We now speak of that village as an insult while it no longer exists." She folds her arms over her chest again, sighing softly. "And about the date thing.. You're not the first one who tried. Ever since I came here men just suddenly seem to show their flirty side. With no success of course, I'm better off alone since I cannot be bothered to look after someone like I usually do. In other words, I'm not looking for someone nor I probably ever will." She tried to put it as simple and.. 'kind' as possible, which is difficult for Luna since she's usually quite aggressive when talking about subjects like these. "You can say that I am quite selfish and.. anti-social, or however you want to call it. Either way I won't deny it." Woah, hold on, how is this sudden weird approach from this man suddenly turning in an actual.. 'normal'.. conversation? This is usually the reason why Luna's aggressive most of the time, she wants to avoid making friends.

Drako Constantine "Don't run away from living! That's an order!!"  Drako blinked, seeming genuinely surprised by that. "...Oh, so she can laugh." He said aloud, grinning a bit. That was good to know at least. "I can respect that. It's not like where a person is from matters much to Adventurers like me." And he was an Adventurer, which was obvious from his exploits from his home world, which he hadn't really told many people here. No point in it. "Ah, I see. More power to you. Feminism and all that. It's apparently all the rage these days." Whether he was playing still was quite a mystery. He scratched his nose absentmindedly. "I've never really been much into that myself. I mean, MAYBE later, but I have a few hundred years or so until I die anyway, assuming my lifestyle doesn't kill me first, so no rush. I'm an Adventurer after all, I just go where I want when I want. Whatever Inn I happen to be staying at is my home. ...I've just always thought that a... partner wouldn't allow me to live that way. And I'm not ready to give up that life. With you I just kind of went with the first thing that popped in my head, and... maybe I should try not to do that from time to time." He chuckled a bit at that. That explanation went on longer than he expected. "Nah, you're just one of those people that don't let people in really fast. You've gotta warm up to them, so you put on this cold exterior to hide a warm, mushy real you. Am I right? I'm totally right. Heheh. I've met my fair share of people like that, so I know I'm right!" He may have been over-analyzing it, but that's how he saw it. She seemed nice in reality, but tried to hide it. Or something like that. He put his hand out, for her to shake it. "I'm Drako. Drako Constantine. Nice to meet you, miss...?" (( OoC: ))

"I've had a few partners in the past. Young and naïve people. All died because of their own mistakes. All I can say is: That's what happens if you follow me like a puppy." Luna shrugs before she sat back down, crossing her legs. "There was just one girl actually survived and moved on her own. I didn't mind, she seemed to be intelligent enough to take care of herself. She was mad though.. Mad as a Hatter. Didn't think girls like her existed and I thought that I was weird." Luna grins lightly as she looked forward, into nothing, sort of dreaming away. "But besides all that I've been on my own. Not sure how long I'll stay in Midgar.."

Drako Constantine "Don't run away from living! That's an order!!" "Oh. Cute name. Fitting for you." Drako said, now just to purposefully get under her skin. He wasted little time being friendly to people, it seemed. "Er, I meant...relationship partners, but I guess the concept's the same." He said, shrugging lightly. "Not that I intend to "follow you like a puppy"? But trust me, whatever you can take on I can take on. ..." That came out wrong. "...Not that I'm saying you're weak! But uh... I've just fought my fair share of battles, I'll just leave it at that." He wouldn't want her to think he was being sexist, but he did kinda think he was stronger. Mostly due to his experience fighting ridiculously... ridiculous enemies. Like Ifrit. Or Ifrit on steroids. Or Ifrit on super steroids. He had fought all three versions. And that wasn't even the worst either. "Really? I once met a Lancer who killed himself because I was stronger than him. ...Still not sure if that was on purpose or not... He was pretty crazy too, if you couldn't guess. Never believed much in the strength of heart and overestimated himself extremely." ...This was weird. He hadn't really spoken with anyone about these sorts of events from his home world before. Perhaps the way they were both just exchanging stories just brought it out of him. Walking around her, he slowly took a seat there beside her on the pew. "...Well, it's your choice. But if it ever gets lonely, I'd be happy to hang out with you. It's not like I have much going on in this world myself. Just... a bunch of nothing, really. Eesh, I'm by myself a lot too now that I think about it." It was the same in his world, though. That was the life of an Adventurer. "You could stay in that fancy castle that Avalanche has. I hear they offer rooms to off-worlders like us. I haven't really looked at it much, though." He wasn't aware that she already had a room there, obviously. But then how would he be. (( OoC: ))

"And I already have a room in the Avalanche Mansion. I just met a few people there.. Tifa, Aerith, Cloud and Zack.. Lovely bunch, I gotta tell ya. But.. I don't know, there's something odd about them." Luna sighed again, rubbing her nose with her thumb. "Actually.. Whole Midgar is just a little strange to me. There's this.. certain presence that just calls for my attention." Luna just noticed how weird that sounds and shook her thought off her. "Or maybe it's just the feeling of being in a new place, I don't know."

