"Alright then." He slammed the butt of his scythe to the ground, and entered his highmental state; like Dracgoon, strange markings and tatoos appeared on his body and glowed brightly, and a magick circle formed around the area. "This is my Seal of Inner Mind, with this seal up, you won't have access to any of the energies within your own body, and will have to fight on your own." Dropping into his battle stance, the Highmental stood strong. "Now, the three of you will face me."
'Good, Asuka passed the first test. I will be glad to see how she handles the next.'

Xiaeriene took up her battle stance as she wiped the blood from her face, thinking out a new strategy. The fight had been going on now for a good while now, with much damage being dished out to them, yet little being returned, and she knew that, unless the three of them banded together with a plan, they would not last much longer. Not being able to utilize her Mirage Clones or Icebolt techniques, she had been relying on her paper techniques, with little success. But, she still had yet to attempt her trump card. It was risky, and it could have a highly effective turnout, but she knew that an elemental in a highmental state was not going to be easily stood down, and the chances of her pulling it off were not high. Her paper had scarce done more than ripped his pants and placed a few nicks and scratches on his body, and she needed to up the ante. She tossed a stack of stickies off in the distance, then extended her staff. She would attempt a neutral Triad Separation from a distance, which would hopefully disorient him enough for her to move in for a non-charged Strung Swipe. But, she needed a tank. She turned to Nergal, who was holding his own, despite not being able to use his energies to power up his spear "New strategy! Go in and tank him, I will follow suit, then move in for a close-range attack! Vain, I'll leave the rest up to you, we can finish this now if we do this right!"

((I'll do Koori when I wake up.))
Shizue didn't have any big flashy energy attacks to worry about. She sat up into seiza and then stood. "I'll go next." The clone stood up. Both dropped themselves into the same stance. The left foot forward, pointed inward with the back foot pointed straight for the enemy, knees bent. Both arms were low for fighting stance and seemed a bit over extended. Left further out than right, due to the footing. The mid-line of the body wasn't visible to either except for the face. The clone was first to strike. The clone threw kokushiken to Shizue's forehead aiming for a one hit kill. Shizue guarded with a left upper pronating block at the same time, she kept her footing exactly the opposite of the clone's. She forced the blows chi of course with her own. Shizue hoped up disrupting a mid torso punch with her knee and countered with a big toe kick to the clone's sternum, which was side stepped. She landed. The clone now had an advantageous position on her. Shizue swapped her footing forcing the clone to do the same and they were once again on equal ground. The clone attacked with left side cresent kick aimed at Shizue's head. Shizue raised her right forearm and caught the foot with the forearm of her left arm. Shizue forced her way in, knowing it wouldn't be enough to throw the clone off balance. She stepped out with her left leg folded her foot inward so the sole would be used as a weapon. She swept the clones remaining planted leg out from under her and forced the clone down to the ground hard. Even with a slap, the impacted cracked the clones back ribs. As it exhaled from the blow to keep from it wind being knocked out, it hacked up blood. Releasing the leg, Shizue drew back her left arm into the chamber and released with a kokushiken of her own into the forehead of the clone. At the last second she lost her concentration due to the clone being a clone of her. The lesser force of the blow cracked the clones skull, not quite piercing. It cried out as Shizue drew back again for the death blow. She landed the kokushiken in the same spot this time driving into the skull of the clone. The body spewed blood and eventually faded away.

Nergal had been taking the most blows, yet still remained conscious, as was his high point. He turned to Xiaeriene with a grinning nod "Aye, sounds like a plan!" He turned to face his opponent, and turned to his side. He pointed the butt of the handle forward, and rushed toward Mahashi, going in for a feint frontal slam, then turning and doing a side stab. If it didn't work, of course, he'd simpy be the punching back, which would be just as effective.

