Ricky, still green in terror, watched horrified as Grant - the boy who had helped him with his shoulder - was sucked into the whale. The southerner charged closer to the whale, his only usable arm extended out.
"Grab my hand boy, I'll yer a** outta there!" he cried as Grant gripped onto his hand. Ricky pulled as hard as he could - and all his time exercising and working with his hands paid off! Grant was freed from the whale! Unfortunately, however, with Ricky's one good arm in use and his other arm out of any type of use, he was unable to hold his own ground and was sucked into the whale.
"God damn this just ain't my day," he pouted, sitting down inside the whale. He was terrified as he got to his knees, praying for salvation.

Grant suddenly found himself falling free of the whale, having grabbed onto someone's hand. He instinctively followed the orders shouted at him, and before he knew it he hit the ground and was staring up at the large whale. He saw Ricky vanish inside the whale.
"OH NO!"
He got to his feet, out of his overwhelming sorrow slump. He still felt the weight of sadness, but now it was all geared toward Ricky. The poor guy had been eaten because he had risked his life to save Grant! How noble of him, and pure. Grant had to do something to aid him, but he had no idea what to do, short of getting himself eaten again. He felt impotent, and his eyes watered helplessly.
Maybe there was something nearby he could use to aid him.
"Don't worry Ricky!" He called, as loud as he could so he could be heard over all the chaos, though it was unlikely that his voice would carry so far. Particularly as it shook with surpressed sobs. "I still have hope!"
The blue boy, looked around, and his eyebrows lifted in surprise when he saw a fallen girl nearby, slumped on the floor and possibly threatened to be sucked into the whale at any moment. Was she dead? He hoped not, and he eeped, mortified, as he scurried over to her.
"Harmony?"

((Leo has rescued Joshua and nimbly hopped back out!))
No matter how despairing he felt of his inability to keep that teenaged girl safe after he'd promised, Leo couldn't just stand there and do nothing. There were civilians everywhere getting sucked inside the gigantic space whale, and there was no telling how long they would survive inside of it. More than that, he'd seen the outline of someone inside the whale's stomach; he'd arrived late and hadn't been aware that someone had already been swallowed, but that person especially needed help.
His first priority, however, had to be getting as many civilians out as he could. Taking a running start, he leapt up and into the whale's mouth, his cape snapping behind him as he ducked his shoulders and barreled inside. It was disgusting -- the assault to his senses, even though he wore a full facial mask, was immediate. Reaching for the nearest person, not caring in the least who it was, his hands closed around Joshua's shoulders.
Not caring if he objected or not, Leo used a combination of adrenaline and his own enhanced strength to sweep the man up bridal style and launch himself back out of the mouth of the whale. They were certainly a sight to behold on the battlefield, his bright blue cape billowing behind them as they soared out of the whale's mouth and landed with (some) dignity back on the road.
He set the man down, asking worriedly, "Are you all right?" and then, in the next moment, melancholy entered his tone again. "Please say you're all right."

He had quickly determined that there was no way to help Fritz out from the inside, and had made a dash towards the exit, but as he did the whale inhaled, keeping him from leaving.
"Minor setback," he muttered, and then flopped down onto the floor. This would take some thought.

Something grapped him. Joshua's first instinct was to stiffen, but really, there was little he could do to keep Leo from dragging him out of that wretched, smelly a** place. Bridal style.
Did it ******** have to be bridal style ? Seriously, man !
He was glad for that, but also... Angry ? Wait, no. That made no sense. Why the hell was he angry ?
And so, for the first time since the color-switching, Joshua made an attempt to control his out-of-control anger, only now becoming aware of it.
"Im fine." Well, there was the broken arm, but that was the ******** bat's fault - if only there was at least something he could make some sort of sling out of... "Thanks, ******** rainbow road. Nothing useful here. Beside his vest... Actually. His arm was rather painfully squeezed back, sliding against his chest, resting in the arm hole, out of the way.
It was a shitty solution, but it would have to do. He wasn't ever sure what kept him going. The pain was nearly unbearable, through he was not quite aware his arm was actually broken - just that it was hurting like a b***h.
It had to be the adrenaline. The anger probably helped, through.
"We gotta get the others out, through." ******** whale. Some of them probably deserved to stay in there, but Joshua's conscience prevailed his anger - he had to at least try it.
So he kept watch, trying to make out the shapes jostling inside Thing's belly...
((Quote me if you need saving ! I can barely keep up in these huge rps. XD; ))

Once Ricky finished his prayers, he rose from the base of the whale's insides, manifesting the fear into adrenaline. He had to escape. There was no way he was going down in space, stuck inside some stinkin' whale.
He focused for a moment and took a deep breath in. He held the air in him as he started to charge forward towards the only feasible exit, exhaling at a steady rate as he accelerated faster. He took a leap of faith forward - and escaped the whale! He rolled onto the rainbow road on his way out, which certainly didn't make his shoulder feel any better.
"Sweet Lord have mercy, thank you Jesus!" he shouted, exhilarated. He then crawled away from the whale and removed his belt from his bottoms. He strapped the belt together into a ring, placing one edge of the loop over his neck and shoulder and the edge around his forearm - creating a makeshift-sling to keep his recently relocated shoulder steady.

