I just needed maybe 2 more posts for that. I assumed we had until like Friday, never really got used to things ending in the middle of the week.
=( But I got docked a point doing something the character would have done like talking s**t before facestabbing you and letting the first fireball hit instead of just being a fighting machine.
Oh well.

Given that I was not awarded points for maintaining control in the face of a seemingly unstoppable opponent, that would have tied up the scores.
Anyway, hopefully HoH will be a little more exciting, with less people dropping out or no-showing.

I guess since it's over I should also mention as an aside that Fireside/Garzahd had a heavy resistance to damage from any demonic source, so you might have been nastily surprised had you actually hit him.
Never came into play though (and I'm glad it didn't, because that would have meant that his initiative was gone). Just thought I'd throw that tidbit out there.

I can't imagine how messed up it'll be when the thing actually starts. Sorry, IF it actually starts.

We've been getting through the grading process just fine, when you consider that most of us have very little time to commit to being online because we're adults looking at getting into careers, rather than just jobs, and I had to replace staff twice. Most profiles sitting in the grading process are graded, I'm just waiting to send them en masse today.
The actual tournament (i.e. grading fights) is much easier than grading profiles because the workload is considerably smaller and much more consistent because it relies on a schedule.
Plus, we're working as a team, which leaves us moving only as quickly as our slowest member. At least until now; with the added measures we should be moving through fairly quickly.

I hope that me submitting a profile today doesn't mess up your flow. I balanced the power of the character around the power level of this one, so I think it should be fine, but I can't be sure.

It's not. Profile grading is always chaotic because the profiles come in at random and you often have to grade the same profile two or three times.
Fights are easier and faster to grade because there's always a generally set amount, you only have to grade and read once, and the work lessens as time goes on.
With the addition of Tenkai bringing us up to five people, I'm thinking we can get things back on track. It sort of fell off since February because I had a judge more or less go MIA and I was so swamped with schoolwork and medical issues that I didn't have time to really do anything.

Oh well. Don't take it personally. The comment I made was more toward your character rather than you, the player. Though Fireside did dominate, I still think your character could have done something when he mounted the mage. That's just my opinion anyway. When you finally have your hands on a long distance fighter, you try to do as much damage as possible before he retaliates. But you played to your character, so I respect that.
