all at once, there was a flurry of sounds. gunshots, explosions, and whats sounded like jet boosters going off

Lena yelped at all of the sounds and spilled her drink over her shirt. "Aww! Nickolai! You owe me a shirt, jerk!" she groaned.

a large glowing light came from under the door. Nikolai yelled, it wasnt sure if it was fear or enjoyment

Hiro got out his daggers and stepped away from the table. "what's going on?" he asked.

She glanced at Hiro and Yumaki. What's going on? she mouthed and slowly walked up to the door and opened it.

the door led to a hallway, miniature robots lining one side, what looked like miniature guns, bombs, legs, and odd looking backpacks called 'pods' lined the other side. some of the robots and parts had purple painted skulls over them, and other had a painted yellow diamond on them

Lena looked around and bit her lip. Can't wait to see what he does for Halloween, she thought and looked a diamond.

at the end was another door, bright lights and the noises coming from it. an occasion targeting sound and explosions came

Lena walked up to the door. She didn't know if it was because her shirt was wet, but she could feel chills. She gently opened the door and looked through.

nikolai stood in a fighting fashion, red rings moving about him. in front of him was a table with holographic robots on it, along with an entire battle field. on of the robots was short, moved really fast, had a big gem for crown (top of head), legs and feet had the same coloring. the other was mid-sized, wore sports glasses, had red spikey hair, and had a multi firing gun

Hiro dissapeared into the shadows with yumaki, creeping up on the door as h waited to see what was inside

Lena raised an eyebrow and turned to look at Hiro, but he wasn't there. Must've been in the shadows or something. She sighed and took one step through the door.

he looked at the door and saw lena and hiro "hey, what are you guys.....WHOA!" he cried as his robot was hit and the number below dropped to zero. 2 small cubes popped out as Nikolai dropped to one knee "ugh. that could've gone better" he sighed as he grabbed the cubes, putting them in his pocket "like my newest invention?"

Lena stared at the robot and walked up to Nikolai. "What do we have here?" she giggled. She thought the robot looked cute.
