Magellan's history of Plans That Had Gone Wrong was a long, proud, and glorious one filled near to bursting with horrible ideas and worse execution. Attacking the tail had seemed, at the time, to be a really great idea -- it was lashing around and beating the crap out of people, so why not? -- but like so many of her ideas that she had thought to be good, it fell short. As far as she could tell, she hadn't even hurt the damn thing; moments after striking and getting hit, she remembered skidding a short ways across the ground, and then being covered in some really disgusting s**t and being superglued to the tail of the beast. Well, that ******** awesome," she screamed, beginning to thrash wildly against the magical bond. It was disgusting, there was slime in her hair, in her mouth, in her eyes --

Bucking hard against the tail, she managed to free herself, temper carrying her several paces at a dead run before she finally caught her balance and enough mastery of her legs to stop moving. Her fuku was covered, and not only was she sticky and oily but she smelled like a hippopotamus' a**, but she didn't care.

It was back into the goddamn fray, and now she was even more pissed than she had been.

Balling her hands into fists, she lunged at the youma again, leaping over its tail and swinging her leg out hard to kick it in the ribs.

Magellan. Remember those plans that went awry?

...

Apparently, she never learned.

As his weapon made it's arch the creature's skin oozed the oil and he found himself stuck to the bat and the bat stuck to his hands.

Yep. Not a fighter. Why oh why had he tried again.

Seeing Nemesis down, sunk into a sink hole, he smiled; rather proud of himself. A look to Alunite was given. "Keep her down, we don't want her up and attacking. The great youma needs protecting." And he was going to do just that.

Watching as the Great Youma was ripped and beaten apart the captain shook with rage and sorrow for the youma's pain. Turning around he spied a certain senshi at it's tail. How quaint, two senshi he disliked in fact. He hadn't at first seen the female senshi, oh well. Reaching down he scooped up a piece of the rubble and threw it, hard, aiming for Ganymede.

"How rude, attacking something from behind. Do your lot have absolutely no sense of morals." He didn't make it a question, a statement. Senshi really were moral-less curses, he was learning this more and more as he watched and encountered them.

"Perhaps you should fight it face to face if it's a fight with the youma you seek." Maybe it would eat the blond senshi, one less annoyance as far as he was concerned at present.

Um, hell no.

Alunite wasn't gonna let that happen - he launched a punch at Nemesis' midsection, hoping to knock the air out of her and make her fury focus on him, instead.

Remind her that she had bigger fish to fry, so to say.

Bismuthite gritted his teeth as, try as he and other might to protect the youma, was failing. Damn Senshi. Damn Knights... The youma was taking a beating, but thankfully, and this gave Bismuthite reason to smirk a bit, it still had a few tricks left. With this reassurance, he continued to fight as before.

Her hand impacted hard with the side of his head and she was surprised by it. She'd been expecting him to block, to catch her hand again, but he'd either been too slow, or didn't have the will in him to fight her anymore. Though even surprising, it was stratifying, and she could feel the bud of a smile twitching along her lips as she watched the bright ooze of blood running down his face. He stared up at her, and she met his eyes with her own cold hazel. he might have rattled her, just a bit, but he had not changed her mind.

Something pulled his attention, and Navi saw an opening for another attack, he was making it so easy, but she stilled when he looked back up at her and grimaced. Preaching forgiveness and peace at her before finally begging forgiveness and charging away from her, towards something unseen on the battleground. It was a shocking thing for an enemy to do, and she stared after him a second or two before moving forward as if to give chase. he wasn't getting away from her that easily!

Something else caught her eye though, and she stopped, turning to eye the prone figure in armor laying a little aways from the chaos of the fighting. She recognized him, he'd been the one that had fallen into nothingness with the senshi. How on earth had he gotten back here? Did it matter? Short answer; no. She let Camelot go, and instead ran towards Hematite, dropping to her knees beside him and pressing two fingers against the side of his throat to search for a pulse. He was hurt, badly, that much was very obvious.

Pasiphae heard Ganymede's cry and was grateful to have him by her side, but the mention of Kallichore made a serious expression come to her face. Part of her desperately wished that the Senshi of Madness was here... but another part was thankful. Thankful that she hadn't had to see this creature, all the death... especially not after the fall of the BMC had so hurt her.

As she made her strike the thick tar like substance leaked from the wounds of the Great Youma and combined with the amount already coating Pasiphae. For a few horrible seconds she was stuck to the tail, the appendage she had been attacking. Beside her was Ganymede, who had dashed off after her. Pasiphae grit her teeth and pulled as hard she could, satisified whenever she was free. Now... what was she going to do?

After a brief moment of thought she decided to use some of the stickiness to her advantage, attempting to use the tail to climb on top of the Great youma and get to a point where she could attack it from above. Normally she would never try anything so risky but... the Shame Senshi was desperate and trying to do anything, anything that could distract it from the allies who remained stuck to the beast. Better she get knocked around or take a bronco ride than anyone else get hurt!

Kestrel just stood there looking like an idiot. She didn't know her name because she apparently needed a cat and now she was being told not to fight?

"What do you want me doing then?" She basically shouted at Howlite but then apparently she was busy fighting someone else. It was alright for her.

She turned back to Nemesis and just watched as she struggled, apparently everyone else was trying to keep her in and so Kestrel still had nothing to do! She would have liked it if Nemesis had managed to get out to hit her but nope people kept getting in the way!

"Damn it let me fight!" She wasn't happy, she wanted to join in and so she moved towards Nemesis, waiting for her to break past the others. She wanted to get some fist action going on!

Were there magnetic objects resting within the Great Youma's skeleton? Polaris was about to get an answer to that question, and that answer was yes... a horrible, disturbing yes. Its bones were half-fossil, leaving all sorts of minerals embedded within, and these reacted to the Eternal senshi's attack, vibrating against the bits of true bone they were bound to.

