Kuro smiled at the young lad's determination. "Well, I hope to see you in my class....that is, if I get in this semester.", Kuro laughed, chuckling to himself. "I never really did do much work by the way of training, which is why I'm playing catch-up now.", he added, narrating his life a little bit. Kuro looked up towards the woman for a moment. He took note of his supposed lineage, and bowed slightly in the woman's direction, before turning back to the boy once more.
"Listen, Shinrei, never become lazy. Always work hard, and you will achieve great things.", he added, looking up at the bird perched atop the boys head. It had an air about it, one that would strike fear into someone who it wished fear upon. "Might I ask the name of the bird perched atop your head Shin?", he said, giving the boy a shortened name. He did this on instinct, after spending much time with his father during his visits.

Tairu looked at the boy and the extremely odd bird. Tairu had never seen anything like it before. "Well I'm not actually in the academy, I'm training on my own to become stronger." Tairu told Shinrei. When Tairu heard the name Yokou the wheels in his head started turning back to a sunny day with his father when a woman a little older than he (Tairu's father) had approached them. Tairu was only a small child then but he remembered many of the days that his father taught him about manners. Tairu instantly dropped to his knees when it all clicked into place. He bowed low to the ground " Lady-Queen of the Hyuuga, please forgive this ones rudeness"
(hey proto can you wrap this up so tomorrow we can get back to training?)

Kuro was surprised as Tairu's behavior, dropping to the ground as he did. Kuro took a split-second to think. After a moment, it sunk it. Queen huh. That's a shock. She seems a bit too young to be a queen.....Good thing I bowed. , he thought to himself, keeping his stance the same. "Only bow if they bow back.", his father ocne told him, "Always keep your dignity. One is only better than the other when the other wants the first to be." He always respected his father, and followed the few creeds his father followed himself, such as self-dignity.

"She is Kousei." He used the name Touzoku had given to the phoenix, not her true name, Canlaodh - the southern imperial guardian of fire. "Oh...be careful though...the bird bites." As if to protest Zephyr's casual reference to her, Kousei began angrily nibbling on the shell of his ear. "Ow! Ow! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, ok...?" Grateful that she let go, he rubbed at his ear.
"I'm...rather..." He feigned shyness and nervousness all of sudden. "...well, I really don't know... What's being a shinobi like?" He turned around, beaming at Yokou. "I saw Miss Yokou fight though. She fights like a troll..." Yokou really was struggling to remain calm - though her face was expressionless, anyone who really knew her would've noticed how the slightest erratic rise and fall of her chest give hint to her forcibly suppressed fury. So, to prevent being Rokujuuyonshou-ed on the spot, he gave a compliment instead of pressing his luck...
"...with the grace of a jaguar." Though his eyes widened, as if incredibly surprised when Tairu dropped to his knees - and indeed he was - that, at the least, was completely honest... He gave a questioning look at Yokou, almost accusingly: ...really, now...? Well, certainly it might not have been very fair, as he didn't live in Konoha for the past ten years so did not have to deal with all this formality...but still...a child...
Yokou seemed to have instantly forgotten that she was angry at her Sensei, and instead walked forth and bending down, she spoke to the boy. Even garbed so simply now, she was as lovely as ever, the passing breeze combed through her long, midnight-blue locks...being so close, the scent of lingering lavender in her hair was prominent. But, perhaps surprising the boy, rather than being angry or scolding of his earlier impertinence...she spoke to him in a gentle, motherly tone instead...
"There is no need for that, Tairu-kun." Her hand reached down, and very slightly cupping the boy's chin, gently angled his head up so that they would meet eye contact. "A shinobi must look forward, and hold his head high...not linger his gaze to the earth." She waited for him to stand, and only when he did, she would continue.
She returned the bow to them. A slight, elegant inclination of her pretty head. And then a pause, before she addressed Tairu.
"Tell me, is my family well...?"
She did not address them as "clan".