Harmony woke up for the second time in pain. It took a few minutes for her to remember where she was and what was going on. When she saw Grant she remembered. It all came crashing back. Not to mention the ginormous space whale outside still sucking people in as they were trying to escape or rescue others. She had no such intention of heroics. Maybe if there wasn't such a person risk to herself and a greater reward, she'd consider it. But as it was she was very hurt, the pain in her side still sending pulses through her body when she breathed that made her wince with each intake of breath.
It was so not FAIR! Karmic injustice! First her mom abandons her at birth, hardly ever spent any time with her and now she was trying to control her life and make her a star cause she couldn't make it when she was a kid. Harmony didn't want to be a star. She wanted to be a photographer! And this? This just wasn't fun anymore!
"Hey. Grant wasn't it?" She had tears in her eyes for the first time, not that that was new. Grant's eyes were shrink wrapped in tears from the moment she met him. She tried to get up, failed with a scream, and settled for asking him to help her get out of the way or the whale's mouth.

Well, just sitting here wasn't getting either of them rescued, and he decide to attempt the escape again.
"I'll come back for you, Fritz," he promised, "Just give me a few minutes." He lept out of the whale, landing back on the broken road. He didn't really want to leave the other male, but it was the only way. He couldn't pull him out from the inside, but he was fairly certain that it was possible from the outside.

True to his word, Ian managed to pull Fritz out, grinning at him even as he was sucked back into the whale. Again. " I'll be out in a sec, just don't get sucked back in!" he hollered, hoping that Fritz would hear him. He was completely unconcerned about being in there, he was bouncing back and forth between there and the road almost as if he was a bouncy ball. Rescuing Fritz.

There was an inner battle going on inside the young woman's head. The real Jade, the one that was always calm and kept herself under control tried to fight against the strange terrifying spell that the space whale had put on her. While her body was shivering and her mind filled with thoughts that made her nervous there was some progress happening. Slowly her uncontrollable, panicked sob was calming down as now here, stuck inside the whale, she had time to think.
She had made a promise to not let her emotions to take control of her a long time ago, back when he had been attacked and with just sheer luck she had survived. Then she had made the promise. The promise to count only to herself and not to depend on anything else. After all, the luck was fickle and emotions were chaotic. And chaos was never good.
In some point she noticed her wound again. She needed to take care of it or she would die in blood loss. So, Jade ripped off a piece of her kimono sleeve (such a shame, it was her dearest kimono) that had already damaged from the bat's attack earlier and started to tie it around her arm and over the wound, as tightly as possible. In the same time she was forming up a plan while still fightning againgst her panic-filled emotions that tried to take control of her.
When she was done, she began to make her way towards the whale's mouth. It was a bit difficult to walk in such tight outfit in such an unstable surface but finally she made it to the edge of the mouth. She waited waited for the opening, still unsure would this work and when she found one she jumped.
It was such a huge relief to feel the rainbow bridge under her feet again!

A while later, Ian reappeared from the inside of the whale, hopefully for the last time. He didn't mind helping people out, or anything, but enough was enough. " That's better," he chirped at Fritz, happily. " Now we're both out, a bit covered in slime, but out." He laughed. Things were looking up again, even if not much had changed. He was still purple, everyone else was still rainbow colored, and there was still a giant whale, but everything was shiny again. " Nobodies going to believe us when we get home."

While being protected by a handsome Leo was amazing, the whale was exciting in it's own way. Mainly the number of tops and firsts it offered, and not even the smell or the pulsating organs could dim her mood. But it looked more fun outside, back on the rainbow road (she'd always sucked at that level on Mario cart unfortunately). When the whale moved back inwards, looking to gulp up more skittle people she'd attempted to run out of its mouth in the most awesome cool flying kick leap anyone had ever seen.
IT WAS EPIC! Until her feed tangled in some of the internal organs of the whale, stopping her a long way from escaping. "Someone maybe help?" The whale, previously full of occupants was beginning to thin out a bit. Some people had escaped like she'd intended, while others had been pulled to safety by those laboring back on the rainbow road.
The organs attached to Varya's leg began to slide backwards into the gullet of the whale. It smelled so awful she might have retched, but that would just make it smell worse so she held it down. There was a bit of glowing behind her, probably from the captured person that had been first in the whales belly. Maybe she knew what to do? Grasping onto the glowing organs, Varya called out into the darkness behind her at Sailor Cancer, clinging to the back of the whales mouth. "Hello? How is the whale down there?" She giggled at her own lame joke while concentrating on not falling further.

"WHAT NO WAIT DON'T LEAVE MEEE - !!!
Panicking like the wailing green bean he looked like, Fritz hopped from one foot to the other, grappling uselessly as he attempted to o climb up out of the whale's mouth after Ian. But the floor was slippery with whatever sort of slime and gunk the creature had ingested (and Fritz did not particularly want to know exactly what it was), and he found himself back on the disgusting, neon-blue floor very quickly.
"WAIT FOR ME!"
In his state of terror, he had, in fact, not noticed that Ian had pulled him out. What he did notice, after a few moments, was that he was alone again.
"NO WAIT IAN COME BACK!"
He just barely managed to catch the other boy's words, and pushing back what used to be red hair that was now a deep emerald green, he flung himself forward in a pathetic attempt at getting Ian out.
Except Ian had already managed to get out, and Fritz, his feet slippery from the whale slime, skidded to a haphazard stop, staggered, and promptly toppled to the ground, dragging both Ian and another girl (Jade) with him accidentally.

Joshua watched, then watched and... there was a girl there. She was joking around, which pissed him off, but nonethless he lunged to get her. And what an epic fail it was. The black haired teen rushed forward.... only to slip on a bit of slime that was now littering the rainbow road and get blown right back into the whale, tangling out right next to the very person he'd tried to ******** his ******** Hell God Damn. You never saw that." Were the choice words he had for his new companion in misfortune, Varya.
