Tokeru smiled but shook his head. "If you go all out, it'd only be honorable that I do the same, but I don't feel the need to lose a hunter due to my fighting too hard and breaking an arm or leg. If you would have come to me when I could still create barriers, I would have agreed, I could have protected both of us from any harm. For now, just focus on training your instincts."
Tokeru walked over to the wall, and grabbed a shinai, "Block" he said while holding the bamboo sword in the ready position.

"I don't really want to fight you all out either. I don't want to wake up with my claws through your skull." He said, only half kidding. He grinned, and closed his eyes.

Tokeru smiled. "Rest assured, your claws would most likely be in your own gut. Block or dodge"
Tokeru stepped forwards, and thrust the shinai straight out towards Mephlius' stomach.

Mephlius stepped to the side, barely dodging the shinai.

As soon as Mephlius moved, Tokeru spun on his left foot, and brought the shinai back around towards his legs.

Mephlius hadn't seen this one coming, and was hit by the Shinai.

Tokeru smiled as the shinai hit with a resounding "Smack" and held it up on his shoulder. He went back to the wall and nodded to himself. "That's enough for now. I can teach you more later, but work on that for now."

"That's fine." Mephlius said, opening his eyes. He turned, and saw Amnity reading her bible. He took a few steps toward her. "Hey, Am. How long have you been there?"

"Well...Long enough." Amnity finished the verse she was reading before closing the bible and looking up at him. "How was training? He didn't beat you too badly I hope." She chuckled a bit.

Mephlius chuckled along. "Nah, I'm fine. I've had worse." He smiled, then spoke in a horribly sarcastic voice. "Is that a Christian or a Satanic Bible?" He said, remembering the first sentence he had said to her.

Amnity pretended to be angry, closing her bible slowly and looking up at him with the same pissed off expression she had when he had first asked her that question. "Christian bible...My good sir...Are you a Satanist?" She couldn't keep her fake anger up for long. The hunter cracked a smile, remembering that the first conversation they had together didn't start off that well.

Mephlius smiled as well, and stopped quoting himself. "That stuff they say about 'first impressions'? Well, now we know it's a lie."

Amnity chuckled lightly, remembering that day very well. "You're lucky that first impressions weren't everything to me, or else I wouldn't have ever spoke with you again." She stood up, putting her bible away in her jacket pocket. When she did though, she looked up at him, now really noticing the huge height difference between them.

He smiled. "So, where do you wanna- Oh yeah! I got something..." He fished in his pocket for his second purchase... a key to his new apartment. He handed her the key. "As I was saying... where do you wanna go?"

Amnity looked down at the key he had handed her, keeping her glance on the ground. I wanna go save Kuro!.... "Damnit Kuro..." Her voice was barely audible as she thought about her captured friend's situation. She opened her mouth to Mephlius' question, but her worry was still visible in her as she tried to find something to say.
