Quin smiled and picked at his fruit salad humming happily when he got a really sweet piece of fruit, it was so yummy. "I think i'll start eatting more fruit." Not that he didn't already eat tons of it.

Isaiah made a point of using all the batter, which left the last pancake to come out of the pan a little oddly shaped. Chuckling at it, he decided to take that one and ate it while he brought the rest to the table.
"Help yourself, love," he said then grabbed a second pancake and topped it with some fruit salad.
"Hey Lake? Why don't you come with us when we go to pack my stuff? Then you can see Johnny that much sooner and come back at your leisure," he suggested..after he had swallowed the huge bite he had taken.

Quin took one of the smaller pancakes off the top and munched on it happily. " yummy." Looking at Laken he smiled. " Yea thats a good idea then you could see you boys too."
Laken smiled and sat down at the tabel. " That sounds like a good idea, and i dont think anything has to be done here today."

"Well that settles it then," Isaiah announced then took another bite of pancake and fruit salad. He chewed, swallowed and then smiled at Laken.
"I imagine you'll want to see your luvvie as soon as possible. So we'll go right after Quin and I finish eating, ok?"

Quin nodded as he finished his pancake and then continued to munch on his fruit. He was okay with that plan, Laken did to much around the house and needed to get out more.
"Take your time boys." Lakensaid as he went to tidy the kitchen up on impulse.

Isaiah, seeing what Laken was going to do, got up and waylaid the cat before he could.
"Oh no you don't. Sit. Have a pancake or three. Just don't start tidying," he said, knowing he must look and sound funny chiding one of Quin's housemates like this. "You do too much of that as it is. Think of this as your day off."

Laken gave him a funny look. " I dont get day off, I run the house, didn't you know?" He really did he was the first anthro to move in thus was head of the house hold, everything went through him first. " I have bills to do and grocery lists to make."
Quin laughed. " It's hopeless love, we can help him as much as possibly and he'll still find something else that needs to be done."

Laken stood up straight standing at his full...5'3 frame, okay he was short but he could still be scary. " Now you listen to me mister, go eat your breakfast. Im going into MY kitchen and making a lunch to bring with me to share with MY mate, and if i happen to clean up after words so be it." He said hands on his hips.
[Quin just stared at them trying not to laugh, it was funny watching them.

"Ooh, hostile," Isaiah murmured, very obviously amused.
"Alright, alright. You can make a lunch for you and your mate but I better not catch you cleaning up after yourself or I will tie you up and deliver you to Johnny in a burlap sack," he warned, then patted the top of Laken's head and went back to his breakfast.
"By the way: you're more cute than frightening when you get all puffed up like that," he added, rolling some fruit salad in another pancake then turning to grin at his own mate.

Laken huffed turned and went to make him and Johnny something nice for lunch, thinking about his faveourtie things to snack on.
Quin giggled and shook his head, rubbing his tummy, he couldn't beileve it was going to swell with life soon.

Isaiah raised the fruit-filled pancake to his lips but paused at the last second and peeked over his shoulder at Laken. When he was sure the feline was out of earshot, he turned to Quin with his eyes opened wide and said, "You know, for a minute there, I really thought he was gonna attack me. Did you see the look on his face? If I had pushed it any further, he'd have killed me..or, even worse, have made me tidy the kitchen." gonk

He chewed the minimal number of times necessary then swallowed and continued, "And I never actually offered to tidy but, left to my own devices, I would. I just meant what if he'd gone all slave driver and yelled at me like a frickin' drill instructor while I cleaned? I don't work well under pressure." ><

Chuckling Quin cleaned up his mess and stood, he couldn't eat anymore. " Im sure he wouldn't do that since he hasn't yet. Im gonna go ask him if he still has his cribs."
