[Gothic Godiva]

At the sound of his choking she would wince. She hadn't meant to cause him any discomfort yet she has. Her good mood just continues to disappear though while he speaks. Slowly she would nod, eating her food almost as if it is an automatic thing, not really tasting it at all. After her bowl is empty she would slowly get up, taking what ever dishes are empty and carrying them back into the kitchen. Once out of the living room she would close her eyes, not understanding what she had said that was wrong. She only wanted to be useful, more so than she is now. Still in a trance like state she washes up, setting the cleaner dishes into the rack to dry. By now it is dark outside and looking back to the living room she thinks for only one second before soundlessly slipping out side to find a safe place on the roof. There she looks up at the sky, thinking, thinking.

He sighed and look at her now living and now thinking about everything that he talked about and with that he then leaned into the sofa and took a sound rest that he just hopefully needed

At the moment she can only think to compare herself to sponge. Constantly curious and wanting to know more. But he had said that to learn more about the mechs would take her years, at a school. That scares her. School would mean more people it would mean unfamiliar faces and places. It would mean time away from him. Her eyes widen when she realizes that is what she is really scared of. Not the thought of some strangers, but the thought that while she is gone he might find someone else to replace her. Sitting up she would 'fly' back into his house. Passing through the kitchen, she would make a detour, only to grab some of the fruit that she had peeled earlier. That in hand she moves into the living room. For once she isn't too shy when she sits next to him, her tail curling by his legs so that her chin is level with his knees. For a few moments she stays there watching him, gathering her courage to rest her hand on his knee.

He wakes almost as alert5 as being awake only to realize that was her that was touching him "yes charis"

For a few moments she sits there, not being certain what to say or how to even approach the subject. She even needs a few seconds to gather her thoughts all in one place. Finally she would close her eyes, taking a deep breath, mostly to steady her voice. "Akri what are we supposed to do? When we want two things at once? Or we're scared of something happening?"

We should have faith and trust in ourselves and that everything will come accord to our own expectations. Other than that is ls to have priorities set what to do first then take other things of less importance.

His words both comfort and only confuse her more. 'Have faith and trust in ourselves.... set priorities' he had said. Her head bending down she avoids looking directly at him, hoping that he doesn't notice the way her fingers curl against his knee, taking hold of the fabric that covers his legs. "If... If I went to school to learn more about the mecha would you replace me?" To him it probably sounds like a stupid and simple question, but to her it means everything. She has come to associated Seisuke with safe and home, without him she would be without both.. and there is something else. For some reason the sounds from the night long ago have haunted her, images passing through her head unbidden of Seisuke with someone else. Charis doesn't want to leave to do something she wants, if it means coming back and finding her home different.

He actually blinked a few times to such question a question that would make him wonder what is passing through the merfolk's head. nonetheless he would answer it, with a sigh that could explain his rhetoric in previous words he began to speak. "I would not replace i mean you are my friend and nothing would ever change that and nothing will be change in your abscense. Don't you worry"

This time his words comfort her further, bring a slight bit of light back to her eyes, but still she is scared. After a few moments of relaxing she would turn her head, shocking even herself wit the thoughts that are moving inside. She still can't help but worry, yet there isn't much that she can do except be bold, which is very much not something she is used to. Her eyes close for a few moments before she turns to look up at him again. Without even realizing it she has lapsed back into talking about herself in third person, a habit that she has picked up in the pens. "Is Charis only a friend?"

Well i do love you my good charis *he said that in the most nicest of ways still what he was feeling for her was a bit different from what she is expecting. It hasn't gotten anything or anywhere that would say otherwise to their relationship except being friends time has to tell its side of the story.* I mean this that i care about you and my words are true i wont replace you.

While not some fairy tail romance, confession of affection, right now it seems to be all that she is looking for. Her tail would stretch out, if she had legs they would be crossed and extended, but slowly she gets up. Waiting until she is hovering before him. In the dim light her tail and fins show to be dark blue, rather than the pale shade that they are. Charis bends at the waist and gives his cheek a quick kiss, for once not even showing the slightest hint of a blush from the affectionate gesture. Already she has figured out how to use her new eye and the computer that is with it, tomorrow she plans to find out more about classes and to sign up for them. But now its time for her to go sleep. Jumping into the aqueduct's entrance in the living room she disappears, finding her way through the dark passages until she can curl up in one in particular. Its the tunnel that leads to his room, but he'll never know shes there. This is her way of being close to him, without pushing any boundaries.

It was the next morning and smiling he woke up with a yawn and very slow strech without making too much sound and with a slowly pace he went to the shower and started to get a bath

While he is busy in the shower, Charis would slowly resurface from the aqueduct's opening. She spends just a few moments making sure the coast is clear before rising up and letting herself drip into the water. When she is no longer in danger of leaving small spots of water on his floor she would enter his closet. Putting herself between its door and the clothes, but not leaving the door too far open. Yesterday, she had made the mistake of taking one of his shirts instead of a shirt that he'd gotten for her. This time she is more thorough in her looking and ends up finding a bikini top and a more casual top as well. Either shirt alone would be a bad idea. Charis thinks that the bikini top reveals too much skin, while the cotton shirt would get completely soaked and reveal other things when she leaves the water. So two shirts it is!

Uknown to him that she was dressing up, he walks semi wet and naked to his dorm room again singing eyes semi closed revealing all parts of his body to her while he was not looking for his clothes in particular.

As he walks in completely without clothes and without the knowledge that she is there, she blushes deeply. Her cheeks turning a shade of bright red while she can feel the heat radiating off of them. In her hands is the regular shirt that she hasn't actually put on yet. Since he hasn't noticed her yet, and is blocking her way out, the best thing for her to do, is to remain quiet and hope he doesn't find out shes there. However, she is too scared to move. Floating there in midair, she clutches the shirt to her body, eyes wide while she tries to keep them above his shoulders. Yet, its nearly impossible. Even her past masters hardly walked around without a stitch on. In fact they would wear the clothes while she was most often naked. Reaching out, as though in a trance, Charis grabs the nearest piece of his clothing that she can reach, and holds it out to him.
