[Nick :: Castle Armory -> ???]

Nick nodded towards his teacher, reaching for a harness and sliding the rifle into it carefully. He searched for some sort of scabbard for his halbard, but couldn't find one. The blonde shrugged, then moved towards the portal, taking a deep breath and looking around for anything else thac could be useful to him. Deep down, he wanted to have a bag of smoke bombs for fun, but it was time to be serious. He took one more deep breath before vanishing within its shadowy embrace.

[["Louis" : LoD : Bamboo Thicket]]

As a slow wind drifted through the forest of bamboo stalks, the silent, faint noise could be heard like a scrapping of fingernails lightly dragging a trail across the surface of the glass and the swift light steps of a humanoid hot in pursuit. Louis slid around a few trees and danced on the forest floor as an ice skater without a rink. Ice summoned continuously at the base of his sole gave his feet flight.

Finally, with a short spin checking the surroundings Louis stopped in place, waiting in the center of a small clearing. He faced away from his pursuer, only turning around finally as he addressed him in an arrogant tone, "You play your part well, guado. I'm surprised you didn't mess things up. You were ALMOST too late. If you'd cut it any closer, it's possible this little ploy would have failed."

Louis' manner and tone was very different than he usually used with the measter, whom he usually addressed as such, "And what were you thinking firing those flare spells off so close. Do you think this body is that stable? How a man like you ever gained the respect of so many is beyond me. I've seen more promise in a chocobo casting meteor!"

[[Louis : Train : Training Car]]

Louis lifted a hand and waved to Jenny as she entered, then slightly dropped it as James followed close behind. He didn't know him all that well aside from his weapon. His attention turned to Dawn, a nervous smile crossing his face as well as a hint of annoyance at her comment, "I'd say you have a good enough handle on it already..." Louis chuckled slightly though he made it purposely obvious the comment bothered him a bit, but he let it all out in a laugh, "Alright! I've got an idea, best way to practice how to fight is to have an opponent... but we all know how to fight... what we need to to learn is each other." Louis nodded a head in Jenny's direction, "If you don't mind me talking a bit longer... Jenny... in the battle against that weirdo bug bag, you were left alone without protection when your only means of defense are long drawn out spells with little direct attack or means of self defense. Sure, a bit more speed can save some time... but... what you really need are partners who are going to move at YOUR pace, like it or not, you'll never move the same pace as Kyle or Dawn here."

Louis looked to Kyle, "I believe you've already caught on to what I'm saying. Learn each other, organize and stop running off doing your own thing and I'm sure your individual abilities will increase tenfold when you don't have to worry about 10 things at once."

Finally Louis looked to Dawn and then James, then back to Kyle again as he asked rhetorically, "You said this place can be as big as we need right? Not sure how that works but still, there should be enough room for my suggestion. We split into teams... but the goal is not to win... it's to outlast. First team to lose ANY member loses as a whole. You fail to watch out for your partner, or your partner gets double teamed because you failed to stick by them... game over. What do you say? Lets go with who you know the best first. Jenny, Kyle, you two seem to know each other pretty well, you two will be on a team. James, Dawn, you are on the other team. All of you seem to concentrate heavily on one weapon this will make things balanced I think... and like any real battle. There are always surprises, I'll be running interference since it seems my range of weapons is the widest. So, what do you guys say? Unless you have something else you'd rather do..."

[ Seymour : Bamboo Thicket ]

"You said it yourself- I played my part well," Seymour rebuffed, slowly regaining form from the head down, the pyreflies that he'd transformed into to chase after the suit of armor coagulating to form his being. "Perhaps without your proper master, you cannot think things through well enough. If I'd have missed by too much, would they be as likely to trust me? Come now, Mateus, surely you're not so dim-witted on your own."

Now in full form, the Maester seemed almost at home, towering over the Corrupt Scion's possessed form with an air of confidence that came with strange ease. His robes seemed unmarred, his body unstressed; even his hair remained as perfect as if he'd just dressed himself for the day.

"An interesting method of manifestation, to be sure, I'll commend Louis next time I speak with him- or perhaps you can send it through to him the next time you link," he explained nonchalantly, as if it held no particular importance. "If you happen to do so before the I get the chance to speak with him, then there are things he'll need to know."

"For one- Cory can no longer be considered an ally. He's been brought back to life, and luckily for us, he lacks any sufficiently detrimental memory," Seymour continued, looking to the side somewhat, as if awaiting something to move from the thicket. "However, we have an ally to replace Cory, regardless-"

At that point, the Corridor of Darkness opened to their side, and out strolled the cloaked woman, with Nicholas following behind her.