Drako Constantine "Don't run away from living! That's an order!!" "You're a hard one to charm, aren't you?" Drako said, chuckling a bit. He was trying to be a bit friendly with her with that, but the outcome was of little surprise to him. "Oh, really? Cloud Strife? I've met him too, actually. All girls talk about is him. Are you one of his fangirls? Huh? I won't tell." He said, grinning a bit as he nudged her lightly. He didn't expect much from that, but he was just trying to play around a bit. "Yeah, this place is kinda strange. My home isn't so... technologically advanced. Magitek Armor was a big deal for us, but in a place like this it seems like something you could see anywhere..." But that's probably not what she meant. "Certain presence? What do you mean?" He asked curiously, not finding it as odd as she might think. (( OoC: ))

Even he was a bit playful and flirty towards me." Luna grins. "He said something among the lines that.. I'm just all looks and that I'm not even able to kick his butt.. Seriously, it is not my fault that I have this appearance." Luna really started to open up now. "And his friend too.. Zack Fair, well he seems to be the type to be playful and flirty.. I've got to admit, they're nice. They look like you can have interesting conversations with." And honestly, not everyone has that charm in Luna's eyes. Then again, she never judges on appearance, but on first encounters.
"Well.. that presence is.. difficult to explain. Do you ever had this feeling when someone seems to be in need of your help but they give you really detailed instructions.. As if someone is using me as a puppet, something like that."

I guess that'd be a good advantage in battle." That's the first thing that came to his mind, for some reason. Perhaps due to all the battles he had been. "Haha! Really?Did you beat him?" He had just assumed they already fought from how she was talking. What a funny image that was to him. "Oh yeah? Well, that's nice to hear. You don't want to stick around to talk to them at all? Or hang out with them or whatever? Especially if you like them so much." He smiled kindly to her, just trying to make sure she knew that she didn't have to leave if she didn't want to.
"...You know, I think I might just know exactly what you're talking about..." Drako said, his voice getting a bit more serious as he said that, as if remembering something. "...So what do you intend to do? Are you going to follow the presence?" (( OoC: ))

She runs with her fingers through her silver hair. "And about my appearance.. it depends on who I will need to 'defeat'. It doesn't always work. But it's not like I ever used my looks in that manner.. Never needed to." Luna laughed softly, considering that she's.. quite small comparing to the men around here in Midgar.
"Well.. I don't know. The presence doesn't feel safe nor dangerous.. To me that is. I first want to know what it wants from me, then we'll see what I'll do."

I hear he likes coming to the church, like I do, even though nothing much happens here. Yeah I'd imagine that'd be an interesting battle. Do you think you could handle him? You are pretty... small." Drako noted, though in his opinion that just made her more attractive. "Well, maybe you will some day. Maybe that Sephiroth guy I hear so much about will want to fight you. He's apparently something dangerous." Which only made Drako want to fight him. A lot. Because he loved challenging himself and the strongest ones in the world. "You're gonna go alone? "And I heard about Sephiroth.. He seems interesting. And then there's this other guy I used to adore when I was younger.. I forgot his name.." Luna bit on her lower lip, taking a minute to remember what that guy's name was. "Oh right, Genesis. I didn't hear much about him actually, but the things I did hear made me.. curious." She rubs the back of her neck.

Drako Constantine "Don't run away from living! That's an order!!" "You have a point. And I guess I should know better than to judge a book by their cover." Drako had met many girls much smaller than Luna who had tremendous power in them. Some of which were Miqo'tes like him, but many he was referring to were Lalafell. "Maybe sometime we should spar. Just spar, though; I wouldn't want to hurt such a small and delicate girl." He said, baring his teeth in a grin. Obviously this was more of him just messing with her.
"Genesis, huh? Cool name. I can't say I've heard of him, but then I haven't been on this world very long. I'm guessing he's one of those SOLDIERs? I've heard a lot about ShinRa but haven't seen much of them. That kind of confuses me." He said, shrugging lightly. The way they were described reminded him of the Garleans of his world.
"...I used to be like that too. I have to tell you, though..." The Miqo'te glanced up slightly, looking up through the hole in the top of the church through which light was shining through. "...Finding people to protect, people to fight for... it makes you all the stronger. And you can heed my words or not, but trust me, I'm speaking from experience." He smiled slightly as he glanced down. "I fight for my friends. ...The Scions... My entire Realm. ...And I've overcome things most people couldn't even fathom. " He crossed his arms, glancing to her. "I want us to be friends, too. And if you face something that might cost you your life, I want you to know you don't have to do it alone." Chances are she'd shrug him off, but he just wanted her to at least hear this from someone. And who better than him? ...Well, maybe many people, but still. He wasn't such bad company, right? We'd need to find somewhere better than this place. I don't really want to ruin the calm mood here. And the flowers." Since that was a recurring theme and all. He grinned a bit at her behavior change. She was clearly becoming more relaxed around him, but he wouldn't say anything about that. If he did it might make her raise her defenses again. "Really? Or a place where people just.. can't disturb us. Joykillers are the worst when it comes to a spar." Luna said grinning, pulling the hood of her jacket over her head. She had.. quite this sassy walk, but that's just her image, she's not doing it on purpose. It sorts of fits her playful attitude.
