(Sorry I've been MIA -- been real sick and stuck in bed... meh. Anyway, here we go!) Almost simultaneously, several Raider armor troopers seemed to meet their end. First was the one that Alexi was engaging. The dark creature's sharp teeth dug in, as the repulsor mini-missiles struck home -- fifteen strike strike the hapless Taylor, incinerating him and his armored suit. Three of the mini-missles based on Tony Stark's technology actually strike Alexi exploding on his dark hide. Two of the missiles actually missed altogether, detonating in the air harmlessly. Parker was literally blown into chunks from C.J. attack with Sidewinder missiles from the SuperHornet he commandeered. Edwards, who was closest to Arell's dive was knocked from the sky from the cascading explosion from Parker's demise -- the explosion snuffed out Edward's boot jets. The Raider armor pilot landed hard on the flight deck, eventually sliding to a halt. Though his armor absorbed the worst of the impact, Edwards was unconscious. Bobby Lane's 'hadouken' attack blasted two Raider armor troopers out of the sky, tumbling in a downward spiral. The other six Raiders spread out switching launching mini-missiles. Twelve missiles were launched at Superboy and Bobby Lane -- each of those missiles separates into ten small, blue-glowing repulsor projectiles!!! ..................................... Caitlin looked around an nodded toward Cyclops, "Thank you sir, and thank you for getting us out of here. There are a lot more kids in that place. Please help them." The amazonian redhead looked towards the other girls, resting a concerned hand on Rainmaker's shoulder, "Sarah, be careful, okay? If you need some extra muscle, I'll help... but I'm going to find some clothes other than just this... jacket. Geez, it's starting to get cold.... I'm going now...The tall redhead tried to hide her furious blush by diving through Nightshade's portal -- who was standing beside the dark, swirling mass. Nightshade looked at both Amber and Roxy, "You two should go through too. We'll look after your friend Sarah, and get the others out."[Exit Caitlin Fairchild to Xavier's Institute] .................................... As the Black Talons are thrown back from heroes counter attack, Iron Monger finds himself facing off against Jonah Hex -- and Brian Mason was not impressed. However, the I.O. special agent was receiving data from scans of Hex's futuristic weaponry. Mason wasn't sure whether or not his omnium-alloy armor would withstand a direct blast. Slowly, Iron Monger put up his hands.... and fired both repulsors from his hands, diving for cover behind a boulder a fraction of a second after firing. Under cover, Mason began booting up the program to project a magnetic beam.... Swampy-Surfer At the moment, there is nothing between Arell and the open hangar bay except flight crews and fuel trucks.... MahoHaku Hope that helps. Go get 'em Maho!

Alexander "Alexi" Stark Romanov Let me wrap my arms around you Suffer the Trespasses that you‘ve made I will take your pain away, forever and a day If you‘d just call out my name, just whisper it §▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ Alexi let loose a roar as he was hit, shaking the air around them with the vibrations. Letting loose of the wreckage, Alexi disappearing in the smoke that was caused by the explosions, almost impossible to see, until once more a blast of concussive electricity shooting forward from the smoke to smack into the final Raider. However, Alexi was done assaulting him for the moment, hoping that the Raider was caught by the surprise assault. The pain did not last long, as the explosions were glancing and his hide was sturdier than what any could imagine. The beast seemed to free fall from the sky for the moment as he regained his senses, shaking it off as he felt numerous feet. Quickly, he opened his wings and flew over Iron Monger, letting loose a flow of black electricity from his mouth erupting in the area Iron Monger sat in cover, the beast vanishing behind the cover of rocks as Alexi became human once more, shaking off the disorientation as he grasped his sniper rifle once more and began moving quietly in the shadows of the rocks, staying hidden as he recovered. God...that hurt. Bruises were sure to form from the small explosives and probably a few bruised bones as well. Can we get this over with? ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§ When you feel that something‘s wrong I‘ll shelter you and keep you warm I‘ll never let you walk alone I loved you when you still hated me