Rhaim wasn't happy with the fact that he was currently walking instead of sleeping, however getting away from the nightmare of his mothers' nagging was well worth it. His head was tilted downward toward the ground as he trudged onward. The red fabric against his mouth had become so normal to the boy that he had forgotten to remove it once his facial expressions were under control. His hands were thrust deep into his pockets as he rounded a tree trunk to find not just one training shinobi, but four of them. Though he would have rather kept his suprise a secret, his eyes shot wide at the sight of at least one in a deep bow. If there was anywhere he didn't want to be it was around people of higher class.
Hoping that they hadn't noticed him only twenty meters away, Rhaim immediately turned around to make his exit. The last thing he needed was to get caught up with a Hyuuga, Uchiha, Senju, or some other family of prominence.

"That's good, then..." She breathed a sigh of relief. So they were doing well after all the damage caused by the Fire Master... Her attention returned to her charge...only to find him missing.
...Rhaim never made it back.
Zephyr let Yokou be with her young clansman, but... With seeming surprise (but even more so delight), he clasped his hands together.
"Oh he-...!"
But the ground beneath Rhaim's feet came alive meters away and a root kindly tripped the Nara along the way before just as swiftly disappearing into the ground. He would've never seen it coming and so minor was the usage of chakra that the other Students probably wouldn't have noticed the subtle shifts in energies.
Rushing over, with a look of concern on his face, Zephyr greeted the fallen boy. "Are you all right! Careful...the path is uneven here..." It was strange to see a boy claiming his lineage as not in the Fire Country - and even more so, of Konoha - saying such a thing...or perhaps the others would dismiss it as concern.

Rhaim watched with a bit of confusion and aggitation as the ground came rushing towards his face. Normally his face hitting something meant that he had dozed off, however the sudden pain in his toe told him otherwise. As his nose made contact with the earth a single thought played through his mind, this is the time when you 'ninja roll' Rhaim. His hands never left his pockets.
With a deep sigh the Nara turned his head sideways to glance at the boy beside him. Though he didn't remember the path being uneven, he was never one to pay attention anyways. No doubt this would turn into a lecture from his sisters on the importance of a ninja being aware of their surroundings, "Yeah, I'm fine."
His hands still in his pockets the lad made his way to his feet and sighed again. If he waited the kid might run back off to the other shinobi, hopefully.

All he had to do was look, and Zephyr was ready to bet the whole Senju fortune that this kid was a Nara. The lazy slouch, that attitude...oh! And, just like with how he could not resist teasing his poor Student, so had the...the temptations were too great!
"Are you a shinobi?" He asked innocently, blinking wide green-gold eyes. But then he looked thoughtful, pouting slightly as a delicate, pale hand gingerly cupped his chin as he tilted his head aside. "Well...I guess not." The words "shinobi wouldn't be so clumsy" went unsaid but the curious expression that this boy's pretty features took as he surveyed Rhaim certainly spoke much more.
That was when he hugged Rhaim. "I'm Shinrei, what about you? I'm happy to meet another farmer kid! I'm going to be a shinobi, won't that be cool!"

Rhaim didn't think much of the kid assuming that he wasn't a shinobi. In fact being mistaken as a shinobi seemed like it could be much more dangerous than being mistaken as a farmer. There was no thought of correcting him. Especially since until he graduated the academy, he was more or less just some farmer kid.
The hug on the other hand made him rather stiff. It was the same awkward paranoid feeling that he got around Conan. If his hands weren't still in his pockets he would have been inclined to put some distance between himself and the child. As it was though he wasn't about to fight anyone that claimed to be en route to being a shinobi without due cause. "I'm Rhaim. As long as you're hand isn't in my belt pouch, that is cool."

A wicked grin crossed his pretty features: the slightest upturn of cherubic lips but no no, it was mostly the eyes...no kid would have that expression on his face. He leaned in, the heat of his own body warm against the bigger kid, seemingly close enough to kiss the shell of Rhaim's ear, and dropped his tone lowly, so only Rhaim can clearly hear. But what he said was: "Sorry, I don't swing that way. I prefer my fruit curvier, hmn, you know..." He made a shape in the air. "Like this."
If Yokou had heard, she would've stomped back to Iwa just to kill a certain Tsuchikage. At least before, Zephyr, though "bad", at least was asexual enough in the graphic sense. But oh no no, it would appear that the days with Marcus had done wonders in staining the formally (somewhat) innocent Sennin's mind.

