have committed grave crimes against humanity shall now feel the wrath of the righteous, I am the angel of death," was all Iust said before he shot Derith.

"One could say that." Link told the reptiloid. "But this one will reserve judgement until all information is aquired. You still have not explained why a hanger wall was completel destroyed, or how that chiss over there recieved his grievious wounds. And is that not the information that had been requested?"

Link began compiling the information both parties gave him anyway. Unknown alien race encounters militaristic known race. A mistake of first contact. But how much truth lie in their words? And what of the Chiss leader here. How much does he know of this incident?

(( Pretty good. Now, for some "Good cop, bad cop" action. Gets some g'd dramatic kinda things going. 3nodding ))

The child ran deeper into the alley, as her assailant was summarily executed.
As the dark man did his grim business, Iria went to check on her. "Are you allright?" she queried the innocent, in as kindly a manner as she could muster.
"Go away!" cried the child, in shock of the scene she'd witnessed.
Iria turned back, and then to the child. "Listen, dear: the bad man is gone." she said. "He won't hurt you - or anyone else - anymore,"
"B-b-but! What about him?" the child cried, pointing to the black armored man.
Iria frowned. You have a point, my young friend, as he employs extreme methods, "I don't think he's a bad guy," she replied. Though she'd heard the "Harbinger of Death" speech, she had an understanding of his methods. Still, to her, he could have at least waited until the child could not have seen it. The poor dear may have nightmares because of this! What were you thinking?! she mused, casting a disapproving glare at the man.
Still, as Iria looked to the frightened child, she softened her expression. "Will you be allright?"
"I ... I think so," came the sobbing reply.
"We should take the little one to her parents," Iria said. "Failing that, we go to the appropriate authorities."

((It didn't sound like you were speaking to me. You kind of skimped out on the details, and it sounded like you assumed it was granted. I thought you went planetside already, since you were talking to Bestine. they have their own clearance. Who says I have the authority to land you? Plus, that's what customs are for, not a random ISD in space. If you want to interact with me, pull a lightsaber on Ferno. Otherwise there's little for you and I to really interact with.))

Ferno sat watching the vidscreen. Apparantly Krayt was not pleased with the results of Ferno's audacity on Naboo. Talon stood behind and right of him, a most foul visage of scorn presented.

The task for Ferno was to report to Coruscant. Talon acted like a child, in his opinion. By besting one of his personal hands and knocking her out, he had left open the chance a Sith had committed the murder. And for this, he was to prove himseslf otherwise. But more than that, Talon's impulsiveness had driven her to seek a duel between him and her. She wanted revenge, and a chance to redeem herself to her master, as all servants do.

The Slayer made preparations to jump, and in several hours, after stopping in on Borleias, Ferno would accept the challenge, while demonstrating his first in a series of deadlier weapons.

Holstering his blasters, Iust mulled over his options for a few seconds. He saw the way the child clung to the Imperial Knight. Hiding herself as best she could from him. He had heard her words about him. He knew that the child was scared of him, and she had good reason to be. He had just killed a man with cold determination in front of her. After a few seconds of deliberation, Iust decided what to do.

"You should go on ahead with the child," he told Iria. "I don't want to frighten the little one anymore than I already have. I will follow behind you two at a distance. We should talk after we have brought the child to her parents. We can decide what to do with the corpse then." Iust then waited for Iria and the child to lead the way.

(Very well. I assumed you were also playing NPCs, but evidently not)

The customs officer and a pair of stormtrooper guards looked up, confused. "What the hell are you?"
Detre frowned. "A Noghri.... sir." He refrained from getting angry.
"Whatever..." He scanned through a nearby datapad and looked up. "Your business on Bestine?"
"We're picking up a shipment tri-hydraulic stabilizers," one of the commandos replied.
"For?"
"Private corporation," Detre replied.
The officer raised an eyebrow. "Name of said corporation?"
"It's relevant, according to custom regulations. We're just here to pick it up, and your job is to make sure nothing is illegal, correct?"
He scowled for several strained moments, then finally nodded. "Aw, what the hell do I care. Go ahead."

((You know, Johhny, your name looks an awful lot like 'lust.' Are you having repressed sexual feelings of any sort? How does that make you feel?))

"That doesn't explainw why you attacked us," Vaan said edgily. "And I've never heard of this world "Rapor"," he concluded.

"Either way, you're under my custody for the time being."

"What part of you not having any authority here do you find difficult to understand?" Link asked the Chiss.
"Now both of you, quit barking at each other like angry neks and explain what happened here."

((Very funny, I am actually using the Latin form of J which is I, and that has a Y sound, so it's sort of a play on words, take justice, slice off the ice, and change the j into the latin form and you have my name. Although I did notice what the closeness to lust on my last post when I typed lust in at first instead of Iust. sweatdrop ))

"Explain?" Revak barked. "The Chiss tried to gun us down at Csilla. That Sith witch has tangled with us twice, and we've been attacked by pirates!"

Calra smiled darkly, "So you shouldn't be surprised that we've got an itchy trigger finger!"

"We were just getting rid of that sith for the second time and these three Chiss waltz into our hanger with three Clawcraft and weapons on their hips, do you really expect us not to take that as a threat!"

"So I shot one, be glad my carbine was set on wide beam, if I'd used normal power your friend would be nothing but an atomized pile of ash." Calra replied, clicking her toe as she spoke.

Revak caught the message and tensed, if the Chiss didn't back down Calra was preparing to show them what a truly unhinged Rapora was capable of.

Link nodded and then turned to the Chiss.
"Now speak of your side of the story." He said.

(( Haha! Now that elvis mentions it, it does! xd Still, it is good logical reasoning. ^_^ Iria - the name - comes from a fairly tragic character from the strat RPG Brigandine. ))

Iria took one last look to the late Derith, before setting off. As the child timidly pointed the way home, she decided that the dead criminal wasn't even worth spitting on. And, given the way he looked at me, there's no telling what he'd have done to this child before killing her, had we not arrived. she thought, deciding that perhaps, in it's roughest form, that justice did indeed prevail. With that, she discreetly gestured for Iust to follow.

Eventually, the child was brought to her home, to understandably concerned parents.
"A criminal walked these fair streets, and abducted your daughter. Thankfully, myself and this man arrived at the nick of time," she said to the man, gesturing to Iust. Though she'd have preferred to have taken Derith into custody, it seemed as though the universe was none the poorer for his passing.
The grateful father and mother each expressed gratitude to the knight maiden. "I only wish we could provide you with a proper reward, Lady ... ah?" the man queried.
"Iria," she smiled to the man. "And, no reward is necessary. We only did what's right," Looking to the shaken but relieved girl, she added, "The fact that your daughter is safe, and that the criminal is no longer free to commit any heinous acts is reward enough for me,"
With a polite bow, she then said, "And now, we shall be on our way,"

Once they left the residence, she then addressed the black armored man. "I suppose that all's well that ends well," she sighed.
