"Well, I see no reason why not." Edel replied. Then she began moving further into the cave. "And perhaps you can meet some of the others while you are out here." she said. The little feathered serpent-like dragon hissed, then slithered towards Edel. Within the blink of an eye, he was curled up at the bottom of her dress. << Well... looks like the guard dog is more of a pup. Never seen you take to something so quickly before. >> Mars snorted at him, then unwraped his tail from Halo to begin following Edel out of the cave and into the clearing. The shiny white dragon watched them a moment, then began moving out as well.

Halo followed, curious. "What Others?" He asked out of curiosity as he followed. He hissed at the serpent like dragon, the sound on par with that of a large crocodile. << Stop picking of Mr. Mars. >> He didn't know Mars that well yet, but already he didn't like it when others made fun of him. It wasn't nice, not in the slightest. It was also disrespectful. He followed close to Mars but not close enough to be in the older dragons' way.

"Well, there is Aztek here..." she said, motioning towards the serpent. "A type of dragon that I had found hidden deep in the ruins." she said. Then motioned towards the white Dragon. "That is Diamond, a jewel dragon. She has a brother, Quartz. And their mother Ivory is in the other den." she said, then grinned. "Not the most creative names, I know."As they came to the opening of the cave, they came to a large open field. A large pond was in the center of the field... with scaled and finned creatures splashing about it. Horses were trotting about. Most were white... some with wings, others with horns. Brightly colored birds were flying about. One blue one that seemed to sparkle and sing happily as it flew. A fluffy green sheep was hopping about. And there were other creatures in the distance. All of different colors, species, and element from the look of it. The clearing seemed to be surrounded by mountains. The rocky hillside surrounding the clearing had caves spotted along the ground and overlooking the field. Each having a different scent, each with a different growl or call echoing out of it. "And... well I've collected far too many to really name. I have a habit of seeking out extinct or endangered creatures and bringing them home." she replied.

Halo was in awe and he looked around but he was a little scared too. He stayed close to Mars, right next to one of the molten dragon's legs as if wandering too far into this new place would mean danger. Which as far as Halo knew, was the truth. He may have looked like a yearling, but he was still very much a hatchling. He still needed a lot of guidance, protecting, and love. He looked out at the many dens and many creatures shyly, but after a few moments he started to peek out and then venture forth. though the thing he was most curious about at that moment, was Diamond herself. He slowly moved toward her and looked up at her. He bowed respectfully, but he didn't really stay away. He'd never had a mother, and in all honesty had never seen a female dragon of any kind. << Hello... >> He said shyly.

Mars followed after Edel as she made her way out of the den. She was going towards the cave where she kept most of the plant and mineral food, so he moved towards the den, but didn't venture inside. When Halo began to stray away from him, he turned his attention towards where he was going to. When he seen that it was the female dragon, he let out a small snort and sat himself down in front of the den Edel had moved into. He wasn't worried about the female letting the child get hurt. The shiny white dragon smiled as the little one approached her. She bowed her head slightly in return. << Hello. Halo, was it? Welcome to what the Master calls "Eden". It's home to many of us who no longer have one. The Master takes care of all of us. I'm sure you'll be safe and sound here. >>

Halo ventured closer to diamond as he listened to her words. << Nice to meet you Miss Diamond! >> and he closed his eyes and giggled. He moved closer until he stood right next to one of her front legs and then without warning he snuggled. He didn't really know why. He just felt an emotion he couldn't rightly explain. He felt the same emotion when he was close to Mars. He had often wondered what it was like to have a mother and father, and now he was starting to think he might find out soon. << Sorry. I didn't mean to offend. >> He apologized as he realized he may have made the Dragoness uncomfortable.

Diamond smiled, then bent her head down close to Halo. << It's alright, little one. >> she replied, then moved her snout against his shoulder and nuzzled him. << I enjoy "hugs". >> She said, then moved her head back. << You're quite friendly, aren't you? >>

Halo nodded silently. He was still a little shy, but after a while he managed to convey what he felt. << I never met my mother, or my father... and with you and Mr Mars around... I...>> and then he fell silent, embarrassed in all truth. << I'm sorry... >>

Daimond smiled and bent her head down to nuzzle him again. << It's alright, little Halo. I'm not sure about the other dragons, but I don't mind it at all. No need to feel embarrassed with me. >> she said gently, << If there's ever anything you need that Mars or the Master can't provide for you, just come to me. Alright? >> she asked.
