Kit's eyes widened in an "Oops" expression and then she nodded vigorously.
"Sorry, but what is going on?"
She whispered, still looking a bit irritated and confused.

After Michal saw the blood dripping from Katies ear through his military issued binoculars, he decided that tracking the falcon girl, that was carrying Katie, back to a shack was the best idea. once he reached the Shack he waited outside a while. Then Michal slowly approaches the shack and raps three times on the door and calls out loud enough to wake Katie,"I'm here to see Katie!" Then he pulls out his Handgun with his high-dosed Tranquilizer rounds loaded Ready for anything. then walking over to a window peaking inside try to see Katie.

Kai tensed when he heard someone and his mind raced through the possibilities of how one of them could have tracked them here...one of the answers was when they paused to take Kit along.. but that mattered little since he was there..
Kai swiftly got out of Katie's grasp and pulled out his handgun as he went to the door and cracked it open quietly, "Leave this place at once, we'd rather not resort to violence..." he warned the intruder.

Michal turned around to face the voice, leveling his gun at the door. " look I'm not with the military I just want to see Katie, I'm worried about her," He calmly said keep himself against the wall, well slowly creeping to the door.

"If that is truly the case then throw over anything that could be used as a weapon and keep your hands in the air.." Kai said as he kept himself mostly hidden behind the door, waiting for the man's response.

"Fine" he said tossing his gun to the door. "may I come in?", he asked walking to the door with his hands up.

Katie--who was now more in a deeper sleep, didn't stir when Kai had pulled her out of his lap to answer the door.

Kai reached out and grabbed the thrown gun, kicking it inside before coming out with his gun leveled at the stranger, "Who are you and exactly how do you know Katie?" he asked, blocking the door until he knew the true intentions of the guy.

"My name is Michal J. Caboose, and my relation with Katie is a complicated one," he said stopping at the door," its a long story, and the longer we stay out here, the military has a better chance to find you and my sister. So I ask again may I come in."

Emily, ignoring Kit's outburst walked calmly towards Kai and the visitor. She looked at the man, measuring his attributes. "He's fine. He wouldn't stand a chance against a whole room of us". She turned and sat down in the corner with her bag, letting a knife fall out of her sleeve into her hand.

Kai didn't chance glancing at Emily, but back away from the door as per her choice, "Fine...but keep your distance from Katie until she confirms your identity.." Kai said as he picked up the gun he got from Michal and slid it into his belt just to be safe before going back and sitting by Katie. He checked Katie's ears and cleaned the blood, then gently stroked her head as she continued to dose.

Letting his arms drop to his side Michal walks in and closes the door,"She wont know me at all, to her I never existed," he stated gloomily as he stood by the door, then he reached in his belt and pulled out a stack of playing cards. " I'm here to help, and though you probably wont believe me when i say this but im am the son of Doctor Evelynn Montogue" he said to them all in a calm collected voice.

Emily looked up. "That's all fine and dandy. But, who's Evelyn Montogue?", she asked. Her tail twitched again, causing discomfort on her rump.

"She is the doctor who altered Katie's Genetic structure, that caused Katie to become a half breed." He said. then he made a slight turning motion with his head and said in a slightly sadistic voice,"you got captured," then turning back to where his head was originally and said in his normal voice," would you shut up I'm not captured, and stop talking."

Kit had been listening carefully to what was going on. She wasn't sure if she liked this guy or wether he could be trusted. She moved back over to Katie and covered her up with a worn but soft blanket. she then went to over to the strange man who, from the way he acted, seemed to have schizophrenia.
You say you're her brother but the son of the docter. Why would her own mother do such a thing to her?
She asked and looked at him suspiciously.
