 Eros clung to the shadow of the deflated balloon, unwilling to set foot into the blazing desert sunlight. He'd been carefully sheltered his entire life, literally as well as metaphorically, and had the fragile porcelain complexion to prove it. A few moments in that sun could ruin him forever. Dido, covered in fur as she was, would not have been nearly so bothered by the sun itself. One touch of her paws to the hot desert sand, however, and the Skitty was scuttling hastily back up her human's leg and to his shoulder, where she tended to her toasted toes with as much dignity as she could muster. And now the captain was talking about work? Eros stared at him in disbelief, appalled by the imposition, and even more so by the fact that his fellow tourists seemed all too willing to follow the orders of someone who'd been supposed to be merely their guide. "Can't the ship's Pokémon do this? Isn't that their job? This is not what we signed up for!" Had the promised day of relaxing sightseeing been too much to expect?

 Vana blinked as the harsh sunlight of the desert struck her eyes. She's get burned quickly, drat why didn't she think to grab sunscreen before heading to the desert. She should have thought of it she had lived right next to the beach on slateport, ugh that was terrible with out sunscreen. Oh wait didn't she have a parasol she had bought as a souvenir still on her? She had used this bag back when she went site seeing and hadn't bothered dumping it because there was still a lot of room in it. Vana set Keahi down and went digging though the large bag thing which she brought with her. Aha! there it was. She stood up and opened the pink parasol, it would keep the sun of her and reduce the chance of a sun burn. She had finished zipping up her bag and was about to head out when she heard Eros' comment on the work pokemon, she had forgetting about them. "Oh yea, I wonder where they went." She said looking around she could no longer spot them. "Wonder if they ran away." This wasn't what she had signed up for, not that any of them had actually signed up, there wasn't really any form thing. She hoped this wouldn't end up like the trip Sienna had told her about.

 Cai scowled at the map, it was crude, and a copy unfortunately couldn't make what was already bad better. He massaged his shoulder where a rather unhappy fearow had made it's displeasure known in the rough way it deposited it's 'cargo' on the ground. While the others were drawing, Cai scanning the area around them, trying to place landmarks in his mind and associating them with the locations marked on the map. He shouldn't have even got out of bed this morning. The others all seemed fairly excited at being stuck out in the wastes. Cai couldn't understand. This trip was a disaster and the captain shouldn't be so chipper about all of it. It was disturbing and gave Cai a bad gut feeling about their predicament. Cai stood up and stretched carefully. "I'll go gathering." He may not know this land, or this particular part of it very well, but plants where what he knew. If anything could be recognized as either edible or medicinal, Cai wanted to find it. He glanced to Anise who'd already staked her claim in that group. At least he might be able to trust her not to poison the rest of them. The kids would just be trouble, but might be made to carry things. Cai is going to be in the Gathering group!

George is going to be in the HUNTING group!
Location: Downed Balloons
Interacting with: Koorie, the Hunting Group/Anyone
George listening to everyone around thought about what would be the best place for him. He looked at Koorie to see what she was going to do. With his given supplies he figured he was best in the hunting group.
Turning towards Koorie, "I am going to go with the hunting group, I figured you would prefer hunting group as well. I have a knife or axe you can use while we hunt." He started walking over towards where the hunting group was gathering.

Sabre gazed at the map as it was laid out, mentally taking note of anything he could. With the duties listed out, he found he could be useful in most of the realms... but as others started to pipe up which roles they'd take, he slowly began to narrow down the selection to which might need more members to aid in the cause. With Anja with him, being the powerful canine that she was, hunting only seemed appropriate.
Sabre is going to be in the HUNTING group!

Cara smiled at Laurence as she put her pack back on her back and stood up. "No problem." She then joined up in the little group of 'Shelter' makers that had gathered so far. There weren't that many of them. She listened to Laurence introduce himself and Kili. At his question, Cara nodded. "Yeah, Spirit can cut down branches. She knows some moves that will be great for it." Spirit flitted her wings rapidly from her perch atop Cara's head, glad to help where she could. "Brrava, vibrava!"

Location: The group Interacting with: George / Hunting group Koorie glanced over at George and felt a small smirk pull at her mouth. As always, she could rely on the man to have her back even when she didnt. "I'd appreciate the knife, thank you. I think Artemis would do more harm than good in this situation." Holding her hand out for the knife, she followed with him to the small gathering of other 'hunters', finding amusement in the fact that there were a decent amount of ladies in the group. KOORIE is going to be in the HUNTING group!

Much to Eros's distress, it soon became clear that very few people, if anyone, saw his point of view, and if he didn't help out he wouldn't eat tonight. Or sleep somewhere safe. And he was thirsty.... With an incredibly audible sigh, Eros straightened himself up. He pulled off his coat and draped it over his head, to keep the sun off as best he could. Dido wriggled into his satchel. Even covered as he was, Eros winced as he stepped into the sunlight and began to shuffle toward the water-fetchers. EROS LEONI is going to be in the WATER group!

Vana twirled her parasol as she wondered what group she should head to. Her back was back in its normal place and she bent down to scoop up keahi. "Were should we go little birdy?" She chirped looking around as everyone scrambled to and fro.
Keahi chirped and fluffed his feathers pointing to the group with the water buckets before settling himself on her shoulder.
"Hmm I guess I could get some water, we need a lot in the desert right?" She asked her feathered friend before she skipped off with her stuff, her parasol providing refreshing shade.
Vana is going with the WATER GROUP

As the emergency landing occurred and the balloon descended towards the ground Cadence double checked to make sure all of her stuff was back in her bag. Satisfied that it was she was ready to move out as soon as the balloon touched down. Upon hearing the orders of the captain she looked down to Amaryllis and then spoke up "We will go hunting." Branimir and Torryn were probably much better suited to hunting but Amaryllis would do a good job of stunning the prey so it couldn't hurt. Plus, all the other groups had a bunch of people already.
Cadence is going to be in the Hunting group!

Katori looked over at someone who seemed to be taking charge of the shelter group. "wish i'd brought mah Machete" he mumbled to himself, "dunno if Danae c'n use Cut" Speaking of the fire type Pokemon he pulled out the Pokeball and released her "Yeah i know Danae, bit strange here but behave yerself, we gotta build us a shelter big enough fer everyone, that or several shelters probably" he said to her, bending down and giving her a good scritch as she stretched. Danae looked about at the other Pokemon and for the first time she didn't really feel like battling, it was strange here so was the way they had arrived. She wasn't afraid, no, just wary. "We c'n break some branches down, Danae c'n use slash i think, if that's any good?" he piped up.

Remmy look around to see if he could do something. He knew the big man said that he couldn't go far away from this place or he would get lost and Remmy didn't want that again. He look around and saw Zak going Hunting and he knew that he wouldn't be able to help Zak with that. So he look around once more and saw Cara. He walk up to her and said "What ya doing? Can Squeeks and I help?" Squeek was laying on top if Remmy head. He was still wore out from the pidey attack. Remmy is going to be in the SHELTER group!

Everyone separated into smaller groups to help. There's no time to lose. You must hurry if you are going to get the necessary supplies and make it back to camp for the night.

Corbin looked about listening for those who said they were going to join the water group. He then looked at Eliza. "Well let's go join the group. Got the map?" He said. He saw that she did have the map and walked over to the others in the group. "Okay guys. I'm Corbin and this kid here is Aaron. Guess we should head on off to get that water." He said taking charge and leading the way to the camp site. Once there they could find their way to the oasis.
