Jericho let out a huff as he got rid of the other hunter as well. Grinning mildly, he turned towards Alex and gave the zombie a nod. That was two down, leaving a handful left it seemed. HP: 50 Tile: 15 Free

Mei was relieved to see that her newly made friend, Danny had successfully avoided capture. Now, they just needed to aim to keep it that way. "No problem. I'm glad your---" Her words were cut short, when a net flew past her and snagged the demoness. As fast as she had kept this from happening, Danny was shot at again, only with success.
Turning to glare at the hunter who fired the shot, Mei balled her fists and turned to face them. She had no idea who it was behind that golem, but right now, they were a problem.

Ami disappeared, her nix form crumpling into dust and nothingness.
Right before she died, she saw Syd coming for her out of the corner of her eye, gun loaded and ready to fire.
So it was no surprise that when she woke up in the pod rooms, she shouted, "SYDNEYYYYYYYYYY."

Danny was smiling, happy about her victory over the EVIL HUNTER DERYK, when an electrified net fell over her. She could've gotten on if she reacted quicker, or if her horns and wings didn't get tangled in about two seconds.
Oh Danny thrashed around, but it only succeeded in tangling her further. She even tried lighting her hands AND feet on fire, but it was strangely resilient to the flames. There was no hope.
She was about to say something, but Mei came crashing into the scene to protect her. At least she wasn't alone.

What that meant for the horsemen of Death, or what it was meant for was a mystery.
It was possibly because there were too few hunters left for the amusement to continue, that the good doctor wasn't here, medea's mysterious relationship to Caelius or that the mysterious bossman of everything cosmos wasn't here for the pony stomp.

"Damn ******** right I kill people who get in my way. I'm a ******** conqueror of worlds." Overcompensation came easily when he was so small and pathetic. "Your boyfriend probably had it coming b***h for letting you out of the kitchen. Or ******** stable. Or whatever."
He let out another angry defiant yap as he just dodged a stomp that almost got his tail, tugging out a clump of fur.
"I'll only stand still so you can kiss my furry golem arse. "

Ofelia wished she had some popcorn. Some lovely, lovely popcorn.
. . . .she didn't even like to eat popcorn but dammit she felt idle. Her gun had gone off already and she couldn't exactly attack, plus. . . .well, instead she just sort of sat down and chilled. Chilled like a boss, looking so bored and nervous.
Huzzah.
People certainly liked to build grudges, didn't they? It was a good thing she sort of tended to stick with herself an not much else when it came to...well no, Ofelia stuck her nose into everything. At least she hadn't openly offended too many students?
. . . that she could remember?

"HAH! Like you're a keeper. Being a princess on your pal's shoulder." She continued to tap dance about before leaning her head down to start nipping with her own teeth.
"We don't EAT you. We only collect Fear. We don't go around killing anyone - unless you're dumb enough to come into our world to hurt us. I didn't even care about any of you, let alone hated you until you started to try kidnapping us and putting us in cages. How about I throw you in a cage?!" He wondered if he could convince Amrita to sell the hunter at the minipet store, or just keep it for display so little scarlings could torture it.

Sasha, Rin, hell the ghoul could've been named something awful like Tits McGee and Mort wouldn't have had the energy nor inclination to humor it. Frankly the zomboil wasn't even in a murderous rampage mode, and that was saying something given their situation and the irritatingly cyclical troubles the students always ended up in - which would half the time get muddied up by the Jackdamned flesh bags.
So it was an exercise in control that Mort collected only the necessary amount of energy he felt was needed to send the golem crumbling, a sharp, bright jolt of green electricity arcing towards this Sasha to hopefully silence her. No pleasure, no pride, nothing - just pruning the weeds so to speak.
"Thanks, bro," he all but sighed to Alex, pushing his glasses up with a small smile. Mei's elegance surprised him (undead weren't exactly known for being lithe and swift - guess she took his meaning literally!), and the demon's efforts were at least noticed; effort meant something, whatever the result. In a murmured tone he told them, "Getting better. But clustering n-not good idea, more Hunters coming with nets. Spread out bit, keep eye out for stragglers."
Lo and behold, Danny got netted, as did Amrita. "Excuse me?" he barked, almost stopping in his tracks before realising how potentially fatal that could be. "I'm not a ******** princess. That was a tactical manoeuvre awright? Ace was big, I'm not, I was gaining a ******** vantage point. In case, oh I dunno A GIANT ******** HORSE b***h runs over and TRIES TO KILL US. "
He snarled frustratedly. "******** lies. The horsemen ACTIVELY try to kill us. I've seen TENS, HUNDREDS of ******** dead guys right? And like." he tumbled away from a snap of teeth much too close. "I don't ******** care that much about THOSE guys. But I want to continue to be amazing. And alive."
He was getting exhausted, but he didn't care at all, he was having fun.
"Kinky. What kind of cage?" he crooned, making less effort to attack Calder now and more effort to simply evade her.

He almost didn't do it. Almost. But he'd already made the commitment, and he'd already made his decision. Gale pressed his lips together, the golem's body feeling unfamiliar, uneasy - and unknown.
Mei would not know who he was. He wasn't sure whether this was a good thing, or a bad thing. Inside of his head, Gale's mind was conflicted, but Jinhai was making quietly reassuring noises and he lifted the gun, turning it sideways.
I'm sorry, he thought, knowing she couldn't hear him, and pulled the trigger.

It was hard to see in the crumbling golem, but Jerry tried his best to push himself up on one massive elbow, "Sasha? Sasha they're idiots just... just try to complete the mission!" Wait, did her gun have another load in it? Ofelia looked it over, a bit surprised, and raised it up towards the students. . .to have it totally go off and snag what looked to be a zombie that she was sort of familiar with? Was it possible that they aged as well? None the less Ofelia let out a sort of squeak as the gun went off and tossed the empty section of it away, not wanting to link any evidence back to her.
Well, at least she'd gotten one? Good for her for noticing! Now...uh....back to people watching.

Fine. She took down one hunter already, she could take this one down too. After that, she would look to helping Danny get out of that blasted net and then focus on the other students caught. Starting towards the boil, hoping to land a good enough blow to either take him out, or at least keep him down until she had time to secure Danny's escape. Or at least, that's what she planned until they fired a second net at her.
Knocked back by the force of the net, Mei struggled to worm her way out of the damned contraption. If there was one thing she hated more than hunters at this moment, it was their damned nets! "Ugh! I swear! If I get out of this--" Her ranting turned into gibberish as she tugged at the net around her.
"Sorry, Danny.."