"I'm sure you're already familiar with him, considering you spent eons in captivity with him due to a certain Seraph's treachery," Seymour finally finished, glancing back at Mateus with a slight smile, wondering what his reaction would be. "Mateus, meet the Avatar of Chaos. His name is Nicholas."

[Dawn : Training Car]

Dawn looked up confused at Louis's annoyance. She pouted as he soon started to laugh it off. She reached over and poked his arm.

"May I remind you, that was a complete accident. Yes I did attack you. But the wind just came. That is why I need practice, at least that is what Garuda says. Unless you like being thrown against walls...."

She couldn't help but laugh a little with Louis, but stopped when he started to explain things to the others. It sounded like it could be a lot of fun. She grinned slightly at James.

"Sounds like a good idea to me."

Sousei Tatsu
[Cory .:. Narnia .:. Jadis' Castle .:. Courtyard]

The renegade stepped into the courtyard of the seemingly abandoned castle, his hands shaking from exhaustion of the previous battles. He could only look around through his left eye due to wound on his forehead dripping into his right. He would have wiped the blood away if he had the strength to lift his arms anymore. "I don't see anyone... But this place is stained with the scent of darkness." Cory fell against a statue and slid down into a sitting position, grinning as he found it more and more difficult to keep his eyes open. "Damn... Falling asleep in a place that could potentially be full of enemies... Damn it..." The ronin nodded off on the spot, unable to even finish his train of thought before passing out.

[ Guado Servants : Narnia : Castle Courtyard ---> Servants Quarters ]

A trio of servants, all dressed in traditional Spiran garb, carefully made their way into the courtyard. There remained in a horizontal line, the two on the sides carrying short swords while the one in the middle carried no weapon. They watched carefully for any sign of Heartless or opponent; when they felt the coast was clear enough, they rushed for the unconscious male. The middle man checked for any vital injuries before nodding to the others. One of the weapon-wielders sheathed the blade and helped the barehanded Guado carry the male back into the Castle, the third watching their backs as they hurried along.

---

After lying the young male down on a bed in one of the servants' rooms, the one without a weapon once more checking the male's vitals. After casting a cautionary Cure on the male, the servant pulled out a small bottle of blue fluid- an Ether. Popping the cork from the bottle, he carefully placed the bottle to the male's mouth, slowly letting the ether slip into his mouth.

[Cory .:. Narnia .:. Jadis' Castle .:. Servants' Quarters]

The rogue suddenly sat up, snatching the bottle from the Guado and finishing it off himself as the black and blue flames burst out around him. After chugging the entire bottle, the renegade looked to the Guado that was caring for him and couldn't help but grin.

"A Guado... Several, in fact. I guess my hunch was right, and Seymour really is here." The renegade reached up, grabbing his head and cracking his neck before moving to his shoulders, hands, back, knees, and sternum. His bones always felt so stiff after resting, and the ritual of cracking nearly his entire body was the only way to loosen up. He burst from his position in the bed to his feet, already stretching as the flames around him intensified a bit.

Only after stretching did the Cory finally suppress the flames and turn to the medical Guado, roughly grabbing him by the collar and pulling him close before asking, "Where's Seymour? I'm only going to ask once, then I start breaking fingers."

[ Guado Servants : Narnia : Servants Quarters ]

The three men were caught off guard by the suddenness of the events, not even having a chance to speak before their healer was grabbed roughly by the collar of his tunic. A look of fear passed through his eyes briefly as he immediately grabbed the arm that held him in place out of instinct; however, it was quickly replaced with a stern, accusing glare. The two behind him immediately drew their swords, preparing to use them, while the healer tightened his grip on the wrist. The elongated fingers were wrapped completely around the arm, almost constricting.

"We treat you with hospitality and you threaten us?" he demanded, his hands suddenly heated with a burning intensity, a red glow emanating as he prepared his fiery spell. "Barbaric human. No one will answer you with methods such as these. Let go or lose your limb."

[Cory .:. Narnia .:. Jadis' Castle .:. Servants' Quarters]

Why does everyone always use fire? It's always got to be fire- why? Can't you threaten someone with thunder? Or blizzard? It's like everyone knows I hate fire.

The rogue let go of the Guado, deciding to forgo his instinct to slam the inferior spellcaster into a wall and take advantage of what "hospitality" they might still lend him.

"Sorry about that, Fiery McHothands. When a guy as paranoid as myself wakes up with people showing hospitality, I tend to show aggression first and foremost. One can only assume everyone his his enemy until proven otherwise."

