Dorian jumped, 'What are you doing?!' Dorian asked, totally irritated, 'Could you just stay calm for an hour?' His tail was fat. She slipped under the bed and touched noses with her, 'What's the matter?'
Sawyer stirred but did not wake.

'They were staring at me, and theyre strange and I thought they were going to do something to me, and the bird-boy wont let me back in and...' She all but turned into a weeping pile of fluff. 'So many new things... so many shadows to catch me... I dont want to go back to that place!' Her feline form curled up into a ball in the farthest corner she could find.

Dorian sneezed, 'I'm surprised you're not dead, being afraid of everything.' He blinked at her, 'None of them want to hurt you, I bet one of them wants to know if you like chess, one of them likes to play chess a lot.' he explained

'You would be afraid of everything, too, if everything attacked you' she mewled. 'What's chess?' She asked, red eyes flashing in the gloom of the bed. She uncurled slightly, but remained wedged in the corner, like a black hole in the dark space.

Dorian sneezed, 'No one would attack you if you were tough. Chess is a strategy game. For the life of me I don't understand, you might though, why don't you go and ask him?'

Yuma shifted in her corner. 'I'm.... I'm not so sure...' she murmered. She curled up slightly. 'maybe i'll just stay here...' she yawned, licking at one of her paws.
((when you gonna bring Kai back into the story?? *impatient*))

'How can I not be, if I dont know them?' Yuma sneezed. 'Ahh... I should probably go, soon...' She murmered, curling up a bit more. The boys seemed to have started another game of chess downstairs and were making a rucus. 'I mean... I shouldnt be here, anyways... It looked like someone was packing...'
"Dorian. Whered you and your cat friend go?" came Daft's voice from the hallway. Truth told, he was comfortable with the two of them in the room with him, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to fall asleep again, even if his head protested every waking moment.
Yuma's ears perked up as she heard Daft's voice, and looked to the door.

Yuma dashed out of the room and past Daft into Tip's room. Daft closed the door behind him as he re-entered the room, figuring Dorian probably wasnt going to come. He went and curled back up on the bed, moving Yuma so she was napping on his chest. He fell back asleep to the sounds of her purring, and decided that whoever the cat was, he liked her.

Daft sighed and put down the black cat he had been holding in his arms. He wobbled into the back of the van, a set of sunglasses over his eyes that Derek had let him borrow so the sun didnt hurt his eyes much.
Yuma stared into the van. Origionally, she wanted to go with, but the knowing of Tip and Linx going, too, frightened her a bit. Plus, Dorian was the only one who understood her slightly, and could coax her out from under a bed. She scampered off into the bushes as Tip, Derek, and Linx came out.
"You got everything, right?" Derek asked, heaving the dufflebag under one of the chairs in the van.
"Yeah... I went into Bloors last night to grab the rest of it... And I got your stuff, too." two other bags joined the duffle.
"Cool." Derek said and ruffled the boy's hair, then climbed in.
Tip climbed in after Linx, and sat next to Daft.

Dorian walked into the bushes, "Would you come out already, they aren't going to hurt you. You can sit with Daft, he'll keep an eye on you, okay?"
Aya stood by the front door watching, her expression unreadable.
Her mother stood behind her, hands on her arms, she gave her daughter a kiss on top of her head, "You sure you don't want to go?" She asked softly.
Aya nodded silently.
Sawyer wasn't limping anymore but she was still moving a bit slower than she would have liked. When she got to Derek's house she was planning on doing her exercises everymorning, now that she was strong enough to stand on her own.

Yuma didnt budge. She had already decided to stay.
"We ready?" Derek asked, pulling the van door shut as Sawyer got settled in. Before he closed the door completely, though, he gave a feint smile to Aya. Any clouds in the sky that day disappeared mysteriously to bring out a beautiful and sunny day. Derek faltered with his seatbelt, as he was still unsure about letting Aya stay. If anything were to happen... I'd never forgive myself. He thought to himself, finally able to buckle his own seatbelt. He glanced to Linx and smiled.
"We're going home?" Linx asked, still a bit figity about having an actual home, a true family... His short legs dangled over the seat and swung back and fourth as he stuck his hands between his knee's to keep himself from fidgiting too much.
"Home." Derek said, and winked to Linx.
Daft sat with his gaze out the window, towards Dorian and Yuma. Cant be helped... He thought, wiping away a solo tear. He felt like they were leaving forever... never to see them again. His sunglasses slid down slightly to reveal sorrowed eyes, yet still strange from his fall down the stairs the day before. A small bottle of painkillers sat in his lap. Neither he, nor Derek knew what kind of pain meds they had at Derek's house, so he asked the Aramaki's for some. The window was slightly open, and he let two loose feathers drift out, both of which were tackled by Yuma before she dashed back into the bushes.
Tip sat with a grin, quite content with just being there. He eyed Daft for a moment, then went back to thinking of plans to defeat Linx in chess.
((assume Trey is with them in the vehicle. Dunno what he's up to in RL, but hopefully he'll become active in the RP again, soon.))

Dorian sighed, "Fine then, come on inside." He turned to wave at the group in the car.
Mr Aramaki pulled out and onto the road, "Where to Derek?" He asked.
Aya and Mrs Aramaki went inside after Aya waved until she couldn't see them anymore.
Kai sat up in his tree, high up, waiting for his perfect oppurtunity. He was a bit upset about the presence of that cat girl, she was far too skittish for him to want in his collection but after thinking about it a bit more he suspected that her act was just that...and act. His blue eyes narrowed, Just a bit longer, make sure the rest of them are well on their way.
