*spazzles* I'm finally moving! I gotta give the landlady $200 today for her to start putting us in the system as a tenant and then the rest of the deposit when we sign tomorrow! Its so close I can almost taste it!
The only down side is the roommate and I agreed that we're not going to turn the internet on for awhile. So I'll be limited to mobile. I'll still try to type up topics. Just means I'll have to write them out before I type them up. But it feels so good not to have to worry about the other two idiots I've been living with.

Ooh sounds good! Not living with idiot housemates is always a good thing. Living on campus at uni for the past three years has certainly thrown a few idiots my way (as well as people I now call my best friends). It's so good to be renting a place with friends now.

It's kind of an awkward time to be trying to move stuff because middle of the week and neither can afford calling off this week and we're helping out at a festival this weekend. We're leaving after I get off of work tomorrow. That and I need to get some stuff from my mom's apartment and she's flying out today to get my sister and they won't be home until some random time on Monday. They don't know when exactly.

Thanks. But because my roommate is a dumbass I'm starting to wonder if I'll have gas money for the week again.

Well he was all "must buy cigarettes and get picked up at the wrong place so now I don't have clothes for the weekend." And he knew we were getting the bed put in the apartment this week (today). It was just a mess.

Dude! That sounds awesome! At some point I want to get a cloak. My stepmom has/had one. But I don't know what happened to it. She let me borrow it for Halloween in high school but that was the last I saw of it.

I have two - a purple velvet one that I made for myself, and my big wool one which I had made for me. The one I made for myself doesn't really look all that great but it's the one I prefer to use in rituals and indoor circles. My wool cloak is great for working outside in the winter. whee I've also made a bunch of velvet cloaks for my friends - black and blue for my best friends, emerald green for my boyfriend, and I even made a red cloak with black lace for a commission...but then the girl who commissioned me said she couldn't pay for it and it's been sitting in my wardrobe for the last few years... stressed I've also made four mini cloaks for my BJDs.

The priest and priestess I work with we're talking about wearing robes for a shadow work ritual we were hosting over the past weekend and everybody was like "Robes? Question mark?" because we don't use them in our normal rituals. But like it mattered since it was just the priest, priestess, me and my roommate that showed up to host it.

Out of curiosity, what do you wear during your rituals? Just casual stuff or something a little more formal?

Usually white clothing unless a specific ritual calls for something else.

Ah simple enough. ^^ I'm really looking forward to the Spring Equinox - I'm using the equinoxes as a way to flip between the Norse and Egyptian pantheons. Both really intrigue me, but I'm aware that people from both sides might clash heads so this is a good way to separate them I think. The Spring Equinox this year marks the beginning of my work with the Egyptian deities. Rha seems pretty happy with this (yes, he's still hanging around!)

Good to hear that he's still around! And that sounds like a good way to do things. I had tried to keep things separated by home and group. But Set is part of both and one of the rituals started getting a real big Egyptian feel and so I just stopped trying. Though thinking about it that should have been my sign that they can work together. So... *shrug*
