Michiyo, her treasured bottle from last night still clutched in her hands, was nodding off on the couch, head dipping lower each time her eyes closed, only to shoot upright with a start, though this was getting less and less frequent, and every time she opened her eyes her eyelids opened slightly less each time.

[ biggrin I didn't have time to get the gold for this stuff, but this was my planned outfit-
 ]
Erin hadn't been able to join in the festivities yet, which he was quite disgruntled about. They had sent him away on a mission right before his favorite holiday, but he had gotten back in the nick of time. It seemed as he walked the halls, that festivities were in a bit if a lull, be he knew he should be able to liven the place up. He had stopped at his room just long enough to clean up and change his attire to something more appropriate, before hurtling for the Common Room. When he busted in, it looked like no one was there at first, but he spotted Michiyo after a second. He didn't notice her snoozing before he yelled her name rather loudly across the room.
"Michiyo!" he grinned excitedly.
He hadn't seen the girl for more then 5 minutes since their encounter with Komui's obstacle course. By the end of it he had been left feeling very confused and concerned about her, but he had been whisked away for a mission too quickly for him to address it. He could only hope that things wouldn't be the same as when he had left.

[[ Ha, I couldn't find what I wanted Michi to wear, so I opted for cheap and just got a scarf XD ]]
At the bellowing of her name, she shot upright, nearly spilling the bottle that threatened to topple over with the sudden movement, managing to safe the precious liquid. It took her a minute of blearily staring across the Room to recognize him, not just due to his change of clothes, but also very much due to her unfocused eyesight.
When she did, she jumped on her feet - wobbled for a moment - before dashing across the Room, "Erin!" she gushed, beaming at him as she stumbled around the various tables and chairs strewn in her path, "You're back!"
As soon as she was able, she turned what looked like her tripping over some random object and falling onto her face into falling against him, throwing her arms around his neck - and probably hitting him in the back of his head with the bottle still clutched in one hand - before turning back to face the Common Room, "Look everyone, Erin's back!" she announced gleefully to a deserted room. If this had been another universe, crickets would have followed her statement - perhaps with a lone tumbleweed rolling by.

Erin was elated when she seemed so thoroughly happy to see him, and his stomach did its familiar somersault. However, when she began tripping over everything in her path, it didn't take more than a second for him to realize she was drunk. Even so, he couldn't stop the butterflies. For a brief moment, he tried to justify in his mind: Well...when people are drunk, they are less inhibited, and the things they say are usually the truth about how they feel. He immediately wrapped his arms around her when she finally got to him, catching her. He grinned and didn't stop himself from giving her a small squeeze, even as he twitched at the bottle hitting the back of his head.
"Did you miss me?" he said in his teasing way. Because I missed you.
"You've been drinking quite a lot, haven't you?" he laughed and looked down at her with his wide grin still in place. When she addressed the empty room, he covered his mouth to stifle another laugh.

"Of course I missed you," Michiyo replied in a tone that suggested he has asked a very obvious question, still beaming at him. She didn't bother to untangle herself - and not only because she felt she might not be able to stay upright without his support. Somehow his appearance had made her very happy, though how much of it was due to the alcohol muddling her mind, she was too drunk to bother to find out, "You've been gone fore~~ver!"
Wiggling the bottle a bit in her hand, gauging how much was left, she went on, "I ha~ve been consuming a lot of very nice alcholic substances. It is St. Paddies after all!"
She squinted at his eyes, leaning in close, trying somehow to determine his state of inebriation from them while barely making out his features, "Someone had to uphold the Irish pride while you were gallivanting across the world~"

"Maybe we should sit you down, then," he laughed again and tried to steer her towards the couch again before she got very close to his face.
He looked down his nose at her and became a little cross-eyed before shaking his head and blinking. He swallowed a little at the proximity, and as their eyes met, despite her drunken state, he didn't fail to notice the sparkle in her eyes.
He blushed at her remark about his Irish heritage, and continued in a quiet voice since their closeness didn't require anything more, "Well I'm here now, so I'll try and make up for it."
As he continued to look at her features, his heart beat harder beneath his chest. Part of him wished she wasn't drunk, but another part of him liked her openness in her current state. He felt the warmth of her body in his arms for a moment longer, rubbing his palms against her back just for a moment before patting her sides and slipping his head out from under her arms. He quickly reminded himself they were just friends now, and he tried to suppress the same things he had been feeling for weeks.
"Let's sit you down before anything else though, shall we?"