"BOOM Shaka-laka!!" C.J. whooped through the microphone. Direct hit! He pulled up as Arell darted away, ducking to avoid the debris as he ran up towards the open hangar bay. It was a crapshoot compared to other times he ran into that hell hole, but by the looks of the gun he picked up from one of the soldiers, SOMEBODY wasn't coming out.
"WAITAMINUTE! WAIT! A! MINUTE!"
What?!
"We're fighting AMERICAN TROOPS! This s**t's government-sanctioned!"
((Kinda makes ya proud we're libertarian, ain't it? Odds are the Liberals AND the Conservatives are behind this!))
This is NOT the time to be making political statements!
"WE JUST BLEW UP A ******** IN A STOLEN JET IN AN OFFENSIVE ON A GOVERNMENT AGENCY!!! This is NOT cool!"
((Do NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!))
Too much all-caps.
Dundee made it back in a hurry just to see the hole open. "Anywhere that isn't this hell-hole is fine by me! LEMME OUTTA HERE!" Dundee yelped as he dove into the hole . . . well fine, leave the fun stuff to us! Coward.
((He seriously can't hear us, right?))
Just get him outta here!
((fine . . . exit Dun' to Xavier's Institute))
Bobby on the other hand looked at the missiles and over at Superboy. "So . . . you got a plan for whatever those things are?" Bobby asked as he started channeling some energy. He'd have to think quick if he didn't!

(( Enter from.... wherever CJ's computer was. ))
Once passing through the screen, Misty found herself standing in the middle of a desert. She wasn't sure where she was... and she didn't see CJ anywhere. She didn't seem much of anything anywhere. She... it sounded like there was something going on somewhere, but she didn't see anything from where she was standing.
...she was still begining to think that she was just dreaming all of this. Passed out from blood loss or... being tackled through a wall or... something.

Iron Monger got hit by the column of dark energy -- Which Mason noticed coming at him. Since there was nowhere to dodge, especially without exposing himself to more fire, Mason rechanneled the power reserve he had been using to power the magnetic beam to the suit's defenses. Even though the Iron Monger powered armor was reinforced against the energy attack, Mason still felt the pain of the dark energy ripping at his very soul, What the hell was THAT!?!?.... "Iron Monger to Raider Leader, I just got hit by that dark creature, whatever it is. It's on the mesa above me near grid G6. Cook it!!! Even use the kitchen sink."In the skies above, Col. Talman received the request from Iron Monger, "Acknowledged Iron Monger. Kitchen sink is on the way.... Raiders Six through Ten, bring the rain."Four SuperHornets banked and lined up with the mesa designated as 'G6' and fired air-to-ground missiles to blanket that area with explosions... ......................... Meanwhile, two defensive turrets at the Phoenix Base turn their arsenal to target a different mesa which Iron Monger reported on earlier -- to fire on Songbird's location. The artillery fire shot at what was easy range for it to strike hard against the heroine's hard sound shield. Though the shield held up to the artillery fire -- the attack acted like suppression fire to keep Songbird pinned down to one location. If Melissa moved, it would expose other teammates to the artillery fire..... ........................ With a deep and painful moan, Rogue slowly began to fight her way back to consciousness laying on the mesa where she crash landed. The lady X-Man was battered and bruised by Iron Monger's earlier assault. Huge holes were torn Marie's outfit exposing large welts on her nearly invulnerable skin. The battered X-Man managed to get up on her hands and knees, fighting off waves of nausea and attempting to fully regain her equilibrium before even attempting to stand back up. At the moment, Rogue had difficulty trying to regain her bearings, especially since the only thing she was hearing was the loud ringing in her ears, "Wha de heck hit meh? Hello? Ahnybody dere?"Eko Domini Tsurugi Not quite 'Broken Arrow' but close.... Swampy-Surfer Don't forget Arell landed on the flight deck....

