"Well... that was my first time meeting Aurin," Cindy admitted, "It was when I asked her who he was did she decided to tell us all."

To say the least she was still quiet shocked by that statement of Rhea's even though that had been her first time meeting Aurin.

Miyuki reached out to touch one of the other twins, which they didn't mind to be fair. While she was trying to figure out their wings, they were trying to figure out her ears or tail.

"But think of it from Shael and Adonai's position," Earendil laughed. "They had met the man for a while before then already. To be fair ..."

He paused, grinning. "Well, I guess Aerin's unexpected arrival kind of didn't help. I mean ... she was really one of the reasons Aurin's king allowed him to come here."

If not the biggest one.

"No... that was really surprising from what I heard, I didn't see it, but like I said the talk around here is worse than a village at time so I did hear about it," Cindy murmured.

She paused for a moment before settling her hands upon her lap.

"So besides Rhea bringing home a fiancee, Leyenda, though I haven't met her yet, bringing home a husband and child, and Lin having a child, has anything else new been happening with you?"

She made it sound like they had done everything shocking possible.

Earendil had to think about that. Had they done much else?

"Well ... you probably haven't met Haldia yet," he murmured. "Did you know that they can summon spirits of the ancient creatures to aid them? And Leyenda now, too, since she got her mark when she married Kelirahc."

That was interesting, at the very least. He wasn't sure what else would be as exciting as all that.

"Now that I didn't know," Cindy giggled, "Well, Vergil and I will have to make a trip to Haven to visit. We just have to after all, with all the guests there."

She was very interested to meet Arwen's daughter and her family. It seemed everyone was growing up.

"It would be great if you did," Lin replied, "I'm sure Leyenda especially would like to meet you."

Earendil laughed. "I'd say so, she's as excitable as Rhea, if that says anything. Well," he amended, "she's toned down, settled down since she had Amalirahc. So she would be excited, but not ... crazy, shall we say."

Vergil looked up at Earendil. He had taken a seat in the middle of all of the adults, since the children were, despite being his size, much younger mentally.

"Are you saying that Rhea is crazy?" he asked him innocently.

Donovan cracked up at that, and Lin was giggling, it was just amusing on so many levels.

"I believe what Earendil meant is that Rhea is at times hyper to the extreme, where it seems crazy but no, he is not saying that she is crazy," Lin offered.

Earendil laughed heartily. "Maybe the word I should have used was immature," he chortled. "I think it would be more accurate. Leyenda matured when she had began a family, I'm sure Rhea will as well. But my point was, Leyenda would be delighted to meet the both of you, as would Kelirahc and Haldia, I'm sure. Honestly, Cindy," he added, turning to her, "you would be amazed at just how normal those two would act with you. It's one thing for us, who know you, to act as though wings and a tail on a person are natural - but even when we first were on their island, and they didn't know us, and we hadn't seen them before ... they acted as if seeing Lin and Shiro and Kaito, with their wings, was the most natural thing in the world. They didn't even bat an eye!"

He chuckled again, thinking back. "They were more amazed at the idea of snow, I think."

Cindy had to laugh at that, she who was more than use to snow by now couldn't imagine a world where someone was use to how one looked more than the weather of a different area. Even Gaia had its moments.

"That is quite incredible," Cindy admitted, "I'm so use to people being a bit surprised when they first meet me, it would be surprising for me if it was otherwise."

"It was a nice change though, compared to Amon Darthir where the guards were completely shocked..."

Well it didn't help that she looked like something out a of legend for them.

Earendil grimaced. "I can now safely say," he intoned, "that being in prison is without a doubt the worst experience of my life. And Lin, I agree with you now, that Haldia had the worst of it."

He looked over at Cindy and explained, "When we arrived at the island, Haldia and I were the first to go introduce ourselves ... for our trouble, we were thrown in prison. Rather, I was thrown in prison, and Haldia was thrown in the deepest, darkest dungeon with a handful of gnomes. Keep in mind, that was the first time she had ever been in a building of any sort, other than a grass hut."

"Why was that?" Cindy frowned.

It didn't make sense to throw one person in one place and another in another place...

"I don't know," Earendil replied simply, not wanting to get into the politics of Amon Darthir (since he didn't want her to worry about Rhea, who was going to go there no matter what), and also since he really didn't understand the way things were run there. "But Lin and Rhea came the next day and managed to rescue us peacefully. To be honest, their historian and royal adviser did tell us that the prince, who was the one who locked us up, isn't the brightest, shall we say."

"Isn't the brightest and Lin helped to get you out peacefully?" Cindy glanced over at her sister.

While Lin was admittedly better than their father (far better in some ways) there was no denying her sister never quite got rid of her violent streak from when she was a child. Cindy was pretty sure Elros' influence had a lot to do with that, but a part of it was in Lin's nature and Lin didn't like stupid males as a general rule.

Lin pouted a bit as she crossed her arms over her chest, "Rhea helped mostly. I didn't do anything."

"So in other words you were tempted but you didn't do anything," her father teased.

Earendil laughed softly. "I was tempted to do something," he admitted. "But I thought it better if I stayed where I was. At least then they wouldn't have a reason to do anything else to me. At any rate, I was glad when Lin and Rhea came, though that was nothing compared to when they got Haldia out."

"Jailbreak?" Vergil asked eagerly.

Lin grinned at that, "Nothing so dramatic, Haldia really didn't like it in there so she bolted the moment the prince let her out."

Poor Haldia she had been really terrified at first, and Lin couldn't' forget it.

"The prince was willing to let them both out."

Of course it was just by fluke of chance, otherwise she was pretty sure she was close to wanting to just deck him.