It tore many of the ribs to shreds and left only half of them in place. Magellan's kick to its ribs only helped them to crumble. The back of its body cavity was exposed, revealing a great mass of nothing where a heart should be... it was an emptiness that drank in the light nearby, and sound as well, creating a silent void within.

Ganymede was lucky to avoid much damage from the rock thrown at him by Benitoite. It grazed one of his bared shoulders and left a scrape, but nothing more serious than that. Raising a brow, he turned to look at the Negaverse agent he’d seen and encountered during the fray before.

“It’s just a youma. I’ll attack a youma from behind. It’s people I’d rather meet face-to-face,” he explained. He’d never had much of a problem attacking youma. He tried to think of them more as monsters living under your bed—they simply had to be gotten rid of before you could sleep. Living, breathing people who must have some sort of a normal life underneath it all were a little more difficult to face. “But if I should go for the head, sure!” he said with as much of a smile as he could manage, though it was more sarcastic than genuine. “It seems like the thing to do, anyway, given how damaged it is already! Maybe you should go throw rocks at the people doing that!”

He stopped talking the moment he realized something was wrong, and looked back to the tail he’d been attacking. It was like it was… secreting something, and… s**t HE WAS STUCK.

“What?!” he gasped, trying to pull himself off of it, but he was, indeed, stuck to the tail. “Holy s**t! What the hell is this s**t?! Let go of me!!”

Draconis had gained caution, but Howlite had lost her own. The dragon senshi had attacked her yet again, and at this point, it had become life or death. The Negaverse could not fall back, and therefore, neither could the blonde lieutenant. General-King Zinkenite had give the command.

Kill.

Chaos effected even the friendliest of people, and Howlite was no exception. Now, she was merciless, and as the ground shook, she used her momentum to propel herself into the shorter girl.

Her own shout was one of anger, not pain, as the kickboxer's fists went for Draconis' face and head, somewhere she'd never struck before. Of course, that was before she'd wanted to destroy her.

Valhalla's face blanched of all color as he stared at Naica and the blood. "s**t... s**t s**t," he mumbled, before his voice dropped to an inaudible grumblings about how bad stuff always happened.

Instead of helping his friend up, he knelt down to him, taking a look at his arm. Valhalla felt like he had some bruises and cuts and scrapes to clean up once he had time, but at least he didn't have his arm broken. "s**t..." he cursed again. He would like to fuss more, but this really wasn't the time. "Can you stand?" he asked, reaching out to try and see if there were buttons to undo Naica's shirt... thing... He needed to see where the blood was coming from.

As Sessrumnir watched both Ganymede and Pasiphae attack the youma's tail, he couldn't believe his eyes. They were stuck to it?? Seriously?? They actually got stuck to the tail from all the sticky stuff??

He laughed.

Really, he couldn't help himself. He had to stop and laugh at how ridiculous it was and looked! Seriously!

"Wonder Woman really can fly!" he snerked, watching as the tail flung them around. Ah, that was fun... It looked like they were going to be able to get out, though, as Pasiphae managed to do it.

Sessrumnir glanced up at the youma, spotting the large horn perched on top. "Well, that doesn't look very damaged," he said, picking up a rock to throw at the youma's horn. He hated to see it not all crumbling to pieces.

As Polaris' attack ripped bits of bone and chunks of flesh from the creature he tried in vain to get himself unstuck from the black ooze. It wasn't working and he didn't want to be stuck to the creature when someone actually managed to do something to actually end it.

There was not telling what would happen when the monster disappeared or died or whatever was going to happen and he didn't want to be near it. It was starting to look like he wasn't going to get much of a choice though.

"Corvus .... " He looked around for his cousin. Maybe she hadn't gotten stuck

Avalon saw Wolframite attacking one of the newly-awakened pages but she didn't believe it. Didn't want to, not really; she'd never seen him fight before, but now that she did she understood why. And she was glad for it--glad to see what he was really like.

She had to stop caring, except that page was just a little girl. All of them had the experience of... something with no experience, and they were only at their first day on the job. Avalon remembered how distressing that was, and she couldn't imagine if she'd been thrust into a full-scale battle this way. She threw herself over a pothole from the previous half of the fight and towards the blonde page (Peklo). When she got there, she dropped, covering the young girl with her body to protect her from further attacks. (Avalon was tall; this worked out pretty well.)

"Shhh," she soothed, in a painfully awkward way that made it obvious Avalon had no experience at this. She stripped off the jacket top of her uniform, leaving her in, somewhat mortifyingly, what looked to be an undershirt and a chest binder, and pressed it to the gash on her arm, applying as much pressure as she could. "Hey, calm down. Deep breaths. You're going to be fine--curl up, I'll protect you."

Please God, she thought, let that not be a lie. Nevermind she didn't believe in God. There were no atheists in foxholes, or on battlefields.

He had not seen the knife - could not see it, because he was still poised with his arms outstretched in front of Chronos. But he heard Peklo's scream of agony, heard the clatter of metal as the dagger fell.

"You're fine," Celsus told her firmly, without turning around. "Listen to me - you're going to be fine, Peklo."

Menthe was there - when had she arrived?

"Hey!" he shouted towards her, since he couldn't use her real name. "Come here! I need you to wrap her arm," he instructed, giving Menthe what he hoped was a kind smile.

Still standing directly beside the Princess, Celsus could not afford to move, nor turn to look at Peklo, though some part of him was dying inside that he could not help his ally, or even see where she had been hit But the Princess was his greatest priority - he could not let her out of her sight, not after what had just happened.

He did not see Virgo either, nor the new page that leapt towards Peklo.