Meanwhile, Arell darted, dodging the hell around him as he pulled out a gun, quickly dispatching the crew of a nearby truck and took the wheel of the rig, turning it over, he drove it towards the doors of the nearby hangar, dodging trucks as he gunned the engine.
Meanwhile, in the sky . . . there was one plane . . . Raider 11, that managed to . . . wait, holy s**t! THAT'S C.J.!!!
"WOO-HOO-HOOOOO!!! I LOVE this thing!!" C.J. crowed aloud as he pulled the jet around and landed the jet . . . square in front of Misty before popping the canopy open. <******** Yeah . . . what a rush! Hey, babes . . . wanna ride?" he asked as he hopped down from the plane . . . clearly, this psycho thinks he's Top Gun!
"I'm not a scientologist, whatchatalkin' 'bout, Willis?"
Y'know, the movie? Tom Cruise?

Misty was still trying to gain her bearings when CJ finally arrived. It... did nothing to help her regain her bearings when he did. Having a jet land so close to you in the middle of the desert sort of resulted in an eruption of sand flying everywhere.
Having no clue where she was, who was in the jet, or why it was landing so close to her, Misty immediately threw up a webbing barrier around her to block her from the flying sand. She was prepared to turn the webbing right around and grab up whoever got out of the plane if need be.

Oliver Queen, The Green Arrow.
Oliver was never the kind of man who would be sore about the fact that he had no superpowers compared to everyone else fighting here. Sometimes it's a good thing to not be a high priority target because you can't destroy a city with the click of your tongue. Oliver however was thankful that Songbird's shield was able to protect him from becoming a bloody mess scattered all over the cliff.
He had been watching the battle unfold though, and has designated the Iron Monger as the current high priority target. So when he went for cover, he looked over to Songbird and made a few motions towards where the huge suit had moved, "I'm going after him. Keep the field up or find some cover," he said as he loaded another arrow into his bow and started moving. Whatever was hitting her shield, it was meant to keep her pinned to one location, not him.
Now Oliver Queen was no Batman when it came to stealth, after all it is difficult to conceal a green suit in the city, but he as he said himself 'I am not a hero. I am a hunter'. And he was going to put those skills to use by tracking down Iron Monger. After a few minutes of him ducking from rock to rock and checking his surroundings, he found the suit just after being hit by Alexi and ducked under another large rock, observing the Iron Monger down to the last detail.
His eyes always went to the suits wrist, where Oliver noticed an odd console. Whatever it was, it looked to be important, so it was better that he was forbidden from having access to it, at least for a few minutes. Pulling back on the bowstring, Oliver Queen took aim and let the arrow fly.
To Iron Monger though, it would be as if an arrow came out of nowhere and planted itself right on his wrist before part of his arm seemed to freeze over with a thick layer of ice. It wrapped around the entirety of his lower arm, preventing him from having access to that part of the suit, along with the repulsor on his palm. This was then followed by a salvo of armor piercing arrow aimed at the joints of the suit, spots that the worlds greatest archer would have no issues hitting.
If he can't destroy the guy, he will attempt to disable him

While Iron Monger was trying to recover from that dark energy attack, Brian Mason suddenly found his left forearm encased in ice -- with an arrow attached!!!! "What in the hell is this!?" The following barrage of arrows stream in jamming the joints of his armor at the knees and elbows. Mason attempted to move, but found it impossible to do so. With a grunt in frustration, Mason looked in the direction of the arrow assault -- and spotted Green Arrow, "I'm pinned here by ******** Robin Hood!?!? Eat this!!!!" Iron Monger's Gatling gun swiveled on the suit's shoulder mount and fire a stream of fire at the green Justice Leaguer -- with depleted uranium rounds.

As the sand settled, a figure could be seen standing on the wing, leaning on the canopy . . . revealing C.J., smiling as he saw Misty in the sand and chaos.
"As kinky as that seems, you don't REALLY wanna web ME up, do you? Not when there's a whole TON of assholes by that base over yonder you can do that to . . . Just sayin'." he quipped, pointing his thumb towards the bass as he hopped down from the wing.
"You alright?" he asked.
MEANWHILE . . .
Arell made the hard drive THROUGH the door and hopped down from the cab, gun drawn almost instinctively. He heard the chaos outside . . . then again, there were WAY MORE people than he really was comfortable getting involved. TOO DAMN MANY! Next time I go for retaliation, try to come on a day that EVERYONE'S busy! he thought as he stuck to the shadows. If an I.O. Creep was going to come after him, Arell was going to make sure it'd be the last mistake they'd ever make.