Xiaeriene threw her staff, which split into three pieces, which spun in three directions. The stack of stickies in the corner flew up, joining with the three to form a triangular ring around Mahashi. She did a bounce off of the paper, tossing another stack above him, which opened up in a giant coat of paper. In an instant, the paper fell to the ground, and she was on his back, legs around his torso and arms under his arms. There was paper binding him to her all over, and she held a sticky between the forefingers of each hand, ready for more. The three pieces of her staff still held the triangular ring, as well as a stem of paper connecting to the ground, and each piece had a line of paper leading to the wrap around the two of them. "Cmon, throw me off if you can!" She was beginning to figure things out; if they could not use their own energies, but he could, obviously, his energies should be able to serve as the catalyst. If she could get him to overuse his energies, perhaps he would weaken for a bit, leaving him open. And with how strong the paper was in conjuction to her boost in physical strength, he would need to use a great deal to shake her off. Not to mention the other two coming at him

'They caught on a little too fast. No matter, the girl still underestimates her opponents.' His scythe grew in length, and the blade widened; with a few flicks of the wrist and a bit of focused energy, he cut the stickies with ease. "Child, I've been around far too long to fall for that." Holding the scythe blade behind him, he quickly shank the length of the pole portion, the blade coming straight for Xiaerine's back.

Vain immediately thrust his fist forward, using Darktic on Tenji Makashi Mahashi's pure darkness energy to launch a spike from his shoulder to push back the scythe blade. Keeping the blade from sinking into Xiariene and allowing for her and Nergal to have a strike, he brought one fist behind him. opening it into a claw form. A few rays of dark energy were being sucked from Tenji, and consentrated to be used for an attack.

Nergal took advantage of the opening, bringing his spear around to meet the blade, the head pointed toward Mahashi's face. He now knew what was going on. "C'mon, surely you can do better than that? What was all that about killing us? Was it merely a farce!?" He smirked; he knew what Xiaeriene's play was; the idea, he realized, was to, by feigning underestimating him, trick Mahashi into using more and more of his power, in an attempt to have him break his own seal. And it seemed to be working, as he could feel the seal weaken a great deal after his counter on Xiaeriene. If she played things right, she could possibly break the seal by summoning her own energies past it. He was a bit worried, though, due to the fact that, in doing so, he knew it would reduce her capabilities by at least 35%.

Xiaeriene smiled; she knew he had fallen for her fake ignorance, at least for the moment. She summoned her staff as she flipped backward, landing in her usual stance. She stuck her tongue out playfully "C'mon now, up the ante already!" She knew he was only using a small fraction of his power, and she knew that, if he loosed enough, perhaps his own seal would weaken under the stress of holding it up in addition to fighting. typically, from what her father had taught her, the strongest kinds of barriers and seals require a lot of energy and focus, so multitasking in battle typically causes considerable weakening or falling of the barrier or seal due to the user not being able to uphold it constantly and smoothly

Tenji Makashi Mahashi focused a good amount of energy into his feet and fists, then charged Vain; before he was able to react, Tenji planted a rotating uppercut hard to Vain's gut, as he came spinning back he jumped up on his right foot and landed a back flip kick to the chin, ending the combonation seamlessly with a twisting heel drop to the back of his head, slamming him to the ground.
(Alright, the simplest way to explain this, is combine Ryu and Ken's Dragon Punch (minus the lifting jump), followed by Guile's back flip kick, and right when the kick connects, spinning your body around to plant a heel drop.)

Xiaeriene was fully focused, and she knew it was now time to strike. She rushed toward Vain as Nergal covered her. She brought the butt of her staff down on Vain, accidentally missing the chi point of his abdomen and hitting him hard in the balls. Her eyes were apologetic, as was her expression,b ut she did not lose focus. "I call upon the stored powers of this entity, show yourself, and combine with this staff I offer to you!" Her concentration was straining as the energies that had been leached from TMM seeped into her staff. She twirled it around, slamming it into the ground between herself and TMM. "SPECTRAL SHATTER!" The air around them began to get heavy, as she was attempting to pull her own energies from beyond the seal, using the energies Vain had supplied to her staff as a catalyst. Her vision was gettign blurry, but she bit her tongue to keep from losing consciousness. With a loud groan, she was engulfed in an explosion of rainbow-colored light, as she shattered the seal placed in the area, sending herself and TMM flying by the aftershock of the stored up energies that had been attemping to burst through from all three of them.. She stood up with help from her staff, her legs feeling like jelly, and turned to face TMM's direction "Underestimating an opponent is foolish, but making the assumption that your opponent is underestimating you is just as foolish. You fell right into our trap, now your seal is broken. So then, does this mean our goal was to psyche you out into providing the catalyst needed to break the seal?"

