Arc finally turned away, letting Jake go. He continued to dream away. Enjoying the dream about his future daughter.

Jake almost immediately tried to leave the bed, though he suddenly found no strength in his legs. Shouldn't he have been used to this by now? Maybe it was because they hadn't done it in a while.

Arc smiled, it seemed that the little girl consumed every part of his day when it was just himself. But this dream was more than usual. He suddenly could feel her touch, her warmth. Arc woke, covered in sweat and cheeks wet with tears. He let out a loud sob. Arc noticed that though she was here, she wasn't here in person. Now he could feel her touch. That just completely broke his heart.

Jake was startled when he heard a sob, and he couldn't help feeling a bit sorry. Somehow, he had a feeling that Arc was thinking about their future daughter again. They only needed to wait one more year, though...

Arc rolled from the bed, his heart heavy and sinking. He ran a hand down his face in exaustion. He looked at Jake, the boy could clearly here her laughter now but her footsteps were feint. Arc now could feel her touch. This torment wasn't going to end till she was born. He was already deeply in love with a daugther that was not yet here. Just one more year and nine months, that's all I have to wait till she's here. He reminded himself.

Jake stared at Arc before taking his hand and holding it tightly. He tried to give him a comforting smile, one of encouragement. He could also hear the laughter, so he knew what Arc must have been feeling.

Arc felt the hand, it was reassuring and gripped it tight. Then to lighten the mood, he cracked a joke. "You know mate, I think you should go shopping for your wedding dress."

Jake sighed and gave him a wry smile. "Perhaps. I doubt I'll enjoy that..." What remnants of his manly pride will be crushed once he actually does go dress-shopping.

"Mate, once you are female, you will have the urge to go buy shoes and dresses. And once our daughter arrives, you will have Mother-Daughter outings." Arc returned to the bed. "I will be jealous cause you'd spend more time with her and she with you."

"If I have urges to shop, you best watch your wallet," Jake remarked. "As for outings, I'll make sure to include you somehow. Our daughter will need to spend as much time with you as she would with me."

"My wallet has enough money." He smothered Jake in kisses. "She ill probaly need me at later dates but for the time being, you to might drag me along just to carry your bags."

Jake ran a finger over one of Arc's arms. "You do have the arms for that," he commented. "It'll be fun, but I wonder how she'll react once she realizes her mother was born male."

"She'll understand the Angel's way of mating." Arc gave a playful squeeze. "I will probaly get the chance to have both of you fall asleep on me."

"Seems to me that we're already talking like newlyweds," Jake said with a giggle. A small part of his mind wondered if he and his mate were going to stay and chat all day. He vaguely remembered supposing to be somewhere.

Arc checked the clock, it was only three in the morning. He could get up but sleep some more. He choose later and let Jake go. "I have a few more hours of sleep left." He let sleep take him.