[Nick :: Bamboo Thicket]

Nick quietly stepped out of the portal, staring at the two figures as he took his first steps in the Land of Dragons.

Upon hearing this introduction, the Avatar of Chaos couldn't help but bow as if on stage, uttering "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mateus. Will your host be joining us? Master Seymour, forgive me for not addressing you properly. It is an honor to serve under you." Nick reached up towards his pendant, his guardian. The only thing from Earth that he could keep with him. Sebastian, his guardian dragon. With one crimson eye, the silver dragon would protect him from all evils, like it protected him five days ago.

"Chaos says 'Greetings', Mateus."

[Alice :: Hook's Ship]

A thin line of a smile curved across Alice's mouth as she listened to Timmy. Oh how easy it was to persuade a weak mind. One so easily strayed from his path in the beginning could be just as easily swayed into a different path. Of course one with a weak mind could easily not act upon anything, but as long as the idea was planted it was enough for her... for now. She smiled one last time before turning gracefully on her toes, creating a perfect molten circle as she did so.

The door flew open without so much of a lift of her finger and she waltzed out into the hallway, leaving small imprints of corrosion in her wake. Doors randomly opened and closed as they automatically reacted to Alice's own elated thoughts at the moment. The lantern that hung overhead swung happily before completely swinging off its hook and smashing into the ground sending the area of the hallway into certain darkness. The only thing that could make her happier at the moment was maybe to destroy something, somewhere.

[Jenny :: Train :: Training Room]

Jenny bit her lip as Louis talked, it was true that she would never to able to move at the pace of one of the fighters. It just wouldn't be possible, but she didn't want someone to have to constantly protect her either. As much as she appreciated Louis' help in the battle with Oogie Boogie, she really didn't want to make it a regular occurrence. She sighed unthinkingly, slightly perturbed with Louis' words, not with the actual words but rather the truth behind them.

The mage looked up and nodded at the Ivalician's suggestion, eager to get started only before stopping herself short and glancing to Kyle. Note to self. Self, never, ever decide to some partnership all by yourself... retard. She mentally scolded herself as her agreement. "I'm okay with it if Kyle doesn't mind," she replied, regaining the reins on her emotions... hopefully without too much notice.

[Amy : Land of Dragons : Imperial Square(Palace Gates, whatev')]

"Tea would be nice," Amy said, having caught the last little bit of that conversation. The rest of it was probably more important, and oh she saw snippets of it, mostly facial reactions, and of course Alan's transformation was hard to miss. She was finding it hard to remember what her dress sphere transformation had looked like. It only added to her feeling of forgetting something important.

Something that Kichi had said brought a piece of it to mind. The dress sphere... awakened... Tea. Tea sounded good.

[[Mateus : LoD : Bamboo Thicket]]

Mateus turned his gaze onto the newcomer, no voice leaving his armor for some time. There was a heavy silence in the air for a moment as Mateus looked him up and down, "Chaos..." He hesitated on the word, "it's been a long time."

Mateus turned entirely towards the boy walking up to him and stopping a few inches away, the crimson ruby eyes gleaming inanimately with interest, "You've chosen well, Chaos. Very different from my avatar... very different indeed... yet perfectly fitting."

The Scion of Corruption seemed to ignore the boy himself entirely, "You were quite pleasurable to be around in comparison to the others... once you got rilled up that is. The destruction you could cause was always a refreshing change. What brings you out into the world again I wonder? Perhaps our goals are the same... in which case... I welcome you with open arms my brother... if not... then be gone from my sight and do not interfere with my plans. I've had enough distractions for eons to come."

{James : Train : Training Car}

James listened intently as Louis spoke regarding his idea for them to team up and looked at Dawn who was supposed to be his partner. He had no complaints about working together with his friend, but out of the rest of the group she was definitely the least experienced. But what better way to get better then to actually practice on other people, especially those who were more experienced.

"Sure, sounds fine to me. Sounds like very good practice."

Aside from this, the only other practice that James had ever done with his hexagun since he had arrived here was the target practice he had had with Zexion.

{Leon : Land of Dragons : Imperial Square}

Leon wanted nothing more then to get to the Red Rose so that they could leave, they had an idea where they needed to go now and he wanted to get on it before the trail grew cold again. However, for some reason this land seemed to hold some kind of significance to a number of the kids and it seemed they wanted to drink some tea. As much as he wanted to just leave, their well being was important.

"Alright we'll take a break for a bit in town. Now let's go..."