"Correct. You had to play my mind, and use my energy to shatter my seal. In doing so, you had to rely on your physical abilities, and not your powers," He looked over to Vain, sighing a bit. "having Vain was a bit like cheating." Waving a hand, a buffet table filled with all sorts of soda, coffee, and steak. appeared behind him. "After this next task, you're training with me will be over, and you will be free to enjoy the feast; you will need to store up your physical energy after that." Releasing himself from his Highmental state, he took in a deep breathe, focusing hard.
"Alright, I will teach the three of you a strike move, that on the surface is simple, but the three of you each of rather unique abilities, and this ability when mixed with what you know, will make a potent physical attack." Turning to a rock pillar near him, he charged in, swinging a hard uppercut, the massive pillar actually lifting off the ground from the force, and followed it with a straight punch to the center, crushing the rock on the inside.
"That, was Double Impact. It serves as both a basic boxing move, and as a crippling move for those high in energy and endurance. With this move, you focus your energy into your fists, and deliver the uppercut, this will render your opponent paralyzed, and free for your second hit, the straight punch. This second punch, is used to crush them from the inside out, using the punch to force your energy into them, and crush their bone structure. But, the level of energy and concentration it takes for its desired effect, are still a ways aways from you three. At least by knowing the basics, you can expand upon it, and fit this attack to your own uses."
His hands dropped to his side and three more Tenji Makashi Mahashi's morphed in front of him. "Your final test, is to master the basics; get the attack pattern down, and then, you must utilize the attack in a form that fits you most."

Xiaeriene nodded, and took up her usual stance. She knew she had used up much of her energies in breaking the seal, but this was not to rely on her energies, so she knew she could do it. She went through the motions in her head for a few minutes, getting down each and every part down to the timing and all. She shifted her arms, breaking her staff into three portions, then throwing them off forward. He was right, she had not the strength to pull it off alone, but she had her staff to aid her. She held the piece of her staff like a katana, down and back, and charged forward, focusing her energy into her hands and then to her staff. She turned just before range, slamming the butt of her staff into the uppercut using both of her hands. The TMM clone rose into the air just as the rock pillar had done, and the other two portions of the staff suddenly flew at him. Unfortunately, her timing had still be a bit off, as they missed the point of perfect central impact, and merely fell to the ground upon collision. "Damnit, I was pretty close too, perhaps a few more tires would work. I know my strength alone isn't too great, but it is my ability to work with my amplifications, to increase the my strength in a way that becomes just as effective, that I need to use. I can do it, I just need to get my timing perfect and heighten my focus to better my connection of powerflow with the other two pieces of my staff" She picked them up, recombined them, and stepped back.

Vain thought for a moment on Tenji Makashi Mahashi's words; though the point was to ween them off their relliance (sp?) on their powers, and more on their physical strengths, he couldn't help as though he missed something in those words... "...utilize the attack in a form that fits you most" He repeated aloud. Then it clicked.
Charging in at the clone, Vain held his fists behind him, waiting for the right moment. Within range, he stomped down on his right heel, spinning him to the left, and delivered the first punch, but he wasn't able to follow through, as he lost his balance, and fell to the ground.
"Form, check. Balance, not so check." he rubbed his left eye with the heel of his left palm, out of habit from thinking. Now Vain had grasp of how to use it to his liking, but his balancing was thrown off, the negative force of weight pushes him off balance. Sitting back up, he looked down to his hands, then up to the clone. 'Bardok would have this down easily, Izumi would just use it as a sword technique and have it mastered. I am great at fighting hand to hand, but the form even to my liking, doesn't have the power I need to follow through... That's it!'
Smacking himself in the forehead, he rose back to his feet. Trying the move again, he ran at the clone, exactly like before. And like before, as he was within arms reach, he spun his body to the side, but this time, he charged some energy into his fist. Striking the clone with the initial punch, it rose from the ground, the dark energy in his fist keeping it balanced, he followed through in the same matter; as he hit the second punch, he blasted the clone with a Vulcan Cannon, sending it flying away.
"The way this works for me is to play my specialty, energy attacks and manipulation. The even charge of energy with the first punched allowed me to hold up the weight, and keep me balanced long enough to deliver the second punch, and even though like predicted I couldn't put the right amount of force in it to destroy bone, I was able to make the hit count in another way by launching a Vulcan Cannon. I think I'll call this... Vulcan Buster."
