"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more...""I'm just happy to see that you are safe," the berry-haired heir reassured Nix with a small smile, before noticing a few things that were starting to feel just a shade out of place at the station that surrounded them. Many of the members of their 'faction' had already filed out, paying little attention to those of them who were trying to organize some kind of a team-effort...which was something that Genji couldn't help but feel was a little bit counterproductive if he was being honest. They had all gathered here to devise a plan and turn their combined attention towards the other factions, but if they were simply going to run off on their own without the intention of working as a team...it could only end poorly for all of them, couldn't it? The young man sighed quietly, but acknowledged when their silver-haired leader decided that he needed to go outside of the station for just a minute...his grey eyes watching as the tall Senior retreated and stepped just outside, his sudden pause and quiet speech, too quiet to hear, made him think that he must have sensed someone just outside and gone to talk with him. He was curious who that might be, but he didn't need to know and left it. Of all the members of their team, only one had a more implicit trust in his heart than Soji Seta, and that was something special. Speaking of...
...The observant heir didn't miss the way that a member of their team seemed to occasionally steal surreptitious glances at the blonde now and then, appraising her...smiling faintly, as though there were some secret about her that only he knew. And then the young man with the cat perched on his shoulder turned to say something to the girl with a familiar colored hair, leaving Genji to wonder just what might have been the reason for that exchange. Setting a hand on Minori's shoulder purposefully, he leaned a little closer to her ear so that he could hide his speech slightly, making sure that the entire exchange looked quite natural (if a tad affectionate...enough so to paint a small blush on his cheek in spite of his tone), before whispering.
"Minori...do you know him?" he had to wait a moment before asking, but when Koichi Mori spoke up it gave him the perfect excuse to nod in the latter's direction when he asked her. The way that the young man had been watching them, before saying that he needed to get back to the Capitol in Tokyo...the city and the exact building where that man she had told him about was living as Shogun until the Apocalypse...was this one some kind of a spy? But there was no ill intent that he could sense from him, so that didn't seem likely...

Watching the Red Viper go had been a little difficult, and he wasn't sure that he said all that he really wanted to, but the most important thing had been said. The help he had given humanity over the last 14 days had been invaluable; whether or not any of them would even still be here if he hadn't been looking out for them, whatever his reasons, was a question that he couldn't answer with any certainty. The answer was probably no, however. And now he was the last obstacle standing in their way to creating a new world. It was exciting and terrifying at the same time, and when the Red Viper had brandished his Sunspear for the first time just before leaving, it left him with tantalizing images of the battles that were yet to come. His swords and technique against the spear and the skill and power of Obelyn Cernunnos would certainly make for quite the experience. His lips curled into a faint smirk as he turned back towards the station, both looking forward and not looking forward to the fight ahead. There was no turning back now...they were far too long down the path towards this confrontation. He gripped the hilt of his more obvious, sheathed blade and moved in the direction of the remaining Restoration Faction members smoothly, pausing near but not next to them, deciding that now was as good a time as any for him to get going.
"We should get to work," he spoke to the others as he watched the young man from Tokyo and his pink-haired companion start back towards the Network for the quick path home, considering now his options for where to start applying his strength in order to bring himself closer to his opponent for the day, "I'm thinking of making a stop by Tokyo to start searching for Obelyn, and to speak with one of the Children of Loki for information on him. The more we know the better...but if one of you sees him, contact me when you can. We'll work as a team...and show them the strength of humanity once and for all."Quote: 44 Tokens
