Roch caught sight on white. The rage was filling him and he didn't even think as he headed straight for the first person he saw, slamming his guitar body into her stomach. They were in his WAY! SHE WAS IN HIS WAY!! And he was jackin' well gonna GET RID OF HER! His eyes raked over the crowd, hatred for the ghoul who had dared to threaten his bonded, even if the boil never wanted to see him again, abating ever so slightly. But the voices wanted more. Hatred. Jerry's stomach clenched. Before Sasha responded, he glanced around frantically as madness erupted around him. He just wanted to go HOME. He just wanted to... to... throw Sasha over his shoulder and drag her home and back her some GOD DAMN COOKIES but these creatures, these horrible- a dog thing leaped past and it was all Jerry could do to stumble out of the way, his grip on his weapon tightening.... Hatred, so much hatred. Where was the jack damned b*****d who had shot him from behind when he wasn't looking? He was going to tear them limb from bloody limb. He hated everyone so much, though the more he thought about it, the more he realized something. He should really just be hating himself. But he couldn't destroy himself! Maybe later, when all of these others were dead and out of the way he could, but not now. Right now, he needed to be able to fight. Shun took a moment to glance at Invictus and Mitsu, but just went out at the next nearest hunter instead. Rushing over towards the man with the bazooka, the reaper had a strange look in his eye as he came up from behind to stab him right in the backside. The rage building in him was just urged on by the voices. They raged. They wanted to fight. They were angry and they wanted him to help him. Wreck vengeance on whoever crossed his path. A boil crossed his path and he darted forward, ready to attack. But then the voices lessened for just a brief moment, the insanity not having a firm hold on him. In that split second he faintly recognized him. Student. Not enemy? Enemy? Stranger. Again he reeled, pain. Pain everywhere. He liked pain, he embraced it, pain meant you were alive. But it was a hindrance now. A limitation. The hurt still stung where he'd been struck on the back by the vague blur he might have known if not for the raging madness of the phoenix. He was wounded and angry, furious, more angry than he could ever remember being.
It was liberating. He was on ******** wings of bloodlust and he didn't care if it destroyed him or all the world.
And then out of nowhere, a horse. A ******** HORSE headbutted him. It was almost enough to knock him out of his rage.
He blinked as he got up off of the floor and drew Tracey. No ******** way was he going to be pushed around by a horse.
"You.. YOU ARENT EVEN PEOPLE."
It wasn't a fantastic battle cry all things considered.

Where had it come from, where had it come from. It must have been from somebody relatively nearby, near enough to aim and shoot at him. And it hadn't felt like a bullet wound, it didn't have the same hot, burning sensation as it penetrated through Alex's flesh. There. That ghoul, the one with the crossbow. It was probably just dumb luck that his gaze happened to fall on her, but his rage didn't care who he attacked at this point. She might have been the one to hit him, but it didn't matter. He was going to destroy everyone anyways.
