(('Tis okay. 3nodding *hugz*))
"Let's see, there's the classic 'go through town yelling something embarrassing and/or demeaning' or anything involving embarrassing clothes or lack there of...." Van said folding his arms in thought.

{Thanks for understanding. *hugs*}
"Why don't we make him wear one of the spare outfits I have with me while running around the town singing a children's folksong?" Mala suggested after a couple secconds of thought. 'Then at least Van and I won't be the only ones facing utter embarassment.' she thought to herself, pleased that she'd be dragging someone else down with them - even if it was her once adorable little brother.

"As long as I don't have to watch. No one should have to see a man wearing clothes like that." Van joked. "But other than that, I could get behind that..." he said nodding in satisfaction with the punishment.
((I just had a hilarious thought of Riley going along with it while singing 'Van and Mala sittin' in a tree'. Because technically, that is a song often sung by children. xd I'm so doing this....))

{Crowning moment of funny right there. XD}
Mala shrugged. "That's fine; I'll watch." Truly she could be utterly sadistic when she so wished. She pulled what looked like a prostitute's sort of dress and tossed it to Riley. "Go on! Try it on. I'm sure you'd look lovely." she told her brother with an evil grin, waiting for him to go through with the dare.

"You know you two really do make a couple, and for all the wrong reasons sometimes...." Riley muttered grumpily as he snatched the dress and headed upstairs into their room to change. He later stormed back down, cheeks bright red as he made no eye contact on his way out the door, slamming it shut behind him.
Van leaned back against the window so he could at least hear what was going on while Mala watched.
After taking a deep breath and grinning wickedly, Riley skipped off while loudly singing 'Van and Mala Sitting in a Tree'.
"That little b*****d...." Van muttered as a vein popped on his forehead.

"What a mouthy daughter I've got there!" Mala commented, conflicted on whether she should be pissed and embarassed or impressed by her brother's small bit of revenge. "We have two options. We could make ourselves known and stop him, or, we could go back to the room and hide until nightfall." she told Van. "The choice is yours."

"I don't care anymore...." Van said with a defeated sigh. "We'll either get the town staring at us for associating ourselves with what they believe to be a loon, or Riley will find us locked in a room together and tease us that we're having sex, which he thankfully does not know already happened."

"I'd rather just be teased by Riley and tell him he actually looks like a lady versus having a bunch of randy dwarves staring at us funny for the rest of the time we're here." Mala said to Van, now heading back upstairs. She was just...giving up.

Van ran a hand through his hair once more before going up to join Mala. He couldn't tell whether or not admitting his feelings would make the knowledge of drunken sex better or worse.

Mala plopped onto the bed, gazing at the ceiling for a moment. She wondered what they should do, what would become of their friendship, and most of all...was the previous night only a one-time thing or was it going to happen again?

"Wonder how long he's going to keep it up?" Van wondered as he leaned back against the wall next to the bed, gazing out the window. "I'm sure there's only so long his need for payback will outweigh his embarassment to be dressed like that..."
((I keep meaning to ask, did you intend to call Riley 'a mouthy daughter'? XD ))

{Yes. Riley is more like a grown up son to Mala than a brother, since she raised him, so she was simply making a joke to herself in the situation. XD}
"He'll probably get bored once he realises that we aren't chasing after him." Mala guessed, shrugging slightly as she sat herself up so that she could look over at Van with greater ease. "Knowing how embarassing that outfit is, it probably won't be too long." she said with much amusement.

"I also realize that we haven't seen any sign of Angel or anyone else since we got that nut out of our room." Van said, ignoring the undoubted awkwardness that came from using such a term. "After he's finished, I vote we get out of here before we have to put up with her any more." he said looking over at Mala.

"Probably a good idea. Although I doubt that they won't catch up to us." Mala said with a sigh. His poor word choice made her cheeks flush up once more. "..Van? Can I ask of you something...odd?" she asked.

"Shoot." Van said as he boredly began to fiddle with some stray hair that had fallen in front of his face.