Misty looked up as the sand finally settled down, blinked a few times, then shook her head and smiled. "I'm fine... we'll save the whole webbing you up thing for later I suppose." she said as she lowered her shield. She stepped towards him as the webbing faded and broke apart into glittery blue dust itself. "I'll just be happier when all the crazy finally calms down. I think I'm starting to get past the point of being surprised and confused."

C.J. smiled back as he held her close. "Well, look at it this way. After this week, I might be able to talk Mr. Walcott into a vacation! Hopefully the show went alright." he said with a shrug before giving her a peck on the cheek.
"Wanna go for a spin?" he offered, in regards to the . . . "borrowed" jet.
"Pssh, yeah right. I'm not returning this!"
Where the hell are we gonna store this thing?!
((Pandora's problem. NOT OURS, bud! Besides. We can use this thing! Y'know, make with the "BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!"))
You're just as bad as HE is!!!
((Uh-uh!))
"GUYS! Totes got an idea. W.S. Walcott's Flying Circus!!"
Flying Circus?

Misty smiled and relaxed a bit as he held her. It was sort lived though... once he offered her a rid in the rather fast looking jet. "Uh..." she said, looking past him. "Don't suppose I could convince you to fly it on the ground, could I? I know we've both got that whole... suppose we could call it a "get out of the underworld free" card, but I'm not sure about testing it out by crashing." she said, then looked back up at him. "Not... that I don't trust you or anything. You just said there were a lot of guys to round up somewhere. I imagine that would entail shooting at us."

C.J. winked. "They were too busy with Arell and all sorts of other peeps that most of 'em didn't even know I swiped it! Well except for those two robo-dudes I blew up. That was fun." he quipped. Meanwhile, Jonah felt a slight tug on the magnetic beam. Due to Iron Monger's carelessness in aiming, the blasts roared RIGHT past him and into an outcropping. Rolling his eyes, the gunslinger just smirked. "I go from a time of Iron men 't an Iron-covered, yeller-bellied coward! No wonder gunfights these days are stupid." he growled as he holstered weapon. The gunslinger kept moving, reaching for a cigar, lighting it as he kept moving, providing cover fire with his regular pistol until he holstered it, revealing a stick of TNT. Lighting the fuse, he chucked it at the boulder the tin-clad coward hid. ssssssssssssssss-KA-BOOM!!!!

Oliver Queen, The Green Arrow.
Oliver can afford to smile at his good fortune, at least for a little bit. As he had wagered from years of fighting people in some kind of armor, whether ancient, modern, or alien, the joints were usually the weakest armored. After all, it would be useless to move in if the joints were inflexible. As it stands now, the Iron Monger has been reduced to being an immobile turret for the time being.
And that was the issue. He was an immobile turret, not fully disabled or even dead. And as the gun mounted on his shoulder turned towards Oliver, the Green Arrow could only think of one thing: find cover now! And as he rolled to the left, behind a large rock outcropping, the gun roared to life, spitting a stream of death where the green clad archer used to be. He surveyed the trail of destruction the gun created for only a few moments before he started moving again. He cannot afford to not be moving or he would be sawed in half by that gun.
A loud hiss was the next thing he heard, followed by a large bang, like the sound of dynamite. And although Oliver thought the primitive explosive wasn't going to do much against the Iron Monger, it bought Oliver a few seconds to load another arrow while Iron Monger was distracted by (unknown to Ollie) Jonah. Peeking out from behind the rock he ended up running to, he re positioned himself so he had a clear shot of the shoulder mounted cannon and where it was mounted and fired. The results of this shot, if he managed to hit his mark, would be an arrow landing right where the gun was attached to the shoulder of the Iron Monger suit, followed by another explosion, this one hopefully having enough force to dislodge the gun from the mount and leave Iron Monger relatively defenseless.
"Heh, Robin Hood versus Tin Man. Robin Hood wins."
Trust Oliver to crack a bit of a joke during an intense situation.
