Have the people we are waiting on made any posts since they made their character? Because it seems like only the same 20-some odd people are actually active and we are sitting around waiting on people who haven't done anything other than just make a profile and disappear...

I really want to just get started already... I mean at this rate people will start losing interest and you'll be left with other holes to try to fill.
Besides, I am looking forward to getting to the point of using shikai. (got a nice idea sitting around in my head)

((A shikai is a pretty big deal if we think it clearly, as we notice in the bleach series barely captains had their shikai's fully mastered. And an extra fought if you think things throw this way then you're better off leaving the guild))

And an extra fought if you think things throw this way then you're better off leaving the guild)) All captains have their bankai mastered, not only shikai. That's the requirement (although there are ways around it). And secondly, don't be disrespectful to other members. You are not the one to tell them to leave the guild.
