Sage nodded making a slight face. " This certainly wasn't on my list of things to experience. What about you guys?" She joked.

Flicker began to pull out the things they'd need for the sacrifice. "Let's see, an altar...got it...ooh, some ribbons! This knife will do nicely, I think...here's some barley seeds! Okay, here's a pitcher of water...ah, some spices! Here's some wine as well...okay, is that all we need?" Flicker nodded satisfactorally at the items she had arrayed in front of herself.

Sage shook her head in amusement. " You have everything we need Flicker. You have to admit the scientists that gave us these abilities with their charming idea of creating a little army have good ideas or a warped sense of humor since it seems like a lot of our abilities came out of old anime shows."

Flicker thought back wistfully. "God, how I loved Ranma 1/2...I could go for reading some of it right now. Can I read after we're done with the sacrifice?"

Jasmine chuckled. "I suppose so, after we finish killing the cow. God only knows where my powers came from in their little heads. Strategy, I suppose, they took into account we might get hurt or whatever." Holding up the ribbons, she nodded approvingly. "All we need to get Pan off our backs."

Sage grinned. " Do you happen to have any of those portable TV's with VHS or DVD players? That way we can watch Ranma 1/2 or some of the other classic animes?"

Markus just shook his head at that last supposed-to-be joke.

Shaking her head with a smile, Delilah picked up the dagger. It was cold and made of a bronze-like metal. Delilah accustomed herself to the dagger's weight in her hand, making sure she held it the right way up. The sun was nearly fully up and Delilah asked, "Are there any special words that I must say whilst sacrificing the cow? Ritual words, you know?"

Flicker mused to herself for a minute. "...I probably do. I think I might have a Wii and a playstation as well...are there any outlets here we can hook them up too though?" Flicker asked, frowning in thought.

Sage shook her head. " Flicker these people wouldn't even know what a record player is much less electricity and having outlets for the Wii and PlayStation even if it would be cool to have them. To bad the scientists who created so many of our abilities didn't make capsule houses and other stuff like from Dragon Ball Z. Those would be very useful. As for sacrificial words knowing our luck there probably are. Flicker does the book mention what we'll need to say?"

Hermes smiled, "Last time I heard news of him, Poseidon was with the Aithiopians. I can pass the message to him later." He looked at Apollo from a side glance then moved past him, asking, "I heard about that little thing you had with that Trojan princess, Apollo. Tell me- was she any good?" he tried not to snigger.

Artemis glared at Hermes as her twin lunged for the messenger. " Did you have to bring that up Hermes? I just got him in a decent enough mood and I was comfortable." She told Hermes with a sour tone and look.

He grinned somewhat deviously as he dodged Apollo's blow, only just clipping the sole of the sandal on Apollo's fist. "Too sore for words then. I reckon the Kass still has his tongue." Looking at Artemis, Hermes shrugged his shoulders, smiling, then was suddenly made aware that Apollo had grabbed one of his ankles.

Artemis shook her head. " Hermes you know better than to mess with him when he's getting over his hangover's. Apollo let Hermes go he's not worth it." She told her brother smacking the back of his head. " Any clue what those humans are up to now? Have they appeased Pan?"

"No idea...." Hermes said. "Do you want me to check up on them?" He was secretly grateful that Artemis had intervened. Although he'd had no intention of getting clobbered to almost-death by Apollo, Hermes hoped that the music god kept to the rule about not maiming the messenger- the one that Hermes himself had instituted for all of Olympus. The rule that he constantly referenced whenever it looked like he'd get in serious trouble.
