Never seen the anime, and I resent the idea of using an umbrella as a weapon, even though customized with the right concealed qualities could make a rather vicious, and multifunctional weapon, but I really do not wish to use one, especially not as, the one I'm assuming you're reffering to, some guy in the chunnin exams in the manga had an umbrella full of needles. Water jutsu's I can deal with, but waterfall otherwise does not sound like the place I would find preferable... but I will wait a day or two for my pm to be replied to, and if I am accepted there I'll likely make a charater for there anyway. But, did I hear mention of another villiage being created now as well? If I am better suited to a different village which will also find itself in need of more nin, I might just join there instead.

I have not gotten a response to the pm I sent asking to join the waterfall villiage, so I think I'm going to give that up and try another one; are there any more suggestions as to where or what I should try, or should I simply pick a villiage to submit a request to and start working on my character?

I need to look into it more before I do again, I want to know I won't be the only one there, but it looks promising. I might make a trully original character, or... I might model it off Rivven. Water magic, chains, and fighting barefisted. But, then again, he exists under special circumstances, and the chance to create a truly new personality and fighting style is always fun, even though it means abandoning all the inventive and effectinve things I came up with... but I'll stop before I let myself fall to the tempation to describe them. Mist does specialize mostly in water magic, yes? Anything else they tend to specialize in which I should know about, before I make character concepts? And, I am assuming, since I can't remember quite, perhaps I'll check the second manga for it, that the test with students killing each other has ceased since Zabuza's time, with him in fact, if I remember right.
