Yeah, but I probably won't get the opportunity to all that often. I'm going to be in a field ambulance for the first 2-3 years so I'll be on camping exercises or other BS assignments to start.

Yeah unfortunately the Middle East seems to be a very popular place to send US Troops (saying this because my dad has been to the Persian Gulf a lot for deployments). However he does get to go to interesting places along the way.

My dad has been to Italy/ Greece some kind of Asian country china maybe. The U.S. obviously and maybe panama/ Australia . Can't remember.

@ Mav, honestly I dunno why they keep sending troops over there, they don't want us and when they cry for help, they want us not to overstep our boundries, shesh

Lol, I think any country who didn't directly invite another nations army over would probably continually protest them being there. :p

well thats a given, yet the world sees us as a policing body for the world. We as a nation can't attack or counterattack anyone else, yet we have to come to another nation's beck and call. I find that its a terrible spot for us to be in, but isolationism isn't a very good option either
