Speaks knit. I like that! ^^
Geomorphology is basically about how the surface of the Earth changes due to various processes.
Aussie flora is really quite cool. For one thing we have so many plants that love (and in some cases go out of their way to create) bushfires. Except for coastal and rainforest plants obviously. There is a eucalypt on campus at uni that is so huge I'm convinced it was there before the Europeans even found us. Our deserts are quite sandy - the red sand has to be seen to be believed. One other amazing thing is that our deserts are so dry you don't even sweat - it evaporates before you even notice (kinda why dehydration is really easy...) I could possibly dig around in some of my photos albums and find some pictures for you all to have a look at...though I'll be really busy for a while so chances are I'll forget... sweatdrop

That sounds really pretty Caustic. heart
My mom is funny like that, though. She gets excited over the strangest things sometimes. One day she came home from being out with her bf at the time, super excited because while out she had seen a small Harly-Davidson motorcycle that had to have been a 600. She was excited because the first thought that went through her mind was "That bike and rider are so small! My daughter could ride that one!" lmao. For the record, I'm short, I'm only five foot one, so granted finding a bike for me has been hard (though I'm not looking to buy any time soon), it was just hilarious how excited she was, lol.

YAY!!!!! My Evil Ex will be out of my friends house and COMPLETELY out of my life by the first of Sept!!!!! She wrote back to my friend saying so. It doesn't really mean she will be out on time, she always has one excuse after another. My friend is TX can't wait for her to be gone either.
There is one place she can still get to me. Which she actually has done, but I am hoping even she would not be so low as to keep hurting someone else for the pleasure of causing me pain. Would she????
Everybody have some ice cream and cake and celebrate!!!

Oh My Gosh. I found the coolest red self striping yard. The reds are rich and deep and there are some black stripes too. I think I am going to make my honey some wrist warmers. I made myself a pair of black ones with rainbow skulls in them a few years ago and she has taken them over, So I will make her a pair special. I am also going to make her a sleeping mask, or a blind fold, depends on how you look at it. It is two hearts over your eyes. My list of Yule gifts is growing!!!! I need to quit adding things to the list so that I can get them done. The wrist warmers and eye mask could easily be for Valentines Day, but I want to have them done before the cold weather hits so that I can work on my afghan. I started one of the wombs for my women's group, its cute. I need to make 7 of them!!!! One day this week, I am going to get brave and count just how many things I am trying to get done. Another goal this week is to finish some things up, so I feel like I am getting somewhere. I have a lot started.
OK I need to go get some knitting done right now.

Hey Love, would you be able to take the photo of the wombs for me? I'm really quite curious to see what they look like! I never even thought you could make something like that out of wool - it's a much more diverse medium than I first thought.

If I do this right, here is the link to the pattern Womb Pattern OK cat got a pic of the Womb from the pattern, and signed me up for photobucket. If this fails I will try get a pic posted. Cat Like Thief can help me. The pattern is in 3 pieces, the womb itself and 2 fallopian tubes. I found a crocheted pattern too, that would be much easier, but its just not as cute. Or maybe its too cute. In any case I like the knitted one better. I counted, I have 22 gifts I want to get done and I have 3 finished, or so close to being finished that it does not make much of a difference. 2 gifts are more than half done and one other gift is started. I plan on starting another one (or two) today and finishing another. So 5 by the end of the week, and a lot of the rest are small things like the wombs. Cat Like Thief is having a Cthulhu Yule. She is getting a Dice Bag, a set of gaming dice, and an amigurumi, all Cthulhu. Amazon.com has some REALLY cool gaming dice, I want to get about 5 sets, but I am settling for the elvish ones for me and the Cthulhu ones for cat. They re a bit pricey. Hey if all this worked I will get pics of this Rainbow Goddess afghan I talk so much about posted!.

I have pieces, but have not put one together yet. My pieces are not quite as smooth looking as the pic here. The closest color I could find in a chunky yarn has a very bulky twining and does not knit up as smoothly as in the pic here. The pieces are still turning out very cute. I still have not purchased the pipe cleaners to go inside the fallopian tubes. I took a break ( I shouldn't have I don't have the time) and I made the cutest little pouch. its a purplish wine color with an iridescent thread running through it. There is a blue crescent moon knit into it and some little clear iridescent seed beads strewn into it. The drawstring is long enough the pouch can be worn around the neck. Of course now that I have finished it, I am thinking I could do much better if I made another one. I am still trying to get stuff together for my women's group this Friday and then Pagan Pride Day in Cleveland on Saturday,

Ugh. My glasses broke a few days ago, and I was unable to superglue them back together. I don't have the money for a new pair, so my mom contacted my grandparents on my behalf (she did it because she knew I won't ask them for anything). Gramma is out of town and Grandpa doesn't have anything at the moment. So until I can figure something out, I might be scarce as it's hard to see the computer screen without my glasses. Oh I can, it's just tiring, and kinda gives me a headache. sad

Hope your glasses get fixed soon!
Currently waiting for the heater in my room to hurry up and warm up the room because I'm freezing and I don't want to get into a cold bed...I'll never be able to fall asleep otherwise...

Thanks. I can still knit thankfully, I just can't do anything too complex, but video games and tv are pretty much out right now as I can't see well enough to enjoy either right now. sad But I got in touch with my gramma and she's gonna help me get glasses, yay! So hopefully I will be able to see again soon.

Caustic... Are you getting much cut, I guess I mean did you get much cut off?
I am glad you can knit with out them. I have not yet put together a womb, but I now have all the pieces for 5 of them and I only need 8. Except now my GF is wanting to know if I can make some for her group. She will need six. I will probably do it. She has promised to make it worth my while rolleyes I am sure there will be extra yarn in the deal so...
I made the Cthulhu dice bag for Cat. I have half of my Yule presents finished.

Basically my hair's now just above my shoulders (and so easy to brush!) and has been coloured black over the top and red on the bottom. It looks pretty cool. If you weren't so busy Love, I'd ask for a knitted womb too! But then there's also the issue of being on the other side of the world...