Rhaim watched the kids face change expressions in such a quick manner that he wondered just what kind of farmer he was. Then again if he was to become a ninja he wasn't to be trusted at face value, no yet least. However obviously he didn't have cruel intentions since by moving his hands to do the motion he made, he had showed the Nara that pick-pocketing wasn't his goal.
He used the brief moment of freedom from the hug to step away from the too friendly for his tastes child. "Well then I shouldn't keep you from your... um... training?" He briefly looked past the kid at the clearly older woman wondering just how much a mess he had walked in on. "Good luck."

Whatever that man was thinking...oh, she didn't know anymore. But walking over, she did take the "little boy" in her arms this time...before Sensei could do any more damage than he already have. Speaking of which, Zephyr struggled, unhappy...funny to think that mere minutes before, he had wanted to be carried but now, unable to utilize his inhuman strength thanks to the chakra bracelets and, like the winds his Sensei named him after, greatly desiring freedom and free rein...but Yokou ignored the flailings and kept him close to her.
This is wrong on so many levels. She sighed.
"A child of Nara..." Spoke Yokou now to Rhaim, her tone curious. "Little one..." She took a moment to gauge his chakra, before speaking again. "You are nearing graduation, are you not?"

Rhaim wasn't too skilled but he was aware enough to notice a person of power. The way the two reacting to each other was a bit odd though, considering how the kid had introduced himself mere moments before. He had even embraced the Nara and yet was now fighting to be released from the 'curvier fruit'. He took an extra second to look the kid over once more. He seemed a bit frail and 'pretty' to be a farmer kid, plus he had assumed Rhaim to not be a shinobi despite the kunai holster clearly visible on his left leg. Either the kid had lived an extremely sheltered life or he was a wicked liar.
The Nara nodded his head lightly at the woman without removing his hands from his pockets. Though he didn't know who she was he did see the other kid bowing to her and she was still his elder, "Yes ma'am. Well if I do good on the practicals. I sort of bombed the written."

(A few minutes ago) Tairu nervously stood up, the last time that he was too slow to bow his father had blocked the chakra nodes off at his knees forcing Tairu to the ground. Tairu acknowledged Kousei's question and then informed her that had to get back to his training. (Now) "Hey Kuro, I'm going to hide now so count to ten alright." Tairu said as he nervously ran off to go find a hiding place. Tairu was looking around desperately to find a hiding spot but he couldn't find any good ones. Knowing that his time was running short he made a last ditch attempt to hide before Kuro came looking for him. Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. The students will practice with each other in pairs by using their spot checks. One student would count to 10 while the other hide. Then, the student counting would use a Spot check to find them. Formula: 1d20 + Hide (+3) DC: **Whatever the hider's Hide DC comes out to Formula: 1d20 + Spot (-1) Train: Successfully hide 2/3 times **Keep in mind that though the actual Jutsu do cost Cp, but just for the sake of the lesson, there would not be any Cp deductions. Rewards: +1 Chakra, +1 Dexterity, +1 Wisdom

((Kousei is the name of the phoenix who is away from her Suna master and currently here with his friend, the lord Senju Zephyr. She cannot speak unless in her Henged human form and in her bird form, she can only communicate if she chooses to with a telepathic link.))
Eventually, Zephyr did give up struggling, and very grudgingly laid still in her arms, clutching his doll with a pout and resting his head of pretty long-black locks against her shoulder. At this, Yokou had to grin - play the part of a child he may want, then Sensei would just have to accept that he'll have to play by the rules as well...
But she blinked in surprise at the child's comment. Failed the practical? She looked questioningly at the emblem on his clothing...the Nara clan symbol definitely... Imagine if she told Shikamori. He would never believe this... She mused, before turning her attention back to the kid. "Well-..."
"Then why don't we have a spar?" Chimed in Zephyr.
Though her face remained calm, a bead of sweat did appear at her temple.
No! Most certainly not!
