Viae reached out her hand once again into the swirling cluster of fragments, lids lowered as she waited to be met with air.
Only... for something much more solid to meet her grasp. She started, stared down at the second tiny fragment. Letting out a huff, smiling a little, she placed it with its fellow and went back to her attempts.

Two for two. Viae lifted a brow, startled by yet another glowing orb popping up in her hand when she closed her fingers around the air it'd been floating in. She took a few more steps, needing to find a new cluster to try and collect more. The one she'd been among had since fled with all her flailing. Oops.

This place was very nice to look around and that was was Riot was going to do as there might be answers to the quesitons. So she started to walk around to find if there were answers at all.

There was no doubt in her mind the next time she tried to grab a fragment, she'd be running back into nothing but empty air and an empty hand.
But for the moment, Viae smiled, cheered by her success thus far at least. It was.... fun? Sort of? Victory was. Not so much the failures.

His lust for fragments grew with each failure. Scanning the fog he found a spot of light on a hill across from the broken pillars.

There still was nothing to be found but at least there were other around that if she wanted to talk she could if she wanted. But for now she just keep wandering.

Walking along Riot keep to herself still trying to figure out as there had been something she was looking for.

He wandered around for some time in the mist before spotting his next target near a roaring river. It was hovering near some rocks on the edge of the rapids. Too dangerous to grab he thought, as desperately as he wanted to. If the water didn't run off a cliff to what looked like oblivion, he may have risked the plunge to grab it.

Looking down at the ground Riot finds something and she picked up the fragement as it was cool looking.

Nada. Viae rolled her eyes, the action allowing her to finally see she... wasn't quite alone. The other figures were about as defined as her own self, but they made her c**k her head and stare nonetheless. Were they all after the fragments? Well.... so long as there were enough to share... She smothered another vibration in her chest.

Sitting near the bank of the river, somewhat glum, Niche spotted the same fragment from the rapids float by on to safe ground.
Lurching toward it he tackled the orb of light into submission.
Success! But the warmth he felt from the possession of 2 fragments was still not enough to stop his search.

Her distraction had been.... fruitful. Viae had barely turned her attention back from those around her, when another orb of light bobbed into her vision. Her hand lashed out and.... got it. She stared in a bit of awe at the fifth orb that glowed in her palm, joining it with its fellows.
A sense of.... joy rushed her system, made her spine straighten and smile grow. What a strange reaction to something so small.
